Rainn, i don't know if you read comments, but since discovering Soul Boom just a week ago, I have been SO internally transformed in regards to my mental health. Recently I lost my job and have been so sad/depressed and disheartened trying to find a new job. Watching Soul Boom has genuinely made me realize that what I'm going through is a part of my story and not something I should be ashamed or afraid of.

Hey... I don't know you but just wanted to say - I went through a similar situation. I had a really good job and I was laid off one random morning... for a whole year and a half before finding a job...... My mental health struggled immensely... Now with the job I've been lucky enough to get - I'm MUCHHHH more grateful and appreciative of my situation and during my unemployment time I really was forced to learn more about who I really was and how I can work through adversity and still succeed (with a shit ton of self-doubt along the way). Sending you love and support throughout your job search. It's such a shitty time to be looking for a job but whether it's next week or next year - your job does not define you - you are worthy - and the tide will shift. You got this shit - it's just a chapter.

@@Andrew-yw4xs Andrew, holy smokes man, I know this is just text on a screen but I am a real human being on this end and I can tell you are a real human being on that end and through this community we are having a real human connection right now; I cannot tell you how important what you just typed meant for me. You basically described my exact situation to a 'T'. I really enjoyed my job and thought it was going really well, but then I was laid off early one morning, called in to office before the office opened. My mental health since has been so terrible. So much of my day is consistent of self-deprication and wondering where I'll end up. It's really nice to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel. As you said, I have been forced to dig deep into myself, acquire grit, and keep going, all while learning more about myself and who I really am while going through phases of self-doubt. I will sometimes have entire days where I'm optimistic and look forward to all the possibilities I can end up, and other days I'm just full of anxiety and being frightened of not amounting to anything and not being able to support myself. "Sending you love and support throughout your job search - your job does not define you - you are worthy - and the tide will shift. You got this shit - it's just a chapter"....I'll be holding on to this part for a while, It's very encouraging.
I did have an interview a couple days ago, Praise God, so I will let you know if I hear anything back on that.

When I clicked on the video, I was just thinking of how interesting it would be to see Dwight talk to Hal (not Walter, but I figured Walter would take the spotlight), but I was blown away by the first impromptu scene you guys did, I thought that was fascinating and we were all lucky to get to see it as it's not something that's packaged into a movie or show we could watch. Also, totally wasn't expecting the plug for Waking Up on here, that's such a cool thing for you to promote here!

I used to have that problem on not being able to distinguish between the actor and the character, but Rainn is just so much more interesting of a guy to limit him to Dwight. Rainn is the guy who helped break the connection between actor and character and I feel like I can enjoy films and shows in greater depth because of that. Thank you Rainn!

I would love a short where Dwight is somehow forced to work with Walter for some sort of drug deal. Dwight must assist Walter under a ridiculous circumstance.

For the New Trier 2020 graduation, Rainn made a short but meaningful video for our video graduation. In such a horrible time in my life, he really made me feel like someone cared.

That inspiration is divinely given and it’s time to stay open!
