As others have said, Tom Ellis is absolutely perfect in this role. The whole cast is great, but I don't know if any other actor could have made us absolutely fall in love with Lucifer the way he has done. I definitely think this is worth watching the full series, whether you do it as a reaction series or just for your own personal entertainment. Either way, it is a fantastic ride.
@@89Keith Bowie could pull of Lucifer from the comics, but this character and story are so different to the comics that I honestly don't think Bowie could pull off this Lucifer
I think the entire cast is perfectly suited. They could easily have found the wrong woman to play Chloe but Lauren German plays her very well: walking the fine line between love and her police job. After all, that's part of the appeal of the show and why it's kept me hooked.
What you see in the first episode will have echoes all the way near the end. The writer's had a great eye for detail. The last two seasons are a ride that will rip your heart out and give you hope at the same time. Honestly one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.
Watching the Pilot again, and realizing where Amenadiel and Dan and Maze end up as characters, is astounding, because the writers don’t hit you over the head with it, the growth comes organically.
Welcome to Lucifer! It's a terrific show. Stick with it, and you'll really enjoy it. You're right about Lucifer in this show. He is not evil. He punishes evil. I've seen Tom Ellis in Miranda, too. Completely different. He really gets to show his acting chops in this show, and he has incredible range as an actor. Also, an amazingly talented cast.
Lucifer is an absolutely brilliant show - it's six series were pure gold. The casting helped make this show perfect - the leads really nailed this show; every season's big bad was just ideally chosen and executed and every characters' growth arc in these series was perfectly pitched. It really is worth watching the lot...oh and the use of the therapist in this show is simply stunningly awesome!

Lusifer depicts a man that dont care how you think he should behave. He is not toxic in any way, he is kind and honest, maby it is the honesty you have a problem with. Fake people usually consider honest people toxic.
