If I’m not mistaken, Surfacing is the song they play the most at concerts. Seeing Craig headbanging made me sad, knowing that he’ll never do that again with Slipknot. 💜
Dynamo 2000, one of Slipknot’s best shows. They were truly chaotic and ferocious back then. It’s a weird time to be a maggot right now with the whole Craig thing going on. Great video guys
I first seen Slipknot when they toured Iowa in 2002, Valentines day. It was just before my 16th birthday and it has shaped my life in more ways than one. I compare EVERY metal band I see live to that energy, that performance.... and no one or no band has came close.
During this first tour they were so out of control. Hitting each other was the norm, blood was frequent and trips to emergency afterwards happened often. I first saw them live on this tour and came out of the pit with a number of injuries, even though I'm a big guy and rarely take damage in a pit. Sid climbed on top of a speaker stack mid show, easy 5-6 meters up, and jumped into the pit. Chris had bloody hands from punching his drums. Absolutely insane
Corey’s mask which is probably his greatest mask, his dreads were pulled through the top of the mask and after a while he had to change cuz it was pulling his hair out. Just a bit of Slipknot fun fact for ya.
I first saw Slipknot at Ozzfest 99 in San Bernardino...never heard of them and they opened the second stage...very first band and they started with this song and, oh my god they blew me away! The energy was unreal...i was hooked and i bought the cd the very next day, they played the entire album in order....badass show!!! And i lost my San Diego Padres hat in the mosh pit
You guys always say Rest in Peace for Joey when he's in these videos, but never for Paul Grey, the bass player who passed away in 2010. He was the one who wore the pig mask.
My first Slipknot concert was in 2000, I was fortunate enough to get in early enough to be at the front of the GA floor right by the security barricade of the stage and when sic went off, I got swept up in the pit from hell. I came home from that concert battered, bloodied and exhausted but loved every minute of it. Maggot for life \m/ 💀\m/
William Regale (Power of the punch) a big punch usually with brass knuckles. Alternatively, standing sleeper hold usually transitioning to an atomic drop.
Don't remember which tour, but there's video online of a Puscifer show where they had a wrestling ring and 4 luchadores who would do a full wrestling act through songs. Maynard was wearing a luchadore mask as well.
Absolutely love that you guys did this one. I left a comment on the Patreon page, you gotta do The Blister Exists from 2005 at Big Day Out, it’s fucking incredible.
Come on. Surfacing live from 2002 London. The opening when they pause is so awesome. That’s also the best Spit it Out version as well. Corey gets so mad that the fans aren’t getting in ground fast enough., come on
@JustinReal I know, it's always download 09, which was great, but the 2002 was fire! Also the bit in Gently when that kids get pretty much knocked out 😂😂
@@crayzeewhorse the whole concert is so amazing especially pretty early in their careers. I’ve never seen that much work and energy from anyone else . That much effort to entertain a crowd by every single member is so unique. 2009 was great but it just doesn’t compare to this 2002 London . I think Joey on the drums and spinning are the highlight for sure and you can’t look past that .
Great one guys 🤟 im so happy i got to see Them while Craig was still with Them if you did not know he left the band IT was annonce 3 Days ago then they took IT down but New vidéos from fans you see they gave a New Guy have a great weekend
I saw them last night at download and it was amazing. It was a shame that Craig wasn't there, but Shawn was able to make it after his wife had health problems.
If you guys are game enough to listen to this song one more time, check out their live performance of (sic) at the Download Festival 2009, the same place where Spit it Out (Jump the fuck up) was filmed
I have been revisiting slipknot, especially since my daughter has gotten into them and asked me to suggest songs. I remember going to an early Ozzfest and seeing them. The lineup included Disturbed, Mudvayne, Marylin Manson and a Sanbath Reunion. I would like to see you guys do a more recent live version of Duality.
Hey guys, I really liked the video. Can you make a video reacting to Spit It Out in Dynamo 2000? If I'm not mistaken, this show happens the first "Jump The F*ck Up" is super chaotic!
Slipknot is the real deal I have this album got it when it was new it should have been called music to beat someone's ass to When they said we're you going to be in the next 5 years well there still out there and especially relevant to this day showing how good they actually are.
SLIPKNOT SATURDAY! ' sic - LIVE ' " HERE COMES THE PAIN! " 🤘🏻😆 NEXT ' Slipknot Saturday ' Suggestion, from LP ' Adderall ': Slipknot got a new, ( sorta), album called ' Adderall ' , 6 track, songs, broken down ... ua-cam.com/play/OLAK5uy_laJUfCzCicnL3vUN58nR-CpiMUGeTNbqY.html " DEUCES! " ✌🏻😆✌🏻
You guys should definitely check out Let it Die by Foo Fighters, it's one of their best and reaches both some of their calmest and heaviest moments. I love your reactions, I've watched a great deal of them, especially the Tool ones
Can y’all do some reactions to Every Time I Die?? One of the best metalcore bands of all time. Chonky breakdowns, slick riffs, and an amazing vocalist/lyricist. Song choices: Underwater Bimbos from Outer Space, The Coin Has a Say, Pigs is Pigs, For the Record, Sly, Idiot.
I know there will be people hating on this comment but the red jumpsuit album is still my favorite of all time.that album came out my final year of high school and was my theme music for years. Iowa was great but not like this album. I'm officially calling out smokey and hollywood, you are not full maggots until you see them live. Challenge is on the table!
They always slapped and hit and fought eachother back then jaha but it al just playing around its all love haha ,they use to flip a coin who ever lost for punched jahaha
Hey TRASH TALKERS check put Chicken Train by OZARK MOUNTAIN DAREDEVILS unique funny and wierd and great all rolled up in a hillbilly groove that will have you taping and singing 😅😅😅😅😅😅
It's a shame Slipknot are so fucking sterile and clean now. No anger, no hatred, no emotion, just generic metal. I miss MFKR/self titled/IOWA era Slipknot when they were hungry and pissed off.
That raw energy is the energy of youth. Slipknot cannot perform at that intensity anymore, and neither can any band after they age. Growing old is a sad part of life. I can guarantee each one of them have that same fire burning in them, but our bodies start to give out long before the fire in our hearts. Metal, or aggressive music in general, is for the young, at least on a performance level. This is the way Sic is supposed to be, not the way they do it today with everyone basically just standing in place.
If I’m not mistaken, Surfacing is the song they play the most at concerts. Seeing Craig headbanging made me sad, knowing that he’ll never do that again with Slipknot. 💜
He just bowed out of a bunch of your dates, didn't dive into why, so I'm not gonna pretend I know.... But not having him there would suck!!
What happened? O_o
@@ArticReaper Craig is no longer with Slipknot.
@@MissDillinger1 Awww man, Wonder why ;-;
@@ArticReaper I'm not sure, I haven't completely read it yet, so I'm not going to say anything that may not be true
Corey was actually screaming in the “unhealthy” way on Self-Titled and Iowa, but… man, it sounds BRUTAL.
'Surfacing' is always the final song of every show and has been for literally decades.
They played it at the opening of the show as well

Man they are so young here. We are so old now as time passes on but I still feel this age deep in my heart!
We need some more slipknot download 2009 live reactions! Do eyeless live from download 2009! It’s insane.
Amazing concert from start to finish
This performance is killer 🔥🔥🔥

Rammstein Sonne live Rock am ring 2010. Boys gotta check it out. Slipknot saturdays 🤘

Took the words out of my mouth
Yep. Paul was a genius and deserves to be appreciated and remembered.
Back in the day, Sic was almost always the opener. Even until their 4th album.
This show is chaos incarnit

Sample of their intro is telling "the whole thing i think it's sick"
Sleeping on 'Make Them Suffer' "Doomswitch" and "Ghost of Me"
'blessthefall' "Wake the Dead"
Those are the metalcore jams lately. Guaranteed views. 😁
I was there, it was total chaos.!!

1 of the best live shows 🥵
Personal fav for me!
early doors slipknot was a revolution, an angry, loud, 18 legged machine
The best performance of Slipknot!
i love this concert
Let's go boys!! Hittin' the OG tracks, it's like being back in high school 🔥
Craig Jones is no longer in the band 😢

I'm assuming you guys already know that Craig Jones is out of I'm very much looking forward to this have a wonderful day
Trash talkers you guys need to do a reaction to STAINDS new one called The Lowest in Me
The whole thing I think is sic!
SID broke both his ankles or legs or something to that effect stage dives
You guys gotta react to New abortion live from disasterpieces 2002. Absolutely insane performance
You got to do the band the tale untold - battleground
Everyone always said RIP Joey but never RIP Paul
Beacuse no one cared about paul before he passed away, that's the reality. he was what vman is for the fans nowdays
