    Good overview! I am a garment sewer and have the Pfaff 630. It is a joy to use and makes beautiful buttonholes. The Pfaff IDT cannot be beat. I chose the 630 because I like the touch screen and am so used to using it on my phone and iPad.

      I had wanted to purchase this machine for garment sewing until I read some negative reviews about the delayed backstitching. Have you found that to be a problem? Thanks for any information on this.

      @@bodyandsoul17 No problem for me. After you have sewn on it a few times, you just get used to the way it works-they are all a bit different. I think that is common on computerized machines. I think it is a great machine (I also have a Pfaff 7570). I use the automatic start button for bobbin winding, buttonholes, sewing on buttons, and that type of sewing. Normal sewing I use my foot control. Stitch Mastery and as great series on how to use this machine (I bought my during the lockdown and looked at their videos). Short, detailed videos.

    Hello -- does anyone know of a really narrow foot that can be used on the Pfaff? I had an old fashioned, super narrow zipper foot on my Mom's Bernina but, because of the IDF, the regular zipper and invisible zipper feet on the Pfaff are wider. Usually the IDF is such a help, but I'd love to find a way to use a very narrow foot when I'm mending.

    ‘Thank you for the exceptional demonstration. I recently purchased a second-hand Ambition 620, but it was missing a manual and couple of presser feet. Can I purchase a manual? I have been sewing for more than 60 years, and love the Pfaff built-in “walking foot - the reason I chose the Pfaff. Kathleen in Canada

    Could you stitch a label for a quilt without having to stitch in one long row. I have the 620

    Can you get a scant 1/4” with the 1/4” foot on the 630 easily?

    Thankyou for that - was the ambition 610 a sequel to the ambition essential?

    Hello! Thanks for the overview. Pfaff has a new entry into Ambition gamme - Creative Ambition 640. Would you have this one as well? Is it worth investing?

      Yes it is here www.sewessential.co.uk/pfaff-creative-ambition-640-sewing-and-embroidery-machine the one you mention is the new sewing and embroidery machine combined whereas the ones I shared were just sewing machines. Absolutely worth the investment, you've seen the sewing machine capabilities in my video and this has embroidery capabilities too. Pfaff embroidery machines are always outstanding too. There are so many features on this new machine, if you would like an in depth chat with one of our experts drop us an email to sales@sewessential.co.uk

      Ask someone who knows about sewing who also knows your mom. send them this video call me and they might know whether certain features will be especially desirable to your mom. I think they all do amazing things, but someone who sews is going to know The right questions to ask and to be able to casually ask them and get away with it. And maybe all three are so amazing that there isn’t any one thing that she would care about. Plus, something else might be important to her: find out whether she cares about having her machine look nice and whatever space she likes to sew in. If she likes neutral colors, she may not want a bright blue or a bright purple sticking out like a sore thumb.

    I have the Pfaff Passport 2 that I take to my sewing guild days and retreats and the Pfaff Ambition 630 at home. I love them and have owned Pfaff machines since 1982. I love on my Ambition 630 that I have the alphabet and numbers but I can't remember how to make it do just one sequence then stop. Do you just press the heart button and it will sew just once your chosen sequence?

      @vwtrainer 2 роки тому

      Press the button just below the needle up/down, and the press the reverse button, then sew. It will stop after one repeat. Use this technique with a straight stitch to lock the start of a seam too.
