I used to eat Chipotle regularly when I was living in the US, and after leaving I really miss it so I can say that after I followed your recipe it is 95% taste like Chipotle Thank you
When I saw the title I was thinking, "Wow! I can make Chipotle at home!" I LOVE the video, but seeing all the time, amazing preparations and ingredients, I'm now thinking, "I'm GOING to Chipotles!" LOL
Yea unfortunately there is a lot of steps that could overwhelm the average homecook , but I didn’t want to hold any important details back for those willing to put the effort 😎. Thank you for watching!
This really is one of the best cooking instruction and show videos I’ve seen on UA-cam. I like how the whole process is shown, and the methods are traditional, and the small important details are explained.
This is the essence of knowing how to cook. Not just throwing shit into a pan then realizing later you left it on high too long because you had no patience. Great job.
I've been learning how to cook Mexican food for a little over a year now. Italian food used to be my favorite type of food to cook I spent many years learning and perfecting Italian dishes. I must admit I really enjoy watching you cook and I have learned quite a bit from you keep up the wonderful work I subscribed and I'll definitely give you a thumbs up! Thank you for sharing the secrets that you've learned from your family over the years today I'm going to cook one of your dishes I'm not sure what it is yet but one of them. I live in Ohio and we finally got a full-fledged Mexican grocery store here in my town it's huge. I absolutely love your culture the people of Mexico and more importantly the food thank you for taking the time to teach us
Because I’m far from done with making videos 😎.. I’m just going through a bit of life unfortunately. I love helping and sharing tips with people in general, I’m much more active via Instagram however.. @doomsmokebbq . Thank you so much for commenting!
Hey I made this today it turned out great thank you. I am from the uk, so there were some things I couldn't get. I had them imported from Mexico. I also soaked my beans in water and left them in the fridge for two days to make them cook quicker. Thanks to your tips it tasted really authentic.
If you put a big piece of foil over half of the grill, then punch a bunch of holes in it, and oil it, the chicken won't stick as much and you'll still get that great grilled flavor. The adobo and Coke tend to stick to grates, even if you oil them really well. Love your video man, lots of good ideas
I'm trying something similar for the chicken except I bought a can of the adobo chillies with the sauce. Also I may try to pan fry instead of grill. LOVE this video though, man. Hope to try everything you did in here one day. Looks so good and your way of presenting it is super wholesome and friendly.
Wow this is one of my favorite recipes I’ve seen on UA-cam. So much info and easy instructions. Was definitely inspired to try these recipes, thank you!
dude there's so much information packed into this video. I must have watched a dozen videos just trying to make chipotle at a home -- most of this video was still completely new to me. thanks a lot!
David Combs bro I’m barely able to reply to my comments just now lol thanks so much for your comment haha 😆.. and hell yea I’m taken by an amazing girl
I made this yesterday. It was incredibly good. I'm trying to be vegan so I didn't do the chicken. I couldn't find the correct chiles so I used the canned adobo. When I put the dish together the only thing missing was me tipping the cook. Thank you. You're instructions were easy to follow.
Thanks for making this video! I don’t eat meat but your recipes for all the veggies and the adobo were extremely helpful :). This was very easy to follow and I’m excited to try and replicate what you did here. Love hearing the secrets from former chain restaurant cooks!
Jackie Ramirez unfortunately that came out years later after my time working there , however I recently just posted a carne asada video you can check out! .. I will definitely research how chipotle makes theirs and see what I come up with!...
Thumbs up, love this Chipotle guide, will be using this for my future burritos and tacos I make on my cooking channel! Another great food related video, have a wonderful Thursday evening! :)
I worked for a poultry company who supplied Chipotle with thigh meat and enjoyed my trips as a QA Manager on courtesy calls and complaints. (temperature issues) I found many in Texas were receiving and cold storage at the stores. California not so much because of its less than hell summer temps! At any rate we got it figures out and I enjoyed the best chow ever in these restaurants! So glad you’ve shared the recipes, I will be trying these out for a small party here in the south in the fall! All the best!
I’m making it now! I watched your video over and over taking notes! You are very good and thorough! I’m having a special luncheon and I will serve this!….Your recipe! Thank you for all the details and writing everything out.
This is so great! Have been looking for healthier recipes for the fam and wanted to do a chipotle hack lunch. Thank you so much! the roasting garlic tip is epic. I'm a seasoned cook and have not seen that before. Love learning new techniques and tricks. Thank you!
Sherbear Hutch thank you 😊 yes the roasting of garlic on a comal is a very popular and common trick to do in Mexican cooking . My mom did it for her salsas all the time
Thank you for showing us how to make this. You did a great job making it simple and easy to understand so I can make it myself. The chicken is marinating and the beans are cooking! I'm excited to have delicious chipotle at home for my family :)
Great tutorial, simple and to the point. I liked your presentation style and explanations plus showing the differences that you do over Chipotle. Gonna give this a try when I have time.
8 Chipotle bowls so far on my quarantine. Really a lot of work and time to make these. I might stick with the 7.25 for a veggie bowl. This guy is the best!
Thank you for the most helpful video and thank you for the recipes! But I wouldn't put food and acid in a plastic container and wouldn't cover hot food with plastic wrap.
Just wow! thank you for sharing your amazing knowledge. Best instructional video I have seen. Can anyone tell me what the dried jalapeno chiles are smoked with? special Mexican wood?
Finding regular folks making wholesome content is one of the great things about UA-cam.
