What Lies Beneath Altered Book Art Journal Tutorial

A new page in this Altered Book Art Journal. I've lived close by a river all my life and I always think under the water is a magical place!
In this page I used:
Distress Ink Pads (Rustic Wilderness, Bundled Sage, Rusty Hinge, Stormy Sky, Unchartered Marina, Peacock Feather, Vintage Photo)
Distress Mica Spray (Tarnished Brass)
Versamark embossing ink
Stampendous embossing powder (Detail White)
Ranger embossing powder (Clear)
Inktense pencil

I don't understand why you use distress ink pads? perhaps its just because you have them available and need to use them up. i like the idea of using the linen dentist plug as a texture.

Please tell me what kind of material or paper that was you glued down onto the pages? And did you use glue or what to make it stick? Your artwork is lovely!

thank you 💜 The material I used was a gauze that the dentist gave me after I'd had a tooth out, lol 😂 Hopefully you won't need that but I'm sure you can buy a small roll of gauze from a pharmacy
