I love how the creators use so many original characters and change some aspect of it, but I also love the fact that, in the very first episode, they wrote a character for a short effect, to show how social incapable Sherlock was, but they liked how the actress played Molly and decided to keep her in and let that character develop. So happy you enjoy this series so much. The 'special one' is one you indeed need to watch, it's very special indeed.
Yeah... Magnussen isn't meant to be a good villain: he's meant to make your skin crawl. FYI in the story this is based on, Magnussen really was killed by a female intruder while John and Sherlock were breaking in to steal some blackmail material. Sherlock not only decides not to pursue her, but he burns as much of the remaining material as he can after she leaves.
If you are noticing little details as you watch, you might want to go back and rewatch searching for them again. Example: "...the knocker. He always corrects it." Was the knocker always corrected when Mycroft was there? How about the skull on the mantle? Keep your eyes peeled for details in The Abominable Bride... Also, has anyone mentioned that not only are the Holmes parents Benedict's real parents, but Amanda Abbington (Mary) is the real life partner of Martin Freeman (Watson)?
@@carolinemanuel8540 It's a streamlined crime series loosely based on Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock had a more serious drug problem and moved to New York. It's set in the current year and we have a Joan Watson who tries to get him back on track. But there is enough Sherlock in it to keep it entertaining (for me at least).
The Abominable Bride does sort of lead into the last series but mostly doesn't, it's a movie but you don't get the tie in until the end, worth watching though.
I know you've already watched Modern Family and love it, buy I'd love to see you react to the whole series! Normally I don't like when people do reactions to things they already know well, but I think you commenting on Modern Family, especially Gloria and Cam, would be so so so fun!
@@EllieroseReacts Hey hey, I'm not hating, just saying that it could have been on someone's recommended videos on their youtube home page. Don't need to watch your video to read the title xxx
21:33 Sherlock Holmes calls himself a high functioning Sociopath. Yet it isn't true. He cares about Mrs Hudson, Watson, Mary, and Mycroft. He threw a man out a window for putting his hands on Mrs Hudson. A real Sociopath wouldn't care enough to.
Yes, I think really the point is that it's a lie he told himself during the majority of his life when he had no one he was close to. An erroneous self-diagnosis that made it even easier to accept that how things were was natural for him. S3 is absolutely all about him confronting the reality that he does care about people above himself.
I love this episode so much I always cringe and skip the face flicking though lol it's far too much. Abominable bride is a fun one. I didn't care much for it on a first watch but I love it now
The actors playing Sherlock's and Mycroft's parents are actually Benedict Cumberbatch's parents.
And the boy who played young Sherlock is Steven Moffat's son
Sherlock hiding the smoke and “was MYCROFT!”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We had to wait for 3 (three) ! years for the conclusion of Moriarty's return!
THREE! 👿

You know how those are 'Sherlock's real life parents... 'Mary' is also John's real life wife!
*was
@@Whiskypapa Nooooo serious?! They break up? Explains why 'John' is hooking up with 'Wednesday' 😄
We also had Mark Gatiss (Mycroft) real life husband in 'The Reichenbach Fall' (only a small role) and Steven Moffat's son playing young Sherlock.
@@channyh.221B Mycroft is also the creator of the show!
@@rizzyknows I know, I have BBC Sherlock 'The Casebook' from 2012. I was so deep in this show (still love it, one of my favourites)
I loved Lars Mikkelsen’s performance in this as Magnussen. I swear him and his brother (Mads) make the best Hollywood villains.
Stregobor or Grand Admiral Thrawn?
it took me so long to realize they're brothers. both are such amazing actors!!

Moffat does love his Easter eggs; there are at least two references to Moffat’s run on Doctor Who in this. :)
I'm just saying every episode of the last series gonna be crazy
Just as I finished the previous video this own drops

Great Reaction Ellie,
You shouldn't have to tell people, "This isn't a market substitute"
Ty for upload:) Youre amazing
Another amazing show you could react to is NBC's Hannibal! It is fairly long, but a really good watch nonetheless ♡♡
Season four has a few surprises in store. 🎁🎀🤓👀🤫🤐
Seeing you enjoy Sherlock so much makes me wonder if people recommended "Elementary" to you.
What is it about?
@@carolinemanuel8540 It's a re-telling of Sherlock Holmes in a modern setting with a lot of changes, but still has the Holmes vibe.

Love your reactions, but maybe don't put spoilers in the title for those who haven't yet discovered the delights of Sherlock? Please and thank you xxx

Bruhhhhhhhhhhhh we dont care about this crap give us the Lucifer finale. This shit is cringe
Some people do care about this though. If you don't want to watch it that's fine, but please don't tell creators what they can and can't upload 😊
I think the views prove that people care more about this crap than Lucifer.
