O man this is awesome! “I thought I almost lost a 500 dollar hand cart” I love Mel Brooks especially blazing saddles
Tampa Jay I loved space balls so comedy mango
400
Mel Brooks has got to be the funniest man alive, I don't think I've missed any of his movies. In Spaceballs he comes out of the transporter with his bottom half backwards and says"how come nobody told me my ass was this big?"😜
Thank you! That was terrific! Love Blazing Saddles! How about visiting locations of another comedy classic, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
Very Cool Band storyJordan!!! Cool movie coverage as well!!! 👍
Cool video :)
"Where the white women at?"..... Hahaha
Somebody's gonna have to go back and get a s*** load of dimes
Excuse me while I whip this out ... ;--)
Best comedy ever! How bout more of them beans Mr. Tagert? I’d say ya had enough.
Great vlog! I love Blazing Saddles, this makes me want to watch it again.
I know I don't comment much but I watch all of your vlogs and I have enjoyed them all. It may sound wierd but watching them is relaxing. 🐴 🤠
De camptown ladies!!!
Classic Mel Brooks ! Love it!
"THE SHERIFF IS A!" DING. Ahh, the sheriff is near.
Hedley Lamarr
Thats Hedy
Throw out Your hands stick out your tush !
Mel Brooks is genius ! Love that LITTLE JAH!
Love Blazing Saddles and Mel Brooks. Thank You for showing the filming location.
Thanks, Jordan. Great job! The actors in Blazing Saddles brought us so many laughs, in many films. Mel Brooks put the best together, over and over. The John Wayne line: priceless!
Mel brooks is comedy. Good one jordan!
I love space balls the best so funny
Great vlog! Blazzing Saddles is a classic comedy! I laugh everytime I watch it.
Surrender! My Mom
Is good friends with Robin Zander. He lives very close to me
I love it ... if I ever get the to watch that film , I'll be more than glad to do so . Thank you for the vlog . Stay safe
Great Vlog.
I never watched this movie until 40 years had passed because I heard about the racial content and I was very sensitive to that. At the time I did not think of it in terms of comedy. But I finally bought the Blue Ray version and sat down and watched and realized how brilliant it was. Obviously Mel Brooks had the testicles to get this done his way and it really worked. To be honest I think I had to wait 40 years to be mellow enough to really enjoy it. Now I watch it at least once a year and it does not get tired.
Kudos to your friend and his mountain topping achievement. He climbed it because it was there, good enough reason. Wonder if he took any pictures from the summit.
Again, a very enjoyable excursion into film history.
jah your so spoiled and so love to take care
i loved Blazing Saddles thank you for doing the vlog
Wow! Loved this vlog Jordan! Mel Brooks is still my favorite! One year for Christmas I gave myself a box set of Mel Brooks comedy collection. He is right up there with the Stooges and Laurel & Hardy for me! Thanks for another great vlog Jordan!
Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are two of my all time favorites. It's twue... it's TWUE!! Hedy Lamarr did not have a sense of humor at all about the play on her name, btw. Oh, I use to sing Surrender, Dream Police and Auf wiedersehen some yrs. back. So cool you got to sing with them!
I watch a lot of people and videos now but as soon as I hear your intro music it’s like coming home. Keep up the good work! You seem so happy these days too!
Thank you so much. Im pretty happy in many ways.. and not in some also..
Jordan you are the best!!
Those oil rigs always make me think of the glass drinking birds Grandpa had lol. Blazing Saddles what a classic ! Only Mel Brooks could put together such great comedy. Awesome vlog . Grats to Breck for making it to the top.
Another fun vlog. Will need to rewatch Blazin Saddles.
This was great! Blazing saddles is a classic. Loved how Jah was looking at you with lovin eyes. Too cute! We missed him.
I think James Dean took those glasses.
That was a good concert. All those different band members. They all knew each others songs. Stray Cats, Doobie Brothers, 💋 Kiss and I can't remember the others. I wish I could hear you sing. Thanks..
I love Blazing saddles thank you for posting
Great vlog Jordan. Good to hear you had a good time, way to go breck for climbing the huge rock. Hi jah. 😊
I love Blazing Saddles! Thank you! My boyfriend's best friend, that happens to be black, can do a great "Where's the white women?" Love it!
I enjoyed this Vlog! This is one funny movie!
Congratulations Daze with Jordan the Lion, well deserved, your one hell of a guy. :) Very talented!!!!!!
I absolutely love all of Mel Brooks movies, and Blazing Saddle is just great. Like you, I watched this movies at a young age and laughed all the way through it. Thanks for sharing the filming location. I am also a huge fan of Star Trek, and that was an unexpected bonus!
Also in the movie "Werewolf of London" 1935
That was a really cool tour of a fun movie! Thanks!
All I can say is great great vlog. Loved Cleavon Litttlle. Mel Brooks awesome. Share Jordan s vlogs, and this guy need needs 100K. Thumbs up........
I so love that movie, and so did two people I USED to know, but they laughed because they were racist, and definitely did NOT get the point. That's so funny about them breaking the "fourth wall", like when Harvey Korman is supposedly by himself talking about some plot point, waits a beat, stares into camera and says, "And why am I talking to you?" That and the scene where Harvey and Mel are angry at each other and suddenly stand face-to-face and start growling...both scenes never fail to crack me up! Did Mr. Show film their parody of "Jesus Christ Superstar" there? I've watched that show w/commentary and David Cross talks about what a hard climb that was, and that he almost fell off! Jah may have been happy to see you earlier, but his eyes looked so sad in the video---maybe he knew you would be going away again. Poor pup. Thanks for another fab vlog!
Not offended one bit!!! My parents saw the movie in the theater and I became hooked.🤣🤣🤣🤣Still not offended. Hey, where are the white women at?!🤷🏽♀️😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😂😂Holy crap that’s funny!!
I LOVE Blazing Saddles! So hysterical and brilliant! “We don’t need no stinking badges!!!”
This is great...LOVED the movie...Thanks Jordan and Brent 😎😎😎
I just watched Blazing Saddles and Stir Crazy starring Gene Wilder. Even though he’s gone, I still like watching his films.
Already know it's gonna be a great one so commenting before watching lol.. again commenting so you know I was here!
THAT'S HEDLEY! Hedey Lamarr actually sued the producers for messing with her name. In classic Mel Brooks fashion he told the producers, "Pay her. Just pay her." I love it.
I will have to rewatch Blazing Saddles, it has been a number of years since I watched it!! Thanks!! And of course it is good to see your Jah!!
Expecting to see the FARTING SCENE, PRICELESS.. THANKS TO BRECK N JORDAN AND JAHSTER. All love to u n my baby..
AND.. video was epic! Love how you chose to show us an aspect of Vasquez Rocks that has yet to be shown by everyone else, amazing! To be totally honest I never even noticed the location in the movie before.. Thanks Jordan!
My sister worked at a movie theater in the town that I grew up in I was 13 years old when I first saw that movie man I was cracking up !! The sheriff is coming and he's a ( sound of the Bell!)! 😃🤣 Great vlog!!
Even a stone would roll aroun lol..ing watchin Blazing Saddles. Gene Wilder "FUNI AZ" DUDE.
Vasquez Rocks, also one of the hiding spots of bandido Tiburcio Vasquez. Hero or villain? Remember the controversy of naming a school after him.
Rodney Allen Rippy,a child star of Jack in the Box commercials in the '70s, has a cameo in "Blazing Saddles".He also lived across the street from me on Delta Ave. in Long Beach, Ca. during the 1970s.
Can't remember, who gave the best description of "Blazing Saddles", as the movie that took racism & gave it a bloody nose. Couldn't agree more with that analysis. Really, racists & bigots were portrayed as lacking two cells up in their cranium to rub together.
Will do, Jordan. Am researching the namesake, Tuburcio Vasquez. Hero or villain? So much like our own colorful characters from Texas history.
I’ve never been able to verify, but I’m about 90% certain that segments of the Tibet scenes in WEREWOLF OF LONDON where Henry Hull is searching for the rare flower were filmed there as well. And of course the STAR TREK scenes in ARENA weren’t the only scenes they filmed there. Like you said, the other TREK series also filmed there, but the original series came back for scenes in all three seasons. It was almost a cliche. I learned as a kid to identify the area by watching STAR TREK
Thank you for your channel. I am surprised you don't have a larger following with so many boomers who love movie trivia and recognizable locations in movies and tv. I made the pilgrimage to Devil's Tower, Wyoming with my mother in the '90's to see the location for "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
A little envious jk glad you got to strut your stuff with a superstar cast. Had live at budokan when I was a kid surrender great track. Coolest birthday cake but forgot age.lol. Mel Brooks has a talent for exposing the idiocy of prejudice. Hilarious movie. Go Breck!!! He should've took a cam,oh well. Great perspective shots cinematic genius once again. Jah!
Thanks Jordan. Really enjoyed this one. Blazing Saddles is one of my all time favorites.
Morning Jordan, really great and funny movie, like the rest of Mel Brook's collection. Have a great day!
Nice video! But the pic of JD was snapped on Ventura blvd in Sherman Oaks earlier in the day.
Good to see you and Jah together again! I had such an awesome time on this trip. Never got to see Blazing Saddles. Breck is one brave man! Whoa, is all I can say. 💪😯
Thanks Jordan! ❤
One of the first movies I ever saw. 4 years old, in my pjs, at the Drive Inn. Mom and dad took us to the movies. I doubt I made it through the entire film before I fell asleep but I definitely remember the fart scene. Great memories.
That's awesome that you got to sing with the band and go to the afterparty. Loved the cake. Another stellar video Jordan.
Thanks Jordan-Blazing Saddles is one of my favorite movies. Couldn't imagine anyone other than Clevon Little as sheriff Bart! My teenage daughter just watched it for the first time and she's still quoting the movie. Lol.
The guy selling the lens seems like a good dude though. Even sent you old camera in case you might have a use for it and sounds like a no hassle return. Good to hear because there are so many negative stories out there for online purchases.
My wife works for a bank. Many bank customers come in looking for help with stop payments etc due to bad online transactions.
“The William J. Le Petomane tollway?? Someone go back and get a shitload of dimes.”
When my grandpa used to truck along that way he used to give jack ranch some broccoli for a free meal
Love some blazing saddles. Everyone played their part
The Greta Van Fleet video When the Curtain Falls was filmed there as well...
It was satire on the way movies and Hollywood was back in the day.
Holy shit do they really censor Blazing Saddles on US TV?
Great video! My parents have on it vhs lol. Blazing Saddles is great movie!
I remember seeing those old ugly oil rigs as a little kid in the late 60’s! 🤭They reminded me of huge insects! 😩
Love your videos man. You should do a video or series of videos on The Office film locations.
HELLOOO JORDAN!!!!
Great Vlog! Thanks and a big cuddle for Jah ♥
A great rock band backing YOU up, that's one off the old bucket list. I've loved Mel Brooks since the old days of Ed Sulivan, he's a genius. Thanks man, that was a typically good blog.
Greta Van Fleet shot their "When the curtain Falls" video there too
What a cool place... thanks for sharing!
brilliant Jordan yet again and well narrated !!!!!!!!
Thanks for the great tour I enjoy it
Brilliant vlog as always. The work that goes into these unbelievable. Xx
Very kind of you!
Awesome! I loved Blazing Saddles amidst its controversy 😉☺️ but I always knew how the movie really was meant! My husband is black and he sees it for what is was- comedy ! But maybe it’s because we are both thick skinned! Well- seeing Jah today again was special- my husbands and my 26 Th wedding anniversary- seeing that cute Jah face made it even better!
Thanks to Breck as well! 🙋🏻✌🏼
I feel like, if anything, it made white people look bad, or ignorant, but i totally support comedic minds taking chances to make controversial subjects for good reasons.
Love blazing saddles:)
Wondering if the shot scenes from star trek generations movie there
No, that was a different park in Nevada.
Well there's that one ! 👍❤🍀
Great message Jordan...👈
How they act of alll scenes
My favorite scene was the fake toll gate in the middle of nowhere. Somebody has to go back and get a shitload of dimes, LMAO
I love that one too
I couldn't imagine Blazing Saddles as a different movie? I honestly believe it would've never gotten The Classic Film status it is today. Thank You Mel Brooks!
Just read that the opening scene of the Lone Ranger (TV series) was also shot at Vasquez Rocks.
No it wasnt. It was at the garden of the gods in chatsworth. I already vlogged it
How long is the hike up there
Great vlog Jordan
😃👍 super
Love this movie
Awesome job!
I have an untouched (uncensored) DVD of this film...anytime I get low I throw on the DVD and my spirits rise...another great upload...thanks....
