Lore of the Old West has had a lot of evil villains, but none as dastardly as the man who in his forties tried to pass a phony student ID, and then said "Pain in the ass!" when he got caught, like it was the ticket taker's fault. RIP -Heddy- Hedley Lamarr.
I ended my 40 year career in HOLLYWOOD on December 17, 2015, by leaving out of that very Warner Bros. gate 2 at just after midnight and walking across the street where Harvey Korman gets in that cab... only back then there was a Mexican restaurant on that block, and since then Warner's built a multi-storey parking structure. BLAZZING SADDLES has made so much money for the studio, and to think their management at the time hated and just dumped it on the market... weeks later they had nothing but praise!
