@@kelkayla thank you so much, you can get lost doing collage for sure, I find it best to use odd numbers of items on the page like 3 or 5, then add paint splatters or stamping to bring it together, also you could try using a smaller substrate like a postcard or even a business card to start with so it’s not so overwhelming, then once completed, stick that in to your journal - good luck & thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment too ❤️

@@fyrtalker hi, I think in the journaling world it’s called slow-stitch because you slow down to do it and it’s very random, no traditional embroidery pattern is followed! You’ll see it a lot where the stitching on some hand-made journals is very random and all over the art, hope that helps?
