“It’s not dead, so I’m happy about that” lol
lol
Reminds me of the tomato plant that was growing in a concrete crack next to a food truck, being watered solely by their AirCon water run off. It was the most lush tomato plant I had seen in a while and put my potted well taken care of tomato plant to shame lol
Nature is incredible and always finds a way lol
potted plants: the pH is too high! i’m going to die 😔
concrete plants: yeah concrete 😎
Well done, and since I'm guessing, that's one of the floral anthuriums. It would be cool to see what color it blooms. My guess is that it'll be a red dark color. I've worked in plant stores on and off my whole life, and in my experience, the ones with the darker imerging leaves usually have a darker inflorescence.🤞
Ill have to do an update when it flowers!
This was so satisfying! great find! it may be a chocolate anthurium with those burgundy leaves. i have one :) theyre beautiful!
oh nice maybe! I forgot about those!
That was a nice plant! I'm glad you noticed it and rescued it!💚 The video of your "rescue" of the "homeless" plant was funny 😅 Keep up the good work!💚🪴
The red emergent leaves are so pretty ❤
yeah the color is so satisfying
Good on you I think the plants that are neglected tend to do the best for you I like to think it's their way of thanking you.
Great job! Looks amazing with the new burgundy leaves. I love rehabilitating plants! It feels so rewarding bringing struggling plants back to life and happy after being mistreated. 💜🌱🌿Adopt plants!🪴🍀❤
Grrr, i really wish people wouldnt do this with their plants. Depending on the plant and the area where its abandoned at, it could potentially become an invasive species, and subsequently potentially banned. :(
Though I do admit the odds are low in a case like this one. Still, it very much is akin to littering...which is also very annoying lol.
Great save, by the way! 😊
I shudder to think of all the plants i could have saved by propagation and more problem solving. Great job❤
classic entertaining techplant video! thanks for sharing
I love these kinds of videos
You can sanitize that rotting mix in the oven
Or the microwave, boiling water, hydrogen peroxide, and the sun outside. Anything that'll get it to 180F.
Yea h2O2 can sterilize tge mix without importing the plant. Just soak it with h2o2 then run ample water thru it and it’ll likely be ok… it’ll kill your good microbes too but good one don’t rot your plants
Nice to see you getting into rescuing plants! Fun video!
Hi there, Techplant ,it's going to look so beautiful as it sizes up.
Nice to see you getting into rescuing plants! Fun video! 👍
Happens all the time in Wisconsin.
yeap, I should just drive around more often in the fall on the hunt lol
This was really fun to see, thanks!
great find!
Beautiful. I’m glad you gave us updates.
Love these kinds of rehabbing videos!
they are fun to see the start and finish
Nice find
Love this video concept
Nice save!
It was stressed, because it was kicked out 😢
Was that a little snake on the surface when you put it in the car?
a very large root
Just came across this channel I think you’d find interesting techplant. You may already be familiar with it but just in case you aren’t it’s called AntsCanada . All about a giant vivarium eco system, very interesting.
I love Mikey. He can be a bit dramatic at times, but it's funny and he has a great channel. Im excited to see what he does to expand the already giant Pantdora vivarium.
@@Alexander_Evans I’ve only just seen an episode from a few months ago so I have some catching up to do. But I’m really loving techplant as it’s nice to have a channel that’s a bit different plant wise
Your "current date" says 2023!
Do antheriums like to be misted/sprayed with water? I just aquired my 1st and am learning.
9/10 misting is just a myth
Welcome to the wild side!😄💚🌱 They do but an humidifier would be a great investment for it. Especially for the more rare ones.
There’s another lady I follow who finds. Plants by the garbage all the time but she lives in Lithuania
Firefly In The Room is her channel 😊
Luck. 🍀 lol good luck 🍀
All cap,or maybe you put it there and acting like you just happened to find this plant in the gutter 😂W B please
lmaooo
👀🍴👀🍴👀🍴👀🍴👀🍴👀🍴👀🍴
NOOOO PLEASE DON'T
Maybe they didn’t know what to do.
Neat but "nursed it back to health" kind of a stretch, the plat was fine, you basically just adopted it which is good too.
Ieam the top had rotted
I'm a national HERO! I suppose it's not that dramatic but if it was left outside it would have perished. But yeah luckily it was in decent shape so it wasn't to hard to grow
