I had this Cadillac Escalade come in for some paintless dent repair. It appeared that the damage to the door edge was caused by another car bumping into the door causing the edge of the door to be bent in and a slight soft crease near the edge.

I was able to use the Edge Jack PDR Tool to cleanly and precisely restore the bend in this door edge. I used this with a combination of other Paintless Dent Tools including hammers, knockdowns and also a PDR tool called a whale tail tool.
This method of car door edge repair produces a clean repair on the outside of the door and also the inside door edge.

Wish you were in Portland, Oregon. The PDR guy I used dosen't have that tool....he said he was scared to damage the seem....

+Hello Thereu Sorry. I don’t plan on being out that way.
Maybe see if you can find another Pdr tech that can repair your dent. Or just send them over to this video to show them the tool they need to do it.

Thanks for watching. I’ve repaired many panel edges with this method. They all can be different and some can be repaired faster and others like this one can take a few hours.
I’d guess the cost to repair these can run from $150-$350. All depending on how bad the damage is.
