I've watched a lot of similar videos but this is one of the few showing the proper way to use a torque wrench. That means pulling the handle towards your body instead of away. I was taught the proper way when I was in the Air Force and I was glad to see this video torquing properly.

Finally a build that doesn't cost 100 grand! It even has an engine that can be daily driven on the street. It's refreshing to get away from "street" engines with parts designed for 4000-9000 RPM. Nice job!

All these shows doing rebuilds have one thing in common- everyone is afraid to rebuild transmissions or even learn how. If you can build an engine, you can build a transmission. And, if you can afford a 2-post lift, you can afford the few specialty tools for common transmissions.

You should have at least done a quick soda blast on the frame, then apply rusty converter, and a black spray coat. Wouldn't cost much, but make it last.

Blowing air from your lungs (carbon dioxide) into a can of regular enamel will stop a skin forming in the can due to oxidation (reacting to oxygen). Never tried it with 2K hardener but I can't see why it wouldn't work the same way to stop it going off.

Port matching is between the inlet manifold port & the inlet port of the head not the casket as the casket will squeeze into the inlet port once torqued down causing turbulence you should stop the match porting before the casket edge by a mm
