YES! Faith No More are such a groundbreaking band, it's cool to see them back! FNM are one of those bands that really changed the face of music, yet never got the recognition they deserved. They are one of those bands that were so far ahead of their time that it takes 20 years for people to catch up to realizing how good they were and are. They were one of the first bands to combine rap and rock, Patton was one of the originators of screamo style vocals, they were truly an alternative band before the term 'alternative' even existed as a genre. 'The Real Thing' and 'Angel Dust' are ALL TIME CLASSIC albums that both rank in my top 20 albums of all time.
couldn t say it in a better way!!! just one thing, along with angel dust and the real thing, you ve got to add up king for a day. As unreal than the other ones! so perfect!
I agree this sounds a lot like Angel Dust, but very much like The Real Thing too. Very classic FNM sound. Please come do an extensive US tour. Do more shows than San Francisco and New York. Seeing FNM live is on my life's bucket list.
Cant believe all the hate for this video. For those of you who don't like this song i encourage you to check out the rest of the concert. They absolutely killed. I'm exited for this next album and any real FNM fan would be too.
Torcendo muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuito para vir um CD novo por aí. Com esse "padre" eu até me confessava... ai ai... Sou apaixonada pelo Mike e pelo som do FNM ;-)
This was definitely the set of the day. The first time I've seen them since 1992 I think. That makes me...old :( Zombie Eaters and From Out of Nowhere where ummm Epic lol.
I've loved FNM since From Out Of Nowhere and We Care A Lot (which makes me almost as old as them). I love Mike Patton (even if he has got rather 'portly', love his 'love handles'). Can't wait for the new album. It doesn't sound like Tomahawk (as much as I love them)....it sounds like FAITH NO MORE!!!
Im still reeling from the savage beauty and amazing energy of this set. First time I got to see them live since Angel Dust tour. Recorded a guitar cover of this in appreciation and stuck it up here. Amazing stuff and I cannot wait for the rumoured new album. FNM have returned to save the world from shitty music.
It reminds me the unreleased track from "AD" sessions (with seagulls on it), it's on "Angel Dust Sessions" documentary, around 14th minute of this 3,5 hour film. Check it out.
MrKredski ok, so going on this tip i listened and while the key sound similar and the idea that they could take roddy's "percussion" angry crowd intro and turn it into mike's new drum fill, is plausible, i don't think it's the same song, though the chorus and also, i'm thinking the Doc Song sounds closer to MotherFucker actually, this song has nothing in common in my opinion with the track in the doc, the chorus of motherfucker sounds a little like the keyboard in that tune on the doc, in as many words as it takes to express the word, duh, i tired tried
Julien Creuse Perfect? Sounds more like a story (interview) I've heard (read) before a long time ago: FNM didn't like Jim Martin's (songwriting) stuff he came up with after 'Angel Dust' because it was just more of the same (J.M.'s subsequent album 'Milk and Blood' was rubbish indeed)... this is also more of the same of what FNM did way back when (in an uninteresting way). I'm starting to think a new FNM-albm is nothing anyone needs right now (or ever)... Still, faith is a m*therf*ck*r... so I'll be very happy to be proven wrong.
SNOK! HUMPH! so don't buy it when it comes out. Me, i will purchase just about anything, musically speaking, that Mike Patton does. The man is a genius.

Well said brother!
You are so right!
couldn t say it in a better way!!! just one thing, along with angel dust and the real thing, you ve got to add up king for a day. As unreal than the other ones! so perfect!
I disagree. FNM is NOTHING without Mike Patton
Vico Max we never criticized Mike.
They still have that magical sound.
This makes me soooooo happy. Squeeeeeee!
Yes, squeee. A sound of childish delight.
I never said children make that sound. It's a childish sound. LET ME ENJOY THE MOMENT!
I, sir, will second that squee.

I'm so happy they have kept their great sound and haven't changed! I love this new song :)
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome!!!
AMAZING!
That's Faith no More, that's what we want to see!!!
Reverend Patton
If this is any indication to the sound of their hypothetical new album, excited doesn't even come close to how I feel about that.
LOVE THIS SO MUCH cant wait for FNM to start releasing more news.... eyes like a stalker since 2009 much love
Nice solid track. I can't wait for this album !!!
Ecstatic!!!!!!!!!!!

Faith No More invented the 90s before the 90s rolled around. Such an influence. The most amazing band after the Ramones, and before Nirvana.

Ain't no grave gonna hold this body down
Waiting for new FNM album too long. This makes me happy :)

Can't wait for the US tour '15....major road trips will be happening
Can't wait for the studio version. Radio potential?
I like how Puffy courageously doesn't dye his hair. Own the gray!

MrKredski The track with the seagull sounds is "Angel Dust", the unreleased title track. It's also known as "The Seagull Song".
thanks Derke
Derke73 do you have a link to the full version?
Its' like "introduce yourself" or some oldest song.FNM it's back!! :)
Are they playing in a flower garden? Excited for this music, but seeing them play on my grandmother's back deck is depressing.
Mnnnnnnngggggghhhhh, so gooooooood! I'm going to go into a joy coma if they tour Aus.
Cannot wait for the new album, it has been far, far too long!!
I see professional camera men there, is there an account that has all the pro produced performances?
Patton dressed as a priest *stuffs hand in mouth* xD
I bet you loved having a big cameraman in your way the whole show. That shit drives me nuts.
I've been out of the rock scene since the 90s. Is this an official new FNM song? Or are they covering one like they do so well?
They just announced that they've got an album on the way.
and it looks like this one is a part of it. sounds perfect to me!

Fuckin' amazing!
И все равно Паттон и Co круты)!
Now if they would only do a full US Tour...
Yeah Right...
I love F A I T H N O M O R E
It's upsetting how good this band are. PLEASE don't fuck up the new album. I'm sure you won't but.... just.... make sure!!
This should be the first single off the new album instead of "Motherfucker"
Mookies.
