Love it in black. Especially how it hides those blank spots on the front bumper where the fog lights should be. Disappointed that they got rid of them. So true about needing ambient interior lighting. Sharp car! I have a 2019 Altima SV. Love it!
Everybody look out and drive defensively! Its an Altima driver on the loose!😱😉 It does look good in black and really, I havent' seen anyone driving crazy in a Gen 6 Altima.
Great thorough review! Love the refresh of the altima especially the front end, Interior is good too. Might check one out to replace my 19 year old civic.
I bought one today and just came back from the dealer a couple of hours ago. I almost went for the Accord with it's 47mpg Hybrid model but the Altima just has so much more style to it and seemed like the best buy for the money even with a little less miles per gallon. Not sure if the Accord will grow on people but it sure didnt excite me with their new look.
the accord is more expensive, but it will hold its resale better than the altima. it has a more conservative style which I think will age better too. i’m biased, i am a honda guy. but we also had an altima SR as a rental which I enjoyed driving.
thanks, man for your excellent review. I just wish Nissan keep that CVT limited on their products because I do really like their exterior and interior designs and the V6 engine from Nissan is awesome. if they just keep that CVT limited on certain trims. I would definitely be getting Altima or the sexy Maxima
Good MPGs and reasonable entry price for a rental car feel. However, the 10 gen Accord is a more premium competitor and the easy choice for me in this segment.
What's up g.p?happy new year 💥great reviews as always looking for to all your reviews this year, bummed nissan axed the maxima but i can see why the altima would canibalize sales now's the time to make the altima a flagship sedan.it's a nice car rival camry and accord just needs some refinements but a strong presence for 2023.
Hey Sir, First of all wanted to say I love your videos even when Im not in the market for new vehicle. I have a question, hoping that you will be able to help me with a answer. I am a full time 'RIDE-SHARE' and am currently driving my 2016 Altima SL that I purchased brand new for work and it currently has 406,492 miles on it. Mt new car is going to be another Altima but I can't decide to go with a SL or SR. I love the colors that are available with the SR but I know it has "sport suspension" and I am tryin to see from you if the "sport suspension" on the SR would be different from the SL. I drive 10-12 hours a day Im cruise if it would beat up my back from being so hard or is there not really that much of a differencein the suspension and ride quality? Thanks so much and keep up the amazing videos!
Design wise, I like it, but having a CVT prevents me from pulling the trigger. Was at the dealer today and they had a black SR and I thought it looked great. Just wish Nissan would do away with CVT with all their models.
Do you love it? I have a 21 Maxima SR and I love how buttoned to the ground it is, but if and when I do trade it in, I was definitely considering the model you have. How's the power and the mpg? I have heavy foot and need my passing power. And how much did you get yours for out the door?
@@Kyzzle112718 good question considering they now putting the same amount of technology into the Altima and the turbo model Altima gives the Maxima a hard time but I fault Nissan for that because Maxima originally started out as the faster car
Idling cars to "warm it up" isn't good on the engine. And ruin's your MPG. Car should only take about 2 miles to warm up. Which is way faster than it sitting wasting gas. i understand if you need it it clean the windows. But, just a cold day its kind of silly and unnecessary.
looks like they killed the fog lights on the Altima as well. like my 23 Versa SR, No fog lights. just these blacked out fake vents that serve no purpose. doesn't make sense cus the 2022 Altimas and Versas had them, but non existent on 2023s for some reason. but weird thing is, on the Versas, the Mexico and Canadian versions DO get fog lights! like WTF, why not the U.S. models?
Nissans biggest short coming with these new Gen altimas has been the lack of LED lighting in the rear. Absolutely insane to me. Even brands like Hyundai have had these featured in higher trims since 2012… pathetic really
The car manufacturers are disgrace. If you want turn signals on your rear-view side mirrors, they force you do go up to, and the more expensive SL trim. Nissan just lost a customer! I will wait for the 2024 Hyundai Senata.
Just way underpowered The old SE-R with the VQ35 was the Altima to own. 6 speed manual and limited slip. I drive a Maxima and am bummed they are doing away with it. I had hoped they would ditch the CVT and adopt the Infinity power plant options.
Because for many households that already have an SUV, a sedan is a more economical choice as a second daily commuter car. In-city commuter cars do not need the extra power. Moreover, it is well known that turbo engines are generally much less reliable.
Love it in black. Especially how it hides those blank spots on the front bumper where the fog lights should be. Disappointed that they got rid of them. So true about needing ambient interior lighting. Sharp car! I have a 2019 Altima SV. Love it!
Ive always been a big fan of the newest latest altimas it just looks sharp great review my dude👍
Me too
I build them
Everybody look out and drive defensively! Its an Altima driver on the loose!😱😉 It does look good in black and really, I havent' seen anyone driving crazy in a Gen 6 Altima.
😂😂😂 have to agree I see Altimas being driven harder than sports car drivers I never see 370z being driven hard on the highway
I absolutely love my 2019 Altima . Don’t see the need to trade for this one with only a little upgrades from the one I have now . Love the review.
I just traded my 19 for the 23… the screen bigger and I like… and I was able to get the sunroof like I had in the 19
@@11fjfj11 cool, do you have the sr package ? I like how the grill looks on the 2023 model .
@@11fjfj11how did your 19 and 23 altima cars hold up over time?
Beautiful looking, especially in the Black color. Sleek and sophisticated looking.
5.8 sec 0-60 in a stock Altima is really good
152 mph too 😅 and I’ve done 0-60 in 5.4
the sports sedan in its class since 1993 with the ka24 then the vq35 now the kr20

How is it holding up after a year of owning it?
Good timing for this video. I've been looking at these. Really comfy seats and no stop/start.
Made in Canton Ms.
Just bought mine, got the SV Platinum. I'm in love.
Nissan has the power to give us the design like the bugatti or rolls
Best looking in it's class

Good review & great Nissan.
I am planning on afford one of them also!

Still a good first car for me to drive one bro.
I own a 2019 altima sr and love it, but I would buy a 2023 if it had a 400 hp motor. The 2019 handling is impressive, steering response great as well.
I seen a black one today and that's why I'm on here it was the Platinum

Great informative review 👍 I have a red 2019 awd SL and get 31 mpg, I have the ambient interior lighting with 20 colors...🚗
Nice ride 🥰 ❤❤ love it in black - Batmobile -
Perfect sedan nissan
Love it. Very nice car.

Wonder if this one will end up in a Big Altima Energy owner lol
total BAE lol
2023 Nissan Altima SR!

would love to get it but im really concerned about the cvt..
What did you get?
The taillights are not LED ?
Not yet for whatever reason. 🤷♂️
What is the point of paddle shifters in a CVT?
Up & down hills
I wonder if they fixed that slipping Transmission problem notorious on the cheap Altima's posted for sale.
Got it right only thing no LED taillights other that love the car minor changes wish had 9 speed automatic still satisfied with CVT.
I got a Pearl white 2023 2.0 SR TURBO model with platinum package

Final thought ; Nissans reliability CVTs even now is Questionable . Consumer Reports . It’s a beautiful design .
The taillights would've look better with LED lights imo
We build them at my plant.

I really don’t get Nissan. Their turn signals are unnecessarily loud but they have that dinky horn.
🙏

They havnt made those since 2006. Move on.
why does everyone keep reviewing the non-turbo model.? ugh

Accord is still better ❤

That was a very nice review and to the point. 🙌🏾
