No they didn’t add more people BTS has been always 7 members it’s just that some of their songs especially older songs have more rap in it than vocals and bts has 3 rappers and 4 vocalist so when the songs has more rap in it than vocals then they will focus on the rappers and if the songs has more singing in it than rapping then they will focus on the vocalists.
You are definitely then so missing out. BTS have always been 7 members. They have been like this for a decade. Even way harder and had more aggressive concepts in their debut but then changed their concepts multiple times, this made them really versatile and attract a lot of audiences.

They have songs with all the 7 members, solo songs, rapp line songs, vocal line songs and then solo mixtapes and albums. I have been ARMY for 3 years now and man I still haven´t heard it all. The amazing thing is that they are able to combine rap and porp and then many genres in between, they compose and sing in Korean Japanese and English. They ar something else.
This version is very good, but I prefer the 2015 live concert performance better. Agree this is a more mature version, but their voices were just as good sometimes better in the youthful days and I enjoy the fans in the audience participating singing the lyrics for/with them. Love this group, who have grown from boys to men, famous but still humble, who put their fans first always.💜
