You guys rock! I'm a 60 year old Grandma that's been trying to find out where to get a couple t shirts of yours for 3 grandchildren who terrorize my kitchen after watching you!! Keep up the good work!!
Claire Wyndham Claire, you absolutely rock! We are launching a shirt line within the next week or two, check brothersgreen.com then plus a video we put out here for more info!
I used to follow recipes whenever I cooked, and it made me feel like I was trapped. you guys have inspired me to just go into the kitchen and make something that sounds good. It has made cooking much more fun
I love chipotle and was also trying to copycat their chicken. I found an ingredients list on their website! Everything you guys put on yours was listed, but the website list also had garlic, oregano, and honey. Just a tip for everyone!
that herb oil really seem to be IT. real comedy was the viewers asking what herb to use. always love your videos, keep it up, guys, sending nothing but love from germany! ;)
Just found u guys, looking up how to make a burrito. I just love ur style, u guys r so supportive of each other, funny n so adorable..Thank you for sharing😊
Elaine Kong this paticular video he's missing honey, garlic, onions, we use a special made adobe marinade containing 3 more kinds of peppers, and we don't add salt until we lay the chicken on the grill skin side down first l, then a thin even shake of salt and 6 min on each side, finished temp is 165°
***** good question! I'm not sure but try it an keep an eye on your temp be the george will cook it faster, don't press don't to hard or you'll lose a lot a your juice
Ant Mexi its a blend of lime and lemon, you'll just have to taste as you go, and do some math, our measurements in the restaurant are of course bigger! and no our cumin is not toaster, but just a pinch! don't forget to taste as you go! in the kitchen we call it line tasting! the two people in the back of the house are responsible for tasting everything before it goes on the line!
+Kaitlyn Poling Thanks, useful tips. My friend works at a Colorado branch. Dont they send you the adobo already made and that you guys dont make it there? Does the the barbacoa and carnitas come in frozen or chilled? Are you perhaps a KM?
Ant Mexi we used to get pre made adobo but my store is now making it fresh every day, its kind of a pain lol but its sooooooo good, everything comes chilled, we don't freeze anything, it takes away from the freshness, we get about 4 trucks a week with freshest ingredients. I'm higher then km
this looked way to bomb! had to go pick up the stuff and got it marinading right now thanks for the inspiration brothers green! now it's time to chef up a nice salad blunt and heat the grill lol
Chipotle chicken cooked on a grill is marinated in just adobo and salt, and for chicken cooked cooked on a plancha, add a little honey to the marinade.
this makes me smile, bc i work for chipotle and it seems in each of this videos they are missing 1-2 ingredients! so what they are teaching you isn't going to be the best tasting chipotle
***** Hmm, maybe. I've never eaten chipotle before so i'm gonna try this recepie first, and if I dont like it, i'll try to add bayleaves, if I like this one, I will just stick to this ^^
I wasn't expecting how SMOKEY my place would get while cooking this! Word to the wise: OPEN YOUR WINDOWS before you start grilling/frying this. Now I can't stop coughing and sniffing, but this is some damn good chicken.
the OG Chipotle chicken in the store did not have a 'chipotle' flavor. I don't know when they added it, but it used to be much better before. More flavorful and spicy, which I could find the OLD recipe.
May I ask why you put the chicken in the oven instead of just grilling further? Yes it has less chance to burn/caramelize but if you use a stove top and just control the heat, and use thinner slices of chicken it has the same effect?
You could just eat raw oats, carrots, beans in a can and boiled chicken meat...pretty sure it would keep you alive, if all you're looking for is simplicity.
Very similar, but of course you can't always have it exact. Very close though. Be careful with the lime on the rest of the recipes cause it might be over kill. Just do little by little.

Thanks guys, I love chipolte peppers, they add a great flavor to anything you add them to.
I love you guys! Just made this recipe at home and it came out amazing! Thank you so much, keep up the good work!
you can turn the temperature down and cover it and keep cooking it no problemo!
that herb oil really seem to be IT. real comedy was the viewers asking what herb to use. always love your videos, keep it up, guys, sending nothing but love from germany! ;)
chipotle's in adobo. found in most grocery stores in the Mexican/Ethnic section
Thanks!
Just found you guys today and now I'm totally binge watching.
We made this and it was awesome! Tasted just like the chicken from Chipotle. Thanks for this recipe.

Kaitlyn Poling Thank you Kaitlyn, would you perhaps remember whether the lime juice is correct, and whether the cumin is toasted or not? Thx
Ant Mexi its a blend of lime and lemon, you'll just have to taste as you go, and do some math, our measurements in the restaurant are of course bigger! and no our cumin is not toaster, but just a pinch! don't forget to taste as you go! in the kitchen we call it line tasting! the two people in the back of the house are responsible for tasting everything before it goes on the line!

you guys are literally my favorite
Thanks to you bros I'm not hopelessly starving anymore!
I love this! Its so easy and taste amazing!!!
this looked way to bomb! had to go pick up the stuff and got it marinading right now thanks for the inspiration brothers green! now it's time to chef up a nice salad blunt and heat the grill lol
funny you should say that, I literally just mentioned this idea to make an hour ago... should be coming in the next month or so.
It's both. It's similar to the type of chicken that is made at Chipotle and it uses chipotle peppers.
Chipotle chicken cooked on a grill is marinated in just adobo and salt, and for chicken cooked cooked on a plancha, add a little honey to the marinade.
Now Leaving Normal ...is the plancha what they’re using in this video?
I liked you guys then I found out you guys watch South Park. Now I love you guys
Is there a blog or something that has all the ingredients listed?
this makes me smile, bc i work for chipotle and it seems in each of this videos they are missing 1-2 ingredients! so what they are teaching you isn't going to be the best tasting chipotle
So what are they missing then ?
Fredde pretty sure that they add bay leaves
***** Hmm, maybe. I've never eaten chipotle before so i'm gonna try this recepie first, and if I dont like it, i'll try to add bayleaves, if I like this one, I will just stick to this ^^
Fredde I'm pretty sure they add sugar, cinnamon.
they're not top performers hahaha it's really funny for me. I work at chipotle too hahaha
you guys are awesome...gonna make me some tasty meal prepped burritos.
I wasn't expecting how SMOKEY my place would get while cooking this! Word to the wise: OPEN YOUR WINDOWS before you start grilling/frying this. Now I can't stop coughing and sniffing, but this is some damn good chicken.
I work at chipotle and I know EVERYTHING that goes in it and I'm tickled at the confidence you have in your recipe . Close......sorta lol
I laughed at the lime juice i was like wtf
Do tell then.
Well then I guess it's nice to be smug making 9.50 an hour 😂🤣
You two crack me up. I need to make this ASAP
I needed this recipe, I'm in Arkansas and there's no Chipotle out here! Thanks bros!
Where in Arkansas, I live in Bella Vista and there is a Chipotle in Bentonville/Rogers
There's one in Conway.
The best part of this video is how high they got while the chicken marinated. No time is wasted in the Brothers Green kitchen.
+Cody Allen everyone says stoners are lazy, but obviously this shows some skill
Sorry guys, just saw the response to why grill then bake. Thanks for the recipe. Ima give it a try!
It'd be alot more convenient if you guys posted the recipe ingredients in the link description! Thanks for the video thougH!
Loved the chipotlaway reference
Great job guys!
best damn cooking show on youtube!
Ever since I saw that southpark episode, I have never been back to a Chipotle ever again hahaha.
Has anyone ever told you guys that you are awesome? If not, I'm saying it, you guys are awesome! Thx!
YES
you guys are so funny where have you been.
Nice job guys! I was wondering why you grill then bake?
You were Awesome!
That's how I make my fajitas. Never use the lime though. I'll try that.
Looks good. And you guys are fun to.watch
you guys are awesome
You guys crack me up.
however , this video firstly lead me into chipotle's awesomenes :) thanks Broters Green !
Should do a video on panera breads baked potato soup
just turn the heat low and keep on cooking it covered...
Where do you get your funky knives? or what's a good place to get them in general?
What kind of oil is it you guys use for your general stuff, like what you used to put on the chicken before it went in the fridge?
Is there anyway you guys could show how to make chipotle's steak too?
the OG Chipotle chicken in the store did not have a 'chipotle' flavor. I don't know when they added it, but it used to be much better before. More flavorful and spicy, which I could find the OLD recipe.
I love me some Chipotle chicken!
@3:49 That is a truly happy man
The marinade is adobo sauce mixed with honey and oil and marinated 24 hours.
search "Brothers Green Street Meat" on youtube, that should be a good start...
You guys have how to make Philly cheesesteak if not can you please make one
May I ask why you put the chicken in the oven instead of just grilling further? Yes it has less chance to burn/caramelize but if you use a stove top and just control the heat, and use thinner slices of chicken it has the same effect?
for a marinade like this can be pretty rough...
so uh I'm definitely doing this soon
I love you guys.!!
I could not find the chipotle peppers and I even went to a Spanish market
Can you guy's put the donate link in the description box? Looks really good too :)
So awesome
Is that a professional grill that you use indoor? Can you write a link where you can buy it, or what brand of grill is it?
ahhh thank you!
I think I'm going to go to Chipotle's and buy some chicken then some black beans. Mission accomplished.
Do you flip the chicken while it is in the oven?
And is it ok if you use chipotle sauce instead of the peppers ?
I tried this last weeek, damn the chichen was finger licking good. thanks guys
What if I dont have an oven to use? Any alternatives?
Brothers green, not only do I ask you, but I challenge you to remake the "lava" sauce that comes in taco bells volcano items.
what salsa did you guys use? please answer!
At the end of the video, they said that they were almost there, and they will teach us a trick!!
So what's the trick?!
lol.....love it!
i'm from europe. what's a good alternative for chipotle?
They just have been high on the 'magic' when reading the messages xD
Ok I'm making my chicken now
Not exactly like chipotles chicken but it tasted good. i would reccomend it
You're missing an important ingredient and it's a spice rub/mix that is used big time in the Yucatan.
whats the brand of those peppers in a can?
What oil did you use?
magic cake recipe
can i not put it in the oven? what happen if i keep cook the chicken on the grill?
It's the Chipotle Chicken Burrito from Chipotle made with chipotles!
Chipotle is so good they just built one on a shitty part of town. Now that side of town is nice!
What kind of grill are you using?
can i use Tabasco® Brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce instead?
can you guys make a stoner munchie series or something? :) love your videos btw
"We show you how to debone and then get boned..." OMFG
Always loved there humour the nerdy type lol
Ooooooorr you can just go to the chipotle website food ingredients and it tells you what's in it lol.
Thank u for that comment. Pple over complicate things. There's always a simple way to do things.
Is the chipotle website funny?
Didn't think so. But thanks for the suggestion.
You could just eat raw oats, carrots, beans in a can and boiled chicken meat...pretty sure it would keep you alive, if all you're looking for is simplicity.
