I have a really funny story to tell. My stand is Caravan and im borderline useless against enemy stands but have effectively unlimited bazookas, submachine guns, flamethrowers, first aid kits, and missle launchers. Stand battles with me end up being a rush to launch missles at the the enemy stand user in a DPS rush. However i was trapped by the stand shocking blue in a bar. The only way i could fight him was directly attacking the stand with my basic attack. I beat shocking blue over 15 times but i was exausted. I had almost run out of supplies and SP. Then the enemy stand user finally reveales themselves. A stripper in a bunny suit. She almost killed iggy and i had to spend a turn reviving him. I launched 5 missles at her but she was still alive. I had 30hp and 10Sp. I didnt have any items left, iggy was almost KOd, and i was out of options. With one final desperate attack i used a basic attack directly on the stand user and scored a critical hit. I literally lunged and beat a stripper in a bunny costume to death with my bare hands to save iggy. A REAL JOJO EXPERIENCE 10/10 CLAYMAN

Let me get this straight: countless interactions, combat options, choices, endings, and a character arc, all based on an 18 ending personality quiz, and 1 secret character, made by ONE person in an old game engine I'd argue it's THE most ambitious game EVER MADE! AND IT SUCCEEDS!!!
When I played, I got Napalm Death. Then, through methods I won't spoil, I accidentally got into a boss fight with Kira from Part 4. And he commented on how we had similar stands. A very interesting detail.
I tweeted at Clayman on a whim- and came back to her not only retweeting me- but then making a tweet in japanese about this video for her japanese followers, and going through the effort of watching the video via automatic translated captions (kinda creepy how far that's come). you forgot Copy-pasted, almost every roblox jojo game looks the same, when a something new becomes popular everyone starts doing the exact same formula trying to get a bit of the fame, first it was impossible to find anything that didn't look or felt exactly like Project Jojo, then it was A Bizarre Day and then YBA
I like the roblox game Stands Online because of the sheer amount of different randomly generated stands you can get on it, it has no real story aspects but has the kind of gameplay that I personally love indulging in from time to time. the other stand games are all just the same arrow grind for canon/non canon meme stands that are set in stone, but at least stands online makes you feel like you have some kind of unique stand (even if the upper power ceiling requires your stand to have 'canon' moves, making it less unique)
Ok but Miracles is unironically a really powerful stand if it can manipulate the subconscious to that level. Given the level of chaos Part 6's Survivor caused and realising that Miracles is just a better version should really be all that needs to be said.
No mention of the glory that is chaos mode. It adds a bunch of random events that range from just funny events like the fake Captain Tennile offering Jotaro an ash tray to amazing things like it turning out you're actually a Zepelli and you start with hamon powers. Then there the non-random events like if you refuse to go on the journey you get the Silent Hill 3 UFO ending.
The amount of different branching story lines is absolutely incredible. Like for instance, you can actually accompany Polneraff to his duel with Hol Horse, which I did thinking I could use Miracles ability to create barriers to block the bullet that hit Avdol, which just hit me instead. And when you go off the main story, the game doesn’t just say ‘Okay I’m just going to jump you into where avdol supposed to show up’ No! You actually get a mission where you go get the sub they use, with (depending on how you played) the inconsequential Speedwagon and the apex of German engineering Strohiem. Where you can also team up with Hol Horse who IIRC is actually GLAD he didn’t kill you. And if you play your cards right and sympathize with Hol Horse, during your battle with Dio, randomly, ZA WARUDO will be hit with a bullet from an unknown gunman. The level of love, care, sweat, and blood put into this game is actually insane and it shows. Gaming as a whole could learn something From 7th stand user
15:20- Now this is what has my attention about this game. Yeah, it’s cool that there are 18 different stands you can hook up to yourself, but the idea that if your stand can bypass situations like “heal the sick baby” or “repair the spare plane” to bypass fights altogether is actually brilliant. Almost makes me want to watch a playthrough with all 18 stands and see what differences play out between all of them.
Fun fact: There were going to be even more New Game+ Disks like the Josuke Disk. There were going to be Disks for Kira, Koichi, Okuyasu, Jolyne, Gyro Zeppeli, and even *Ikuro*, the protagonist of Baoh, the Manga Araki made before JoJo. The game also has a surprisingly active modding community, because it was made in RPG Maker 2000.

Miracles feels like a lot of stands that seems week at first glance, but is actually one of THE most terrifying stands out there, if it was real. See, while it does manipulate the subconscious to be able to shut off perception, and other such events, it specifically does so through bioelectricity. If I'm reading that correctly, then Miracles could, on touch, cause any number of organ failures by sending the correct bioelectric signal, skipping manipulating the subconscious entirely. Causing your muscles to start contracting enough to break your bones? A definite possibility. Heart Attack? Absolutely. Total brain failure? No problem whatsoever. The thing is freaking terrifying, and it doesn't JUST shut off perception of one person, no no no. You could theoretically make it so someone can never perceive other creatures ever again. The possibilities if used correctly render this one of the most terrifying stands in this game, including Red Garland which can somehow achieve Requiem on its own without use of a Stand Arrow.
So straight up 'Hokuto Shinken THE STAND'. Just a touch can absolutely ruin your day/kill you in a horrifying, barely understandable fashion because how the FUCK is this happening? Oh and you're also seeing horrifying visions or something to correlate with the horrible pain/violent death you are experiencing.

Favorite Stand is Carpenters, hands down. You think it's gonna be pretty useless in fights because it's a Support stand. And then you get the Nail Gun and Chainsaw attacks and suddenly you turn into a slasher movie villain.
Wait a sec, Miracles is broken! The Stand is one's fighting spirit, or their subconscious, so if you can affect their subconscious, you affect their stand directly!

A fellow Joykiller! It was a shame how underused it is outside of combat, and it's one of the less powerful 'fighter' stands, but man at endgame it sure kicks ass.

Even the first Possible One Hit Kill attack 'Decapitate' which allowed my character to straight up bypass Tower of Grey's evasive bullshit and throw it off by a tonne, allowing Kakyoin clean shots by SCARING IT TO THE POINT WHERE IT DECIDES 'GET ME AWAY FROM THIS SLASHER VILLAIN' through a use of it causing the Fear Status, which likely procced it changing range to further out.
Finishing the game and getting into that Dev Room is amazing. Everything that unlocks the more you play is crazy, plus there's stuff hidden everywhere. In Japan at the beginning of the game you can: go to Tonio's restaraunt, which is now open and you can buy all his food; find a ticket to Cinderella's so you can change your character; activate Rolling Stones and have it chase you across japan while getting increasingly faster; find Diavolo in a parking lot and kill him for the lols; find a diary in an exploded house and write Kira's name in it, causing him to appear and fight you only to rewind time when he loses (you can take the diary with you to summon and re-fight him whenever you want, basically eliminating the 50 day timer!); buy items, learnable skills and games from the secondhand shop, including F-Mega which you can take back to your house and play to earn bonus items; and a fuckton more stuff! Personally, I like breaking into Emporio's hidden rooms (found on most maps), fishing Kars out of the purgatory lake to fight him, using Kars' arm blade to kill God and entering the Super Dev Room where you can adjust literally every stat from FP to Stand EXP to Where in the game you want to be located and on which day. I'm pretty sure you can fight Araki himself in there. The amount of options Clayman gives you are straight up insane! And that's why Woolie will always be a coward.

At first, I was a bit interested after watching Woolie's playthrough (even after he rejected his real Stand), but after watching this, I want to actually experience this.
The thing I love the most about 7th stand user is that it actually makes a non silent self insert protagonist … possible to project myself onto The issue I have with stuff like Mass effect, fallout 4 etc is that I don’t feel like I’m creating a character I’m just creating the appearance and name of the character while the actual character themselves has a set personality while for silent protagonists while that can be a deal breaker for a lot of people I much prefer as it makes it easier for me to make the protagonist MY character that I spent time creating and naming (like ffxiv for example the WoL doesn’t talk but because of that it gave me an opportunity to create so much stuff about his backstory, personality, relationships with other characters etc to the point that I’ve become so attached to my ffxiv character) But 7th stand user is the only game that has a non silent customisable protagonist … that doesn’t have the issue that mass effect had for me because I got to choose their personality, they gave me control of the character I created

God, and I just got obsessed with this game again and finished my play through and found this and it’s good to know people are appreciating this game still. There are mods of this game being made, the most recent one being v2.6 which was last modified on 2022 Christmas! Also, there’s actually a sequel for it being developed right now! It’s not being developed by Clayman though, so it’s literally a fan game of a fan game. This game reinvigorated my love for Jojo and story telling as a whole. It’s just such a good game

I saw this video by chance, and stopped about a few minutes in and went get it. One week later, mid 2nd playthrought and I came to finish the video, and more importantly, to say thanks. What an awesome game, it's truly the kind of thing you dream of, then wake up and think "Holy Crap, this would be so cool if it were real..." Also, Miracles team for the win, I felt so absorbed in the story it was crazy
7SU is honestly a delight to play from start to finish. You can tell, just by experiencing it firsthand, just how much love and care was put into it. When I first discovered it, I played nonstop. Off work? 8+ hours. After work? Stayed up way too late. I recorded a few videos and even started writing fanfiction based on how the game played out for me so I could embellish the details and make it my own. I haven't played 7SU in awhile but that's because it's so dangerous and I don't want to become so engrossed that I neglect my important duties that I have to do right now. But when I do get back to it, it'll be like hugging an old friend. It really is one of the best fan games (for any series) of all time.
Kinda offtopic, but if you liked Blood Sun Vendetta, could I recommend Jojopolis, Bone To Blades and City Living? They're webcomics that tell unique Jojo stories with original stands and characters and everything, and I just thought that when you were praising BSV it just clicked in my head "This. These are the reasons why I love these series."
They could make such a cool jojo game like imagine a story-based game being set in a new universe and you play as a random brand new character who eventually gets a stand and goes on some mad adventure.

Adam Ant I thought I'd hate it day one but months later I'd rather not use anything else. Not the stand I thought my personality would net me but def like having to use strategy
So my first honest run was with Quicksilver. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and felt that the stand indeed matched me for the most part. However, now that im doing a new honest run a few years later, I decided to try my hand at the game again, as I've grown and changed somewhat over the years (albeit not too dramatically mind you, just mostly a perspective and experience thing). This time? I got Joykiller. I gotta say, both of those stands fit me nicely, and while I do hold a particular soft spot for Joykiller nowadays, if I woke up one day and got either of these two stands, I'd be like "yeah, that scans", and be satisfied. I love both of these stands quite a bit, and respect all fellow Joykillers and (now former) fellow Quicksilvers greatly :) That being said, if there IS a stand I wish I could get regardless of compatability? I would have to say Pharaoh Sanders. There's just something so appealing about the fact that its a unit of 30 Egyptian footsoldiers made of pure electricity. I already like swarm stands because of the idea of having a small host of soldiers or creature to command outright, but PS just hits every cool box for me, plus, in this modern world of ours, using it to charge devices or even using it to make it through blackouts would be insanely useful, especially in storm season when power lines could get screwed up in bad weather events, although I dont know how long I could keep things charged, especially at first ^^'

did you know they're making a new 7SU, but it's not clayman who's making it? the name of the game is 7th stand user 2: fate is unbreakable. They're still doing it, but they released a demo in 2019 and are about to release another demo soon.
Truly this game just the early mechanic (attack range, how big different each stand build + affect things + ending), it will be a big boost if this game have better graphic (variation colours, more beautiful 2d graphics) or more voice act too :3 hope someday clayman acutally joined a big gang and remake this game with a big upgrade :3

The stand I got was Pharaoh's Sanders so in fights with lots of enemies at any range I was basically unstoppable lol, sadly in situations not involving combat I couldn't help much
I've done more playthroughs and I got the other two swarm stands which has genuinely lead to me learning alot about myself specifically with specials constantly showing up whenever my character is confused emotionally as they seemed to understand me perfectly and explained things much better than I could

The stand I got from the test was Deep Purple, a Close range Control type stand that manipulates the air around it. It can do all kinds of stuff with the air, including poison it, create fire with it, explode hydrogen and oxygen particles, change the air pressure, etc. And what it said about my personality was as accurate as it gets.
@@amadeuszmajewski3551 Similar, but not the same. Weather Report is infinitely more op. First, Weather Report isn't limited nearly as heavily in range. Also, WR completely controls the weather in any way, so Weather Report is a more powerful stand overall. Weather Report is one of the most powerful stands ever shown in the series, no joke.

@@amadeuszmajewski3551 I will say that Weather Report's stand is indeed something involving rainbows, and it's name is Heavy Weather. It's practically as op as it gets. It can control subliminal messages via light, by bending the light off of water particles in the air. It doesn't *actually* turn people into snails, but more just makes people believe their snails, and since they completely believe and perceive themself as a snail, they "become" a snail. It's extremely overpowered. If you wanna know more, look up a video on Heavy Weather in JoJo. Have a good day!
I took the personality test and played the game it's amazing. My stand is sonic youth a midrange speed humanoid stand that can manipulate sound, play hypnotic music for buffs and debuffs, and has echo location.
So I just finished the personality test for this game and it’s spot on. I got Sonic Youth as my stand, a music related stand for a cheerful Happy go lucky person that gets fooled by sob-stories and is sentimental.
I actually died at my first playthrough at the kakyoin fight i accidentaly skiped first 3 questions and got adam ant and then i needed to reset because i died and have not saved answered all the questions and got joykiller im happy with it
Im sad that some stands dont have a lot of outside world interactions, like mine is a explosion pen thing and i cant do anything, that is why your experience was more fun.
As cringey as it is I really like custom designing ideas for stands based on my personality. So this game is right up my alley. Something I've always longed for is a game like this, and I actually heard of it a while ago. Never played it and it takes a real MOOD to get me to play JRPG's, since I'm a very reflexive and action oriented person. Hey, I wonder if there are any questions like that on the personality quiz!
I adore this game beyond messure, and I'm happy to see a video like this singing its praise. My first playthrough a long time ago landes me with Cartigans after an honest answering of the quiz, and I loved the stand deeply, then not too long ago I decided to play again while once again answering honestly and getting the same stand, and I'm glad I can go through my own kind of story in such a game. Probably gonna finish that playthrough after having watched this video. Godspeed.
Aahh truly. 7th Stand User is a wonderful game. And yes... I too am dissapointed in WOolie doing something that can, honestly, just be called a regular Woolie move. There's a reason he and Pat did the Eyes of Heaven LP as a sort of "Settings things right" LP (which is why the animated intro is what it is for EoH). But man I remember my first time playing the game, not the stand I got or how it went because of how long ago this was, but the feelings I felt playing it. The joy, the wonder, the moments where I went "Aha! I rememebr this from the anime so I'll use it to my advantage with my stand!". Thanks for reminding me of this game Lo. I think Imma sub to you, and go replay 7th stand user, to get ready for the sequel that's being made by another team.

Yeah, uh, remember that wave motion cannon strapped to your arm? That's the stand I got EDIT: One thing I also have to mention is that that same test is DEADSHOT-accurate. I got the SAME STAND (Quicksilver, A.K.A The Wave Cannon Strapped To Your Arm) more than *_THREE TIMES_* even when I chose different answers.

When I first played 7thSU the stand I got was Adam Ant and while a but underwhelming at the beggining, it becomes a DoT powerhouse aswell as having a long range-multi target basic attack and *3* unique status effects
Nowadays there's an updated version btw 7th Stand User R It's got full color (with like one minor exception caused by a bug) Also the R Version changes random encounters out with spawning wandering enemies that will seek you out making grinding better and random encounters not annoying (because they don't exist) also makes it easier to grind specific enemies
This REALLY makes me want to play this game. Also love the shade being thrown at Woolie for being a salty bitch about his CANNON stand. You can pretend it was wrong all you want Woolie, doesn't change the truth! Edit: I downloaded the game and did the test as best to myself as I could. I feel like I got the most accurate result that I could get to myself. My stand is Howling Wolf and my character's personality is exactly like me, or rather 17 year old me (since you're a high schooler in game)
honeslty, as someone who loves the concept of unique stand ability fighting in JJBA, YBA was the best jojo game I've ever played. however dumb of a choice it may seem, it was just so fun knowing that you could possess any of the stands you wanted and it was based on gacha. I'd just love for an official company to make something similar.

I just started playing yesterday and got Cardigans, The funny thing is I wanted to diversify the cast so I chose the Chubby Male body, so my head cannon is that he's like Marvel's Kingpin (Looks fat, all muscle) and is a tanky healer (Currently just beat *poneref*)

29:26 This game really makes you feel like spiderman. Meming aside, I love this game. I discovered it a few weeks ago, and decided to play through it myself. I ended up getting the stand that supposedly corresponded with Polnareff, The Joykiller. I also gotta say, because of that choice my protagonist was very different from the one you had in your playthrough. The fact that each stand available changes all of the player character dialouge, as well as the endings (seriously, there are 54 total variations of the high FP endings alone, not including the multiple secret endings and true ending) shows just how much work Clayman put into this game. This game is a passion project, made by a fan for fans and that's what makes it so awesome. Also I got the ending where you save Avdol. My boy deserves it. Being able to fight God from final fantasy with Me, Avdol and Not!Hol Horse was very very fun, albeit a bit tedious to grind since I insisted on beating it legit instead of beating him to death with Car's severed arm.
Pharaoh Sanders user here, i've been spending the past 20 hours frying everyone around me with thunderbolts that would make Zeus jealous and i'm absolutely loving it.
Anyone else find themselves replaying the personality quiz over and over again not because they didn't like their stand but because the personality didn't match them at all? XD First stand I got was Napalm Death. Okay, cool stand and the personality description sounds like me. But then the character spoke and it didn't sound like me at all! XD Same thing happened again when I retried and got Adam Ant. Description sounded kind of accurate on paper, but the personality just didn't match in execution. I found myself retrying the test multiple times because I was obsessed with getting a character that actually sounded like me, while completely ignoring the stands associated with the personality XD The ones that I felt most closely matched up with me were Red Garland, Deep Purple, and Howlin' Wolf. I ended up settling on Howlin' Wolf.
And that's why I don't like personality quizzes. :/ I'll never play 7th Stand User because of that. Oh no I just realised Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has those too. Another supposedly amazing game that I won't play because I'm not good at describing myself. >_< I guess blank slate protags are better for me then? That or pre-determined characters, completely separate from you. But those "this is you" protags oh no please no >_

Specifically, I think the most important part of self-insert narratives is treating the self-insert as a character in a story. They need conflict and flaws, as well as a proper place in the story.
I have a really funny story to tell. My stand is Caravan and im borderline useless against enemy stands but have effectively unlimited bazookas, submachine guns, flamethrowers, first aid kits, and missle launchers. Stand battles with me end up being a rush to launch missles at the the enemy stand user in a DPS rush. However i was trapped by the stand shocking blue in a bar. The only way i could fight him was directly attacking the stand with my basic attack. I beat shocking blue over 15 times but i was exausted. I had almost run out of supplies and SP. Then the enemy stand user finally reveales themselves. A stripper in a bunny suit. She almost killed iggy and i had to spend a turn reviving him. I launched 5 missles at her but she was still alive. I had 30hp and 10Sp. I didnt have any items left, iggy was almost KOd, and i was out of options. With one final desperate attack i used a basic attack directly on the stand user and scored a critical hit. I literally lunged and beat a stripper in a bunny costume to death with my bare hands to save iggy.

I like the roblox game Stands Online because of the sheer amount of different randomly generated stands you can get on it, it has no real story aspects but has the kind of gameplay that I personally love indulging in from time to time.
the other stand games are all just the same arrow grind for canon/non canon meme stands that are set in stone, but at least stands online makes you feel like you have some kind of unique stand (even if the upper power ceiling requires your stand to have 'canon' moves, making it less unique)

No mention of the glory that is chaos mode. It adds a bunch of random events that range from just funny events like the fake Captain Tennile offering Jotaro an ash tray to amazing things like it turning out you're actually a Zepelli and you start with hamon powers. Then there the non-random events like if you refuse to go on the journey you get the Silent Hill 3 UFO ending.

The amount of different branching story lines is absolutely incredible. Like for instance, you can actually accompany Polneraff to his duel with Hol Horse, which I did thinking I could use Miracles ability to create barriers to block the bullet that hit Avdol, which just hit me instead. And when you go off the main story, the game doesn’t just say ‘Okay I’m just going to jump you into where avdol supposed to show up’ No! You actually get a mission where you go get the sub they use, with (depending on how you played) the inconsequential Speedwagon and the apex of German engineering Strohiem. Where you can also team up with Hol Horse who IIRC is actually GLAD he didn’t kill you. And if you play your cards right and sympathize with Hol Horse, during your battle with Dio, randomly, ZA WARUDO will be hit with a bullet from an unknown gunman. The level of love, care, sweat, and blood put into this game is actually insane and it shows. Gaming as a whole could learn something From 7th stand user

15:20- Now this is what has my attention about this game. Yeah, it’s cool that there are 18 different stands you can hook up to yourself, but the idea that if your stand can bypass situations like “heal the sick baby” or “repair the spare plane” to bypass fights altogether is actually brilliant. Almost makes me want to watch a playthrough with all 18 stands and see what differences play out between all of them.
Fun fact: There were going to be even more New Game+ Disks like the Josuke Disk. There were going to be Disks for Kira, Koichi, Okuyasu, Jolyne, Gyro Zeppeli, and even *Ikuro*, the protagonist of Baoh, the Manga Araki made before JoJo. The game also has a surprisingly active modding community, because it was made in RPG Maker 2000.

Miracles feels like a lot of stands that seems week at first glance, but is actually one of THE most terrifying stands out there, if it was real. See, while it does manipulate the subconscious to be able to shut off perception, and other such events, it specifically does so through bioelectricity. If I'm reading that correctly, then Miracles could, on touch, cause any number of organ failures by sending the correct bioelectric signal, skipping manipulating the subconscious entirely. Causing your muscles to start contracting enough to break your bones? A definite possibility. Heart Attack? Absolutely. Total brain failure? No problem whatsoever. The thing is freaking terrifying, and it doesn't JUST shut off perception of one person, no no no. You could theoretically make it so someone can never perceive other creatures ever again. The possibilities if used correctly render this one of the most terrifying stands in this game, including Red Garland which can somehow achieve Requiem on its own without use of a Stand Arrow.
So straight up 'Hokuto Shinken THE STAND'. Just a touch can absolutely ruin your day/kill you in a horrifying, barely understandable fashion because how the FUCK is this happening?
Oh and you're also seeing horrifying visions or something to correlate with the horrible pain/violent death you are experiencing.

Even the first Possible One Hit Kill attack 'Decapitate' which allowed my character to straight up bypass Tower of Grey's evasive bullshit and throw it off by a tonne, allowing Kakyoin clean shots by SCARING IT TO THE POINT WHERE IT DECIDES 'GET ME AWAY FROM THIS SLASHER VILLAIN' through a use of it causing the Fear Status, which likely procced it changing range to further out.
Finishing the game and getting into that Dev Room is amazing. Everything that unlocks the more you play is crazy, plus there's stuff hidden everywhere. In Japan at the beginning of the game you can: go to Tonio's restaraunt, which is now open and you can buy all his food; find a ticket to Cinderella's so you can change your character; activate Rolling Stones and have it chase you across japan while getting increasingly faster; find Diavolo in a parking lot and kill him for the lols; find a diary in an exploded house and write Kira's name in it, causing him to appear and fight you only to rewind time when he loses (you can take the diary with you to summon and re-fight him whenever you want, basically eliminating the 50 day timer!); buy items, learnable skills and games from the secondhand shop, including F-Mega which you can take back to your house and play to earn bonus items; and a fuckton more stuff! Personally, I like breaking into Emporio's hidden rooms (found on most maps), fishing Kars out of the purgatory lake to fight him, using Kars' arm blade to kill God and entering the Super Dev Room where you can adjust literally every stat from FP to Stand EXP to Where in the game you want to be located and on which day. I'm pretty sure you can fight Araki himself in there. The amount of options Clayman gives you are straight up insane!

At the begining I was thinking you were just gonna go for the easy answer Heritage for the future. But you do really understood what made 7th stand user great and even got to appreciate one if not the greatest personality quizes in videogames.

At first, I was a bit interested after watching Woolie's playthrough (even after he rejected his real Stand), but after watching this, I want to actually experience this.
The thing I love the most about 7th stand user is that it actually makes a non silent self insert protagonist … possible to project myself onto
The issue I have with stuff like Mass effect, fallout 4 etc is that I don’t feel like I’m creating a character I’m just creating the appearance and name of the character while the actual character themselves has a set personality while for silent protagonists while that can be a deal breaker for a lot of people I much prefer as it makes it easier for me to make the protagonist MY character that I spent time creating and naming (like ffxiv for example the WoL doesn’t talk but because of that it gave me an opportunity to create so much stuff about his backstory, personality, relationships with other characters etc to the point that I’ve become so attached to my ffxiv character)
But 7th stand user is the only game that has a non silent customisable protagonist … that doesn’t have the issue that mass effect had for me because I got to choose their personality, they gave me control of the character I created
My only regret about this video is not finding this masterpiece of a showcase and game sooner
I got the Stand Sonic Youth and the Jotaro ending, it's one of the best experiences i've had in a game.

God, and I just got obsessed with this game again and finished my play through and found this and it’s good to know people are appreciating this game still. There are mods of this game being made, the most recent one being v2.6 which was last modified on 2022 Christmas!
Also, there’s actually a sequel for it being developed right now! It’s not being developed by Clayman though, so it’s literally a fan game of a fan game.
This game reinvigorated my love for Jojo and story telling as a whole. It’s just such a good game

Though to be totally fair they were playing the game for content and there were two of them "playing" and experiencing it, so I guess it makes sense that they didnt care how personalized it was.
I saw this video by chance, and stopped about a few minutes in and went get it.
One week later, mid 2nd playthrought and I came to finish the video, and more importantly, to say thanks. What an awesome game, it's truly the kind of thing you dream of, then wake up and think "Holy Crap, this would be so cool if it were real..."
Also, Miracles team for the win, I felt so absorbed in the story it was crazy
The feeling of expecting to get a cool, interesting stand, and getting ADAM ANT, a swarm of insects, is truly painful, 10/10 game
7SU is honestly a delight to play from start to finish. You can tell, just by experiencing it firsthand, just how much love and care was put into it. When I first discovered it, I played nonstop. Off work? 8+ hours. After work? Stayed up way too late. I recorded a few videos and even started writing fanfiction based on how the game played out for me so I could embellish the details and make it my own. I haven't played 7SU in awhile but that's because it's so dangerous and I don't want to become so engrossed that I neglect my important duties that I have to do right now. But when I do get back to it, it'll be like hugging an old friend. It really is one of the best fan games (for any series) of all time.
That "Japanese Autism" line and its accompanying clip broke me, especially because I'm autistic myself.

I remember on the first run with Carpenters I managed to forge a card and beat D'arby that was great
So my first honest run was with Quicksilver. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and felt that the stand indeed matched me for the most part. However, now that im doing a new honest run a few years later, I decided to try my hand at the game again, as I've grown and changed somewhat over the years (albeit not too dramatically mind you, just mostly a perspective and experience thing).
This time? I got Joykiller. I gotta say, both of those stands fit me nicely, and while I do hold a particular soft spot for Joykiller nowadays, if I woke up one day and got either of these two stands, I'd be like "yeah, that scans", and be satisfied. I love both of these stands quite a bit, and respect all fellow Joykillers and (now former) fellow Quicksilvers greatly :)
That being said, if there IS a stand I wish I could get regardless of compatability? I would have to say Pharaoh Sanders. There's just something so appealing about the fact that its a unit of 30 Egyptian footsoldiers made of pure electricity. I already like swarm stands because of the idea of having a small host of soldiers or creature to command outright, but PS just hits every cool box for me, plus, in this modern world of ours, using it to charge devices or even using it to make it through blackouts would be insanely useful, especially in storm season when power lines could get screwed up in bad weather events, although I dont know how long I could keep things charged, especially at first ^^'

did you know they're making a new 7SU, but it's not clayman who's making it? the name of the game is 7th stand user 2: fate is unbreakable. They're still doing it, but they released a demo in 2019 and are about to release another demo soon.

The stand I got was Pharaoh's Sanders so in fights with lots of enemies at any range I was basically unstoppable lol, sadly in situations not involving combat I couldn't help much
I've done more playthroughs and I got the other two swarm stands which has genuinely lead to me learning alot about myself specifically with specials constantly showing up whenever my character is confused emotionally as they seemed to understand me perfectly and explained things much better than I could

The stand I got from the test was Deep Purple, a Close range Control type stand that manipulates the air around it. It can do all kinds of stuff with the air, including poison it, create fire with it, explode hydrogen and oxygen particles, change the air pressure, etc. And what it said about my personality was as accurate as it gets.

Also, WR completely controls the weather in any way, so Weather Report is a more powerful stand overall. Weather Report is one of the most powerful stands ever shown in the series, no joke.

@@amadeuszmajewski3551 I will say that Weather Report's stand is indeed something involving rainbows, and it's name is Heavy Weather. It's practically as op as it gets. It can control subliminal messages via light, by bending the light off of water particles in the air. It doesn't *actually* turn people into snails, but more just makes people believe their snails, and since they completely believe and perceive themself as a snail, they "become" a snail. So I just finished the personality test for this game and it’s spot on. I got Sonic Youth as my stand, a music related stand for a cheerful Happy go lucky person that gets fooled by sob-stories and is sentimental.
I actually died at my first playthrough at the kakyoin fight i accidentaly skiped first 3 questions and got adam ant and then i needed to reset because i died and have not saved answered all the questions and got joykiller im happy with it
Im sad that some stands dont have a lot of outside world interactions, like mine is a explosion pen thing and i cant do anything, that is why your experience was more fun.

As cringey as it is I really like custom designing ideas for stands based on my personality. So this game is right up my alley. Something I've always longed for is a game like this, and I actually heard of it a while ago. Never played it and it takes a real MOOD to get me to play JRPG's, since I'm a very reflexive and action oriented person. Hey, I wonder if there are any questions like that on the personality quiz!

I adore this game beyond messure, and I'm happy to see a video like this singing its praise. My first playthrough a long time ago landes me with Cartigans after an honest answering of the quiz, and I loved the stand deeply, then not too long ago I decided to play again while once again answering honestly and getting the same stand, and I'm glad I can go through my own kind of story in such a game. Probably gonna finish that playthrough after having watched this video. Godspeed.
Aahh truly. 7th Stand User is a wonderful game. And yes... I too am dissapointed in WOolie doing something that can, honestly, just be called a regular Woolie move. There's a reason he and Pat did the Eyes of Heaven LP as a sort of "Settings things right" LP (which is why the animated intro is what it is for EoH). But man I remember my first time playing the game, not the stand I got or how it went because of how long ago this was, but the feelings I felt playing it. The joy, the wonder, the moments where I went "Aha! I rememebr this from the anime so I'll use it to my advantage with my stand!". Thanks for reminding me of this game Lo. I think Imma sub to you, and go replay 7th stand user, to get ready for the sequel that's being made by another team.

EDIT: One thing I also have to mention is that that same test is DEADSHOT-accurate. I got the SAME STAND (Quicksilver, A.K.A The Wave Cannon Strapped To Your Arm) more than *_THREE TIMES_* even when I chose different answers.

I used to play this game but after sometime i stopped playing it before i finished to entire game and then something happened to my pc and because of it, i lost all of my data in my pc and as time passed by i remembered this game again but couldnt remember its name so i decided to search for it. i typed a ton of things to try and find it and finally i typed 'jojo game where you play as your character in the story of p3' and found your video so thanks for making this video and helping me find it

im so glad you covered the 7th stand user, i played it like 6 months ago, looked up some gameplay and found like 0 videos.
When I first played 7thSU the stand I got was Adam Ant and while a but underwhelming at the beggining, it becomes a DoT powerhouse aswell as having a long range-multi target basic attack and *3* unique status effects

Also the R Version changes random encounters out with spawning wandering enemies that will seek you out making grinding better and random encounters not annoying (because they don't exist) also makes it easier to grind specific enemies
This REALLY makes me want to play this game. Also love the shade being thrown at Woolie for being a salty bitch about his CANNON stand. You can pretend it was wrong all you want Woolie, doesn't change the truth!
Edit: I downloaded the game and did the test as best to myself as I could. I feel like I got the most accurate result that I could get to myself.

honeslty, as someone who loves the concept of unique stand ability fighting in JJBA, YBA was the best jojo game I've ever played. however dumb of a choice it may seem, it was just so fun knowing that you could possess any of the stands you wanted and it was based on gacha.
I'd just love for an official company to make something similar.

I just started playing yesterday and got Cardigans, The funny thing is I wanted to diversify the cast so I chose the Chubby Male body, so my head cannon is that he's like Marvel's Kingpin (Looks fat, all muscle) and is a tanky healer (Currently just beat *poneref*)

Meming aside, I love this game. I discovered it a few weeks ago, and decided to play through it myself. I ended up getting the stand that supposedly corresponded with Polnareff, The Joykiller. I also gotta say, because of that choice my protagonist was very different from the one you had in your playthrough. The fact that each stand available changes all of the player character dialouge, as well as the endings (seriously, there are 54 total variations of the high FP endings alone, not including the multiple secret endings and true ending) shows just how much work Clayman put into this game. This game is a passion project, made by a fan for fans and that's what makes it so awesome.
Also I got the ending where you save Avdol. My boy deserves it. Being able to fight God from final fantasy with Me, Avdol and Not!Hol Horse was very very fun, albeit a bit tedious to grind since I insisted on beating it legit instead of beating him to death with Car's severed arm.
Pharaoh Sanders user here, i've been spending the past 20 hours frying everyone around me with thunderbolts that would make Zeus jealous and i'm absolutely loving it.
This game AND this video are underrated as hell.
Anyone else find themselves replaying the personality quiz over and over again not because they didn't like their stand but because the personality didn't match them at all? XD
First stand I got was Napalm Death. Okay, cool stand and the personality description sounds like me. But then the character spoke and it didn't sound like me at all! XD Same thing happened again when I retried and got Adam Ant. Description sounded kind of accurate on paper, but the personality just didn't match in execution. I found myself retrying the test multiple times because I was obsessed with getting a character that actually sounded like me, while completely ignoring the stands associated with the personality XD The ones that I felt most closely matched up with me were Red Garland, Deep Purple, and Howlin' Wolf. I ended up settling on Howlin' Wolf.
And that's why I don't like personality quizzes. :/ I'll never play 7th Stand User because of that.
Oh no I just realised Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has those too. Another supposedly amazing game that I won't play because I'm not good at describing myself. >_< I guess blank slate protags are better for me then? That or pre-determined characters, completely separate from you. But those "this is you" protags oh no please no >_
@@robertlupa8273 Don't let that stop you from playing! It's still a really good game! Just look up the answers to get whichever stand you think is coolest XD
And don't worry about the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon quiz, it just decides which Pokemon you play as. The rest of the game is just the typical blank slate character. As a kid, I would look up the answers to get the Pokemon I wanted instead of answering honestly XD
Specifically, I think the most important part of self-insert narratives is treating the self-insert as a character in a story. They need conflict and flaws, as well as a proper place in the story.
I still come back and rewatch this video all the time, I'd love if you did a full playthrough ❤️
