Welcome to the Letterman UA-cam Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. The language may strike you as quaint & flowery, the clothing comically lacey & ornate - but that’s how things were back in this colorful and now bygone era.

She actually got a chance to host her own talk show once, "Late Show Starring Joan Rivers", in 1986. It was the first show to ever be broadcast on the Fox network when it launched. The show itself didn't last too long though.

Amazing, impressive, and impossible to replicate and/ or replace!!!
    Respect for Joan Rivers!!!

The scary thing is, in the last minutes of her life she probably knew they botched up in that clinic and wasn’t able to say any words or what she wanted to say.

My first love was Joan Rivers. I was in the 7th grade, and my mom let me stay up to watch her host the Tonight Show. I begged her to take me to see Joan when she came to our city. I still have the yellow and black zebra print-checkered shirt I wore that night. Great memories.
