If you have been watching ADD longer than 2 months you’d know that he arguably has the best vocabulary in the company. He also has the most skits to air on ADD and that was during their prime because of his creativity which takes a level of intellect to know what your audience also finds funny and create it for them without getting repetitive or unoriginal. Kimba the white lion isn't Hamlet. But Disney did steal slot of that movie for lion king. The Lion King however is a combo of Hamlet and Kimba the white lion scenes

And their amusement parks are all fluff, no filler. And they're expensive as shit. I've been to Six Flags at least 30 times in New Jersey. I fucking love that place. Disney World/Land is... meh. It's nice for the story and the experience, but I would go to Six Flags any day of the week over Disney World/Land. The rides at Six Flags are some of the best in the world. The really good ones got like 1-2 hour waits, but they got so many rides, you can just hop on the semi-good ones and still have a good time waiting 10 minutes.

There's a reason Disney has never won "Best Picture". Back during the Golden Age, MGM often beat them at the box office AND at the award ceremonies. It's appalling that Disney's films are praised as the greatest thing since sliced bread while many of MGM's utter MASTERPIECES are ignored today.

Eh, Dcoms were always pretty similar. Kid is usually a well adjusted, attractive high school age person. Despite this, they get bullied constantly. One day (presumably after the bullies have chased them) the main character finds out about a secret talent, or something new about themselves. After they find out their talented, they start becoming one of the cools kids at school, hijinks then ensue. After about 30 minutes of run time, the main character will do something that makes all of their new "friends" turn on them, reverting the main character back to square 1. To win the hearts of their people back, the main character comes back, despite the ridicule they're getting, and they use their newfound talents or abilities to win a game or save someone.
Chris Hansen which then makes them cool again only for the bully to attempt to mess with them again and finally gets shut down by people because they finally realize bullying is wrong. Or B. Bully becomes friends with the main character for a sequel to have a new antagonist
Cheetah Girls introduced singing teens to dcoms, HSM followed up and was hugely successful. Now they want to give every new generation their Cheetah Girls/HSM and frankly the new product is stale.
They used to have some really good DComs when I was younger. Up, Up, and Away, The Jett Jackson/Silverstone movie, Don't Look Under The Bed, Wish Upon A Star, Zenon, etc
My kids could not agree more. They might be the only kids I know that have ZERO desire to visit there. As their parents my husband and I couldn’t be happier👌🏾.

I just went and it's hit and miss. When you are young it's definitely not overrated but when you're an adult, the price can also factor into your experience. Waiting in lines for hours and tons of walking may lead to negative feelings as an adult, when you had all the energy in the world as a kid.

Depends on the era. Late 80s to early 90s Disney bolstered by the Disney Afternoon Cartoon block in syndication with Gummy Bears, Duckwing Duck, Goof Troop, DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Talespin, and Gargoyles was legit.

I grew up in the 90s and early 2000s on Nick... Disney sucked to me then... I felt That’s so raven was too cheesy, I remember Jet Jackson but not 1 episode, and by the time I knew about the proud family I was a teenager... but my opinion tho 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

So true! This reminded me of Pixar’s Coco. Disney producers fashioned Mama Coco after a real woman in Mexico named Maria de la Salud, who is called Mama Coco by the locals. According to Maria and her family, Disney promised her many things, including recognition, but never honored their promises. She’s over 100 years old, and just wants the recognition she deserves. Disney should be ashamed. If you look up “the real mama coco”, you can see the video for yourself.

Disney was on top of their game back in the early/late 90’s and early to mid 2000’s. Now they’re just disappointing, they only do re-makes, their shows are terrible, and as the guy in the glasses just said they’re buying companies. What’s worse is that they’re watering down the companies that they buy.

I was uncomfortable watching this because not one person in the room had a good argument when there were many. Disney is the whole reason western animation is the way it is (fluid, dynamic and organic). Without Disney you don’t have Tom & Jerry, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and, most importantly, ANYTHING made by Pixar because Disney started the whole game.
