    Excellent video! I had my trigger mounted backward on my flash unit. I saw in the video the correct position, turned the trigger around and VOILA - it works! Thank you so much. :)

      Hi, they do not work in live view mode, you need to use them only in viewfinder mode.

    The NIKON you're demonstrating this on is not a D3400 (which is what I have). I'm unable to find anywhere on the NIKON D3400 where a wire cable plugs in. Am I missing something?

    • @DigitalGojaUSA
      @DigitalGojaUSA  6 років тому

      Hi, this is the D3300 on the video, the D3400 is not compatible with any remote shutters.

    • @shock4952
      @shock4952 6 років тому +1

      Thanks. I'm aware which camera you were using on the video. When I purchased the accessory kit (Flash unit, diffuser, and hood, it just happened to include the remote attachments in your video. I first wrote to that company...and they INSISTED that it was compatible with my D-3400, as if I were nuts for even questioning it. How dare I...right? I appreciate your getting back to me.

      We are sorry to hear that, in our AD-s it is noted that the D3400 is not compatible with any triggers that use cables.

      Correct. It's camera and flash triggering system work independently.

    Hello,
    I have an issue with my altura wireless flash trigger.
    I have connected the trigger with the flash as shoe. and the transmitter is connected on the DSLR D5300.
    I have put the DIP switches similar between the two(trigger and transmitter).
    I have put the switch on the trigger(3-point switch) in Flash option.
    By pressing the camera button,to take a picture, the flash doesn't shooting. Looks like it doesn't have sync between trigger and transmitter.
    I have tried a lot of combinations between the DIP switches. Also, I have done the same things as your video, but still nothing.
    What could be the problem?

    I bought the kit for my Nikon D5300 which came with the speedlight, transmitter, and receiver. When I use the speedlight directly on the camera via hot shoe, the flash works as it’s supposed to, meaning the flash built into my camera does not pop up. However, when I try to use the wireless feature, the built in flash on my camera pops up at the same time the speedlight fires remotely.

      Hello, Gordon Danika. The Altura Photo wireless flash and camera triggers are universal. They will work with any camera or flash with a standard hot shoe (not the Canon SL3 or T7). The included camera trigger cable is what differentiates both kits. The Kit designated for Canon will include a 2.5mm Remote Shutter Release cable to 3.5mm and the Nikon kit includes a 2.5mm Remote Shutter Release Cable for Nikon DC-2 Cameras. Thanks for watching!

    I have the Altura AP-C1001 set to manual mode with an Altura receiver on it set to flash and I have a receiver on my Canon T4i with the 1/8 cable plugged into the remote port on my camera in manual mode. I'm triggering it with the wireless trigger but the flash isn't showing in the photo at all. It seems like the flash is too fast or slow. What am I doing wrong? I want to be able to walk around with the speedlight and fire the camera/speedlight by remote. It seems like I have everything working together except that the flash isn't showing in the photos. thanks for the reply!

    • @DigitalGojaUSA
      @DigitalGojaUSA  7 років тому

      Hi Mike, make sure that the receiver on the camera is set to "camera" and that both, the receiver and trigger are on the same frequency.

    • @miketack6670
      @miketack6670 7 років тому +1

      Digital Goja what about the receiver on the flash, what does it need to be on? What does the actual flash need to be set to and is there anything I need to change on the t4i? the receiver on the camera is set to flash with the cable plugged in and the flash receiver is set to flash and the flash is on manual mode. they both seem to fire at the same time but the camera isn't capturing the flash.

    • @DigitalGojaUSA
      @DigitalGojaUSA  7 років тому

      Hi Mike, you don't plug any cable into the receiver or transmitter to use wireless. Just put the transmitter on the camera (no cable) and attach the flash to the receiver (no cable) and shoot away.

    • @miketack6670
      @miketack6670 7 років тому +1

      Digital Goja I want to control the flash and camera wirelessly so I can walk around and aim the flash where I want and take photos at the same time. that's why I said the flash and camera have receivers and the trigger is in my hand. the flash isn't showing up in my photos.

    • @DigitalGojaUSA
      @DigitalGojaUSA  7 років тому

      You will not be able to control the flash and camera independently. The flash can be triggered wirelessly but not at the same time as the camera. Only if your flash is set on top of the camera. If you set the receiver to camera mode the flash might fire but not in sync with the camera.

    • @DigitalGojaUSA
