My first Grady Hendrix book was Southern Book Club a few years ago, and now I’m on My Best Friend’s Exorcism. Absolutely love his writing style! Mexican Gothic was one of my faves in this kind of genre too!
I love to see White Smoke on here, it's also one of the few books that actually really truly creeped me out! I will now be making a mega ton of requests at my library...
I'm half-way through my first CJ Cooke, The Book of Witching, and am loving it. Also, I'm almost half-way through We Used to Live Here and am liking it.
I really want to start grady Hendrix. I absolutely loved last house on Needless Street, it was so unnerving. I also really enjoyed stolen Tongues, it is very creepy and has a very creepy parrot in it, highly recommend
Loved this video! Just read White Smoke last month after buying it because of one of your video's (I think last year). Absolutely loved it and immediately bought another one of Tiffany's books. The Nesting is also still on my bookshelf and I'm also looking forward to reading The Woman in Black by Susan Hill. So many good books to read this spooky season! 🤯
Living for all the times Grady Hendrix was mentioned haha! He's one of my fave authors, I just love his books! The Last House on Needless Street was such a good book loved it!! Uzumaki is so good! I love Junji Ito!! I need to get my hands on We Used To Live Here because everyone is talking about it and it just sounds so good!
Horrorstör was the most relatable, Grady Hendrix book for me because I’ve worked in retail and it is hell. Luckily I’ve been out of that since Covid although I would consider my own bookstore or gift shop as well or combination of both that would be fun. It’s better to be your own boss.
that was my fave by him so far. still need to read We Sold Our Souls and Final Girl Support Group (oh and his novella Badasstronauts) not interested in How to Sell a Haunted House though.
Best wishes with what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories.

Sour candy is what got me back into reading honestly. So short but so good
You're not supposed to die tonight is amazing! Great plot, brilliant ideas, and the ending...
I’m thrilled to find someone else who appreciates this book! I loved it but I see so many people saying they were bored.

Imaginary Friends is one of my favorite books of all time. I've recommended it to so many friends, and definitely given a few nightmares from it

Great recs! I love all the Grady and Kings mentioned as well as Sour Candy, Uzumaki and You’re not supposed to die tonight.
Trying to dip my toes into horror since I’m a big ol’ scaredy cat 😂
I don't usually read horror but this video has given me some ideas to pick up and try!!
I would recommend Luckenbooth, if you haven't already read it. Fantastic book!!
We Used To Live Here properly gave me the creeps, and for a lot of the book!
The tv series The Haunting of Hill House was spooky and I loved it even though I don't like horror.
Love your videos ❤
Do you have any book tracking apps like storygraph?
I read The Amityville Horror many, many years ago and I thought it was terrifying.
I watched the mini series of The Haunting of Hill House, very spooky
I loved horrorstor❤😂🎉

Beth have you ever watched any of the American Horror Show? They’re weird but good
Reading heard it in a love song by Tracey garvis Graves while watching your video.
I read southern book club a few months ago and I’m still not sure if I liked it or not lol
