@@GodKing804 if you can find the edmunds article then that's good but when I went to edmunds it seems like I can't find any of the previous comparisons on there for some reason like they erased the whole website. Odd...
Unfortunately, the Altima SR does NOT have AUTO BRAKE HOLD. In order to get this item, which is very important to many drivers, Nissan forces buyers to either purchase the VC turbo motor, which is $3,000 to $4000 dollars more expensive, or move up to the SL model.
why is there no rear spoiler? all VC Turbos come with a spoiler. unless you're able to do a spoiler delete, but who would do that? looking at Nissan's builder, there's no option to add, or delete the rear spoiler, it just comes factory
He probably drives the $100,000+ BMW’s personally so he is used to those nicer materials like I am. It’s hard to adjust to the cheap plastics when getting into mainstream automobiles. We get very spoiled.
Why are you comparing the V6 CAMRY with these 4 cylinders when Toyota has a 4cyl Camry which is the most popular Camry that is on the road! I do agree NISSAN should have offered this SR in a AWD version but up the horsepower till 300hp ish.
So this one is the SR and has a different engine. It's a 2.0L turbo 4cyl with variable compression. In 2023 they also facelifted the front end. Interior has a bigger screen. They use red/orange on this trim level and you can't get it optioned without it
Don't see why anyone would buy this over the competition.. over complicated/ engine with the VC turbo, no full LED lights, no panoramic sunroof, no ventilated seats, no digital Guage cluster, no heads up display, no heated rear seats, and no automatic or manual transmissions,🤷♂️
The 2023 camry is a tin can on wheels, it sucks! I have a 23 camry and the hood moves when you drive on the freeway..ever have a new car where you can see the hood moving when driving? Yea me either. And the accord, that is ugly as hell and looks like the size of an Elantra. Tryin to get rid of my camry, sad that thats what the body gas come to the 4th to 5th year in.
I do agree with you, just shutting the doors you can hear the Camry is well not solid built. The Sonata has that thuck sound when you close the doors like an expensive car.
It's slick. It always catches my eye when I see it on the streets. The sentra sr is also very nice.
The old SE V6's were fun to drive too... especially when they were manuals!
I loved them. The good ole days
Camry doesn't go from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds. The altima was actually quicker than the camry when they tested both of them on the same day.
Got a link bro? Sounds interesting match up

camry 5.6 and altima 5.8
@@dmob420 not on the edmunds match-up
The Camry is still the top selling mid size sedan. The Nissan Altima is getting discontinued.

I enjoy mine. Got a fully loaded 23 and the wife loves it. Now I gotta get myself a Z.

This a very nice and comprehensive review! Good looking ride at a reasonable price. Greetings from Dallas Texas! 👏🙏
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it🙏
Seem like you expected a BMW built by Nissan. You made several points that the materials look cheap. $30,000 only goes so far these days.

Altima any day ❤

I think because this has 248hp with premium gasoline or 239 without premium, but the 248 competes with that V6 Camry.
They literally do 🤦🏽
Can't wait to see this speed past at 110mph clapped out in 2033
Good review & great Nissan.
The new accords suck. They are the ones that cannot compete with the Nissan Altima or the Subaru legacy.
Does anyone know what city or state this is filmed in? Thanks for the review!
The ones that came with a V6 and a 5 and 6 speed where fun to drive not this yes it has a turbo but it's nothing like a V6 with a stick
23:45 Altima energy unleashed example one. 25:50
the mountains look very nice covered in snow which state is this i see snow everywhere
I was wondering too: maybe Utah
is the VC engine going to be available in the new infinit models?
So they already offer a version of it on the QX50 so I imagine they'll release it on other models as well
How is the 2023 sv different from the 2019 sv Altima? One thing I never liked was the red stitching. I wonder if they have optioned without that

Does this car have a head up display?
Unfortunately no they don't offer that on the Altima

I agree but I thought he did say it had full LED headlights now. I guess I’m wrong. I’m not an Altima expert at all.
No sunroof is a big plus. Leaks, cracks, additional weight. Lets in more heat and cold.
Cause it looks better
Why doesn't the maxima have this interior
Unfortunately maxima is ending production. They aren't making a next generation at this time
Like noisy turn. Sig-u know its on.
No manual transmission?
Sadly no
CVT transmission no thanks
The CVT has tarnished Nissan reputation
Bad drivers did
Expensive trim
I have trd camry, and I would never drive a Nissan cvt.
That’s obvious. Same here. I wouldn’t drive a CVT even if I was in a Chevy Cavalier. God help me.
They gonna learn one day about them cvt's
@@travisgiles I guess not because Toyota and Honda are starting to put them in all of there cars

Worst car to buy! So many technical issues with every Altima.
YOU JUST CANT DRIVE OR MAINTENANCE SQUIRT
Stupid Nissan they did not include a fog lights with the SR model but on the SV.
People who would buy a Camry over an Altima have ugly GFs/Wives and are use to convincing themselves that looks aren’t everything.
That’s very hypocritical considering that your picking a car based on what it has than how long it will last you
No one wants chrome anymore.
Camry??? 5.1 seconds? Nope.
