Whaattt?? Angela used to live in Indonesia for 12 YEARS??!! And she speak Indonesian very well??!! Dang it, Angela! I'm from Indonesia and I'm so happy to know that!😍😍😍
It's crazy how emotional I get just listening to your stories of grief; it's not even my grief...yet, when you (anyone, really) talk about your memories of your loved ones, I feel it too, and tears fill my eyes as if it were my own memories.
The Office is my comfort zone when anything in my life is hard or I am mentally drained. I can always count on this show to bring me back to feeling better and feeling comfort . It’s like a warm hug that you need when you are feeling down or just want one . Love this show ❤
Guys the office helped me get through the first few months of my mom's death, she died on august 1st of this year 2024 and i started watching the office on august 5th as a way to escape my dark nights. i finished the series two days ago and i've to say that i cried as if i was also part of the production, but i simply cried because with this series the hardest days i've ever spent in my life were gone. it is impossible to imagine that you can laugh in those days, but all of you made it possible. thank you from the bottom of my heart from a Venezuelan girl living in Poland. Thank you Rainn (very good podcast), Thank you Dwight (my favorite character). Thank you to all the cast. 💚💚💚
“Life goes on, and you take the letters off…” - Angela Kinsey I just wrote this quote on a posted note and set if on my book shelf. It’s so deep, and simple and beautiful. …that’s what she said.
The Office has definitely helped me through lonely nights and bouts of depression and anxiety. Especially with the way things are right now. Dwight and Angela were my favorite characters, and I thank you both for bringing them to life. Rainn, you have such a good and charitable heart, you're a light in these dark times.
I am five years younger than Angela, but I too lived in Jakarta and went to JIS. My dad was a petroleum engineer. I think I may have been at JIS at the same time as Angela. Who knows maybe our father's worked together. Such a small world!
Angela Kinsey and Rainne Wilson are two of those people I just love and enjoy listening to anytime, for pretty much any reason at all...even grief. Office Family Forever is a real vibe
I used to keep The Office playing on my laptop morning, noon and night for about 5 years. I used to sleep with it on. Something about it just soothed me to my soul. I loved watching this podcast today. It feels like I just visited with family.
@@whispering8833 I'm not against normal cast reunions for interviews and stuff. I just don't like the idea of bringing shows back unless it's an exceptional case like Chuck or Mindhunter. And yes, the Friends reunion was awful. The cast probably thought they could do a mega reunion in their 60s but Matthew Perry's death showed that they should have done it much earlier
Our all time favorite tv series! I’m from the Philippines and my grown up kid and daughter in law, we always bond watching The Office. Even when I’m watching this alone, I always text my kids and say, it was hilarious that Dwight says he could make his blood pressure go up and down! Or when they did parkour, when Jim would prank you with your office stuff 😂 or when Michael was showing off his plasma tv! Thank you, thank you! Love you guys!
Rainn is kinda real life impish and admirable. How can we speak about grief and not mention Sprinkles? This show is great. Thank you for your authenticity ❤
Feeling pretty down today. Missing my dad who tragically passed in a car accident in 2012 he was my best friend. Anyway I found this on Facebook today. I picked this one to watch. I just feel like my dad was like watch this... Grief sucks. Thanks for sharing ❤ my small family are big office fans. Love you guys
Rainn, Angela, hearing you guys discuss mental health is so, SO beneficial. Thank you Angela, for opening up about your nephew and the struggles of your family ❤ The two of you made such a great podcast 🫶
I've watched the series twice. That's street cred..... I wanna give yall a virtual hug. What was produced and given to us will never be duplicated, for better or worse. Something special
I’m a lonesome person. Mostly by choice. These videos make me feel good. The warmth on display is beautiful. Deep conversations but with humour and warmth. Best videos online!
You're both just incredibly beautiful people. Angela, I'm sorry to hear about your nephew. I am one of the fans of The Office that has found comfort in watching the series (I've lost count how many times). I have depression and anxiety, which has often been soothed by watching the show. Thank you Angela, for wording it that way "we lost him to depression". I think when people say it the other ways that they do, to me it points the finger at that person, blaming them as though it's their decision and fault.
My family was one that was brought together by The Office! Thank you! We quote lines in our everyday lives and we laugh together! It’s one way I was able to connect to my teens. ❤❤❤❤❤
My husband and I have just discovered The Office 😳 twenty years later! Our adult kids introduced us to the series! We were asking each other why we didn’t know about it? 20 years ago we were tired, working full time, and raising 10 and 14 year olds. Better late than never! 📺
This was so wholesome...i loved the Dwight and Angela bit so much..how happy they were talking about it. This was an hour of joy for my heart ❤ thank you Rainn for filming this
I lost my dad in 2017 and I feel his loss every day too. Some days it’s more than others. I saved a voicemail from my last birthday before he passed and I cherish hearing that message every year on my birthday. I appreciate you talking about your losses as it normalizes the conversation about grief. From one Louisiana/Texas gal to another, thank you, Angela for sharing so vulnerably.
I really appreciate the conversation about grief. Especially when you are grieving a parent. I lost my mom last February and had lived with her the last 8 years of her life after developing dementia. That is a special type of grief- grieving someone so important to you who is still physically with you. 💜
I loved listening to this conversation. Celebrities seem larger than life until a video like this one reminds us that they are regular people, just like us and with the same feelings, fears, and joys. Thanks for allowing us to eavesdrop!
Lost my dad in 2002, i was 14, he was 47. Grief is still a part of everyday life for me, miss him very much. I have my own family now a perfect wife and two beautiful girls. I wish he could meet his granddaughters but i hope somewhere somehow he can see us.
1. Angela what are you talking about? You look amazing! 2. Grief is long, I miss my aunt everyday and I wear the crewneck she gave me every single day. 3. I think Dwight & Angela have 8 kids at this point, but I like everything y'all said about how they're living happily.
I lost my grandfather less then a year ago who was pretty much my dad and when you brought up your dads it really hit home for me and it makes me feel better hearing your stories! I love how you structure your podcast it gives you a chance to see the real side of your favorite actors thank you for sharing and keep them coming!!!
Her words, grief of losing her father , 9 years ago for me as well.... man , that gave me chills cause that's exactly how it truly feels ..... a smell, a sound , music... everything triggers that devastation. And the attachment of things you wouldn't consider until it happens ........ man. 😢 Thanks for making me sob Angela, I sincerely know THAT pain, deeply ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This conversation! I found such comfort in it. Two favorite actors, who have become two favorite people I don’t know personally, coming together in deep friendship to laugh a bit, cry a bit, reflect a bit. I was moved, shed a few tears, and felt my heart warmed and lightened. Thank you so much, Rainn and Angela. 💖😌
I lost my father in 2020, I was in an awful car accident along with him. The pain never leaves and the moment the grief pops up, you can be anywhere and around anyone. I wish I had his voice recorded somewhere still, it lives on only in my head. I miss him dearly every day. Thank you all for sharing your stories, been a fan a long time now.
this makes my heart so happy, i didn't know this podcast was a thing, so thrilled to start diving into these and so grateful my intro to it was you two together again. two beautiful humans, inside and out. thank you, rainn and angela
You guys made me tear up! The Office definitely has help a lot of people, even myself during hard times. Mental health is rough and real. Hope everyone who needs help can reach out and get the help needed.
Rain, your description of your Dad describes my Dad as well. All my life, I wanted to emulate him. He was my hero and I miss him every day. He went to heaven in 2008, and I know I will see him again.
I still love hearing you folks talk. I heard this episode before, but I enjoy hearing it again. I remember how the Dwight character reminded me of some (A-holes) I worked with, in my youth. I never worked in an office,....well I did for one summer, when I was 19. But I worked in retail, for more than 25 years. With a crew of 5 people, at the same store. There was always a Dwight character. Employees came and went,.....however there was a core group of "lifers",....we stayed with the company for the entire 25-plus years. Towards the end of my employment, I would come back, to fill in, for people who took their vacations. The best part of the job, was that our boss was almost never around. He called in, in the morning to go over our day's goals. He sometimes came in, after we were closed for the evening, to do the bookkeeping. After 25 years, we knew how to run his shop, we knew his rules and how he wanted things done. Most of our customers, thought "we" owned the store.
The office has helped me in many situations, as others have said. I remember a few months back I was struggling with personal stuff and I started having a panic attack, my first reaction was to turn on the office and it was somewhere in season 6 where I left it a few days prior. I just slowly sobbed while watching 4 episodes in a row and let myself sink in my chair and just exist with the characters. By the end I was smiling and calm. Makes me tear up just thinking about it
Recently I’ve been ill and going through changes mentally, whenever this happens the office is on 24/7. I’ve listened to two soul boom podcasts while the office is on in the background. Im from the UK, the US office bears uk office hands down.
The amount of times I’ve re-watched the office is sickening! 😂 it stays on repeat. You guys have truly got me through the darkest times in my life. This is truly my comfort show❤️
I LOVED this so much!!! Just one thing though…Dwight Schrute would NEVER leave Dunder Mifflin especially as he was made Manager of the Scranton branch!! 😂 thanks so much for bringing this joy to our lives Rainn Wilson! ❤🙌🏻
This is so good and you speak the truth! I live alone and one time I decided to count how many it days since I was touched - just a handshake or pat on the back. It was over 40 days. It was so many days it felt numbing. We are losing human connections. Love you guys.
It was so amazing to see you take a moment to pray together. The power of prayer can heal, strengthen and overcome anything life throws at us. Love the podcast and I can sum it up with 3 things, bears, beets, Battlestar Galactictica!!
It took me a long time to get over my mother's passing. I spent a year in grief. She was my anchor and support. I learned a lot in that. I learned that you should not ask someone, "Hey, how's things going?" If you're not prepared to hear, "Not well." I learned to reach out instead of giving advice. No one wants to hear, "Well, you know, they are better off." I learned to reach out and call someone. I learned to listen. I learned to offer up my help. I can pull weeds, help with the dishes, run errands. I can just be there as you cry and hold your hand.
I just rewatched all of The Office. I have been going through some dark times, but something about The Office makes me feel that everything is going to be okay.
Prayer mid pod was so awesome! I love Rainn being unashamed of putting faith in the forefront! Also great point about only saying grace at dinner, what an awesome way to bring gratefulness into the everyday. And not only did he make the point he immediately did something about and made it actionable!
Thank you for being vulnerable and honest. How interesting it is to get a glimpse of the actual human beings behind the characters! Sending love from Sweden ❤
Fireplace channel idea, but its 8 hours of 'the office' workers just casually sitting at their desk quietly working normally. Id watch that while I worked. Would make me feel like i was working in an office again.
Thank you for mentioning grappling with the grief of losing your dads. I lost my mom last year and the grief is still gutting, dark and often unbearabke. Only those who went through that kind of loss get the constant ache. I wished i could talk about it to family but they quickly change the subject to prevent my suffering more, which actually just makes it worse. So thanks for validating the degree of grief. ❤
Thank you so much for making this episode. Harlan Ellison once wrote that getting old means watching everyone around you die, and realizing that it could be your turn next (I'm paraphrasing). I never felt that line hit so hard until this year, where everyone around me has been dying and the grief has been so hard to deal with. Hearing you guys talk about this stuff is truly a huge help at this junction in my life, so again: thank you so much :)
So much love for this podcast. Rainn and Dwight (minus the extra drama for TV) are same and I love them both. I cannot believe that Dwight became my favorite character and my fav moment was when Dwight finally became the manager. When I saw that episode, it felt like a sign from universe that never stop dreaming, it will flow.
What a great podcast and at a great time too. My grandfather passed away two months ago and he was really my father he would always call me his son. So it is really nice to hear about Rain and Angela’s experiences with there fathers passing away. Thank you.
Another fantastic episode! I love that the topics of this podcast are so close to everyone, real talk about day-to-day stuff that everyone goes through! Thank you Angela and Rainn! Much love from Barcelona!!!
Who would have thought that a podcast with angela and dwight, where angela revels she is Indonesian. would be ignored by the world. This was GREAT, loved it. A shame no one seems to care. Rain, you need more subscribers!!! This should have a million views minimum.
The life anchor quote resonated with me so powerfully in my relationship with my father who passed in 2020 ❤ it’s so hard to navigate grief bc like they said, it’s with you forever 😢
I've only seen a few episodes of the office but watching this makes me want to go re watch. Thank you for talking about mental health and spirituality openly
Would really like to see longer episodes. also just wanted to say we love to hear the tangents. I really enjoy when a podcast feels like a conversation and the host isn't worried about the audience retention with redirects etc. :) Love you both. Cheers.
I just discovered this podcast and I love this so much! I didn’t know this podcast is what I was missing in my life. Thank you so much for the love and the laughs and the getting real with emotions. Thank you so much ❤
Okay, so without a DOUBT. You two are soul mates and have lived various lifetimes together. What are the odds about your childhoods and then meeting and being on the same show, playing a couple.. being friends so long. Yep, undeniable. 😊

I love when the cast members of the show reunite. I loved watching this! (Also: Rainn’s voice is so soothing 😭✨)
I often put his audiobooks on to go to sleep ☺️
I just rewatched all of The Office. I have been going through some dark times, but something about The Office makes me feel that everything is going to be okay.
You don’t understand how much I love you 2 and the whole cast. Thank you for this gift ❤
Prayer mid pod was so awesome! I love Rainn being unashamed of putting faith in the forefront! Also great point about only saying grace at dinner, what an awesome way to bring gratefulness into the everyday. And not only did he make the point he immediately did something about and made it actionable!
It’s so nice to see God acknowledged. So often overlooked in the Hollywoodshpere.
People pray before bedtime too or at least the used to you. He's not aware or that has changed.
Thank you for being vulnerable and honest. How interesting it is to get a glimpse of the actual human beings behind the characters! Sending love from Sweden ❤
More episodes with office cast!! Let us see Dwight and Jim talk about the classic pranks plz 💜
Fireplace channel idea, but its 8 hours of 'the office' workers just casually sitting at their desk quietly working normally. Id watch that while I worked. Would make me feel like i was working in an office again.
The stories of grief and how the feelings come in waves. 🍃
About “How is you weekend “ is so funny! I had the exact same feelings moving to Canada from Europe. “Can you just stop asking how am I!” 😅
I love Angela so much! She has such a beautiful soul❤
Agreed!
You see Rainn and Angela: You Are The Greatest People In The World.
Thank you.
Rainn and Angela is such a delight to watch ❤
Another fantastic episode! I love that the topics of this podcast are so close to everyone, real talk about day-to-day stuff that everyone goes through! Thank you Angela and Rainn!
Much love from Barcelona!!!
Who would have thought that a podcast with angela and dwight, where angela revels she is Indonesian. would be ignored by the world. This was GREAT, loved it. A shame no one seems to care. Rain, you need more subscribers!!! This should have a million views minimum.
BEING ABLE TO see u together makes me VERY HAPPY! Thank you for this AMAZING inteview... its so warm for the heart
Rainn, could you please turn the lava lamp on next time? It’s KIND OF A BIG DEAL. MkThanks
The life anchor quote resonated with me so powerfully in my relationship with my father who passed in 2020 ❤ it’s so hard to navigate grief bc like they said, it’s with you forever 😢
Dwight and Angelaaaa!!! Awwww😭😭😭😭
Dang, I love this podcast. What delightful and open people. I'm better for the time I spend here. Thank you.
Cheers.
I love that Angela in the office has the personality that she does but i love even more how awesome she is as a real person Angela
I just discovered this podcast and I love this so much! I didn’t know this podcast is what I was missing in my life. Thank you so much for the love and the laughs and the getting real with emotions. Thank you so much ❤
Great conversation. The discussion around grief really resonated with me. ❤
Love how I just looked up "Rainn Wilson" and this popped up. So glad to be here at the beginning!
so glad to have you!!
Okay, so without a DOUBT. You two are soul mates and have lived various lifetimes together. What are the odds about your childhoods and then meeting and being on the same show, playing a couple.. being friends so long. Yep, undeniable. 😊
The chemistry you guys have was awesome thrue out this podcast. Makes me miss the office even more!
This was fantastic! The Office is one of those rare shows where the cast really are good friends. Very refreshing
Amo tu podcast Rainn! Estoy escuchando todos los capitulos, uno mejor que el otro. Me encanta que te hayas propuesto la via espiritual. Esto me hace muy bien! 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷 I’m from Argentina… love your podcast, man!
The office helped my mental health and now it's a bonding show for me and my husband❤
