  • This customer wanting his wife sewing machine to sew properly he had an issue with tension so I told him it may need a deep cleaning and adjustment ‪@JacquelineJaroffaith‬ It needed a new battery, a light bulb, and a new needle. I am happy to say it's sewing so beautifully. I am so happy 😊 I got another sewing machine working properly.

Thank you for your awesome tutorial! I just bought my Pfaff 1471 yesterday! The seller doesn’t sew. She said the machine belonged to her mother. She sold it to me for $150 bc she wanted it to go to a good home. I am so excited! I drove 6 hours round trip to pick it up. It’s in a super heavy duty cabinet with 4 drawers, to boot! And it has manuals!!!
I’m so excited to clean it up and start sewing with it.
Before Christmas, a friend asked if I would look at her vintage Pfaff as it wasn’t sewing right. I cleaned all the old thread and dust bunnies out, sewed with the machine, and instantly fell in love with vintage Pfaffs!
Then I PRICED them! Holy moly. I thought I was gonna hafta sell a kidney if I ever wanted one.
I told my friend that if I’d had ANY idea how expensive her machine IS that I probably wouldn’t have had the guts to WORK on it!😂
Anyway, all of that to say, I really appreciate your tutorial on my new baby!

Pfaff in Baden, Germany, only made industrials for a long time. So when they finally began making domestics, they knew what they were doing!
