Aw it sucks Erin damaged a lumbrical but it's nice to hear about them as you hardly ever do. I tore my 4th lumbrical at the start of June on a 3 finger drag and it has sucked so bad. I'm only now getting somewhere with it after 6 months. Nobody even knows about them it's all pulleys and tendons, but a lumbrical tear is horrible!! Nice to see she can climb like that but have a certain shape that she has to avoid. Makes me feel better than I'm not alone at the moment when I've felt 100% in some areas and 0% in others with the hand. Great video as aaaaaaalways! (Only 8min through so far! 😂)
@thenayancat8802 yeah it's really odd! The worst thing was I self diagnosed over 48 hours and nobody in the doctors or hospital had even heard of a lumbrical. Took x-rays and an ultrasound 2 weeks later, and the only person who knew what a lumbrical was was the hand specialist who did the ultrasound to confirm the tear! I'm good now but can't 3 finger drag or Gaston with right hand. Very odd one!
i injured a lumbrical training 3 finger drag on a hangboard a few months ago too wanted to see a doctor about it right away but the only one in my vicinity was closed for two weeks after i injured myself and i never bothered going to one further away thankfully, it's recovered well enough with some rehab exercises (though i need to be more consistent with those) and i can do limit bouldering again but still need to be careful not to accidentally slip into drag the snap in my hand is not something i think i'll forget anytime soon though >~
@@johntheguru Aye, I self-diagnosed from a Hooper's Beta video, the differential diagnosis was super clear. To be fair, things like pulley injuries and lumbrical strains are things that are really freak injuries outside of climbing. Even most sports physios don't have a clue.
what is the layout of the tension board you have? i don't know if my home gym's TB2 in the US is the same as yours. Also, I've been a huge fan of your videos since I started climbing a year ago. I just have to ask if there are any specific things you worked on around V4-V5 level to improve.
lol also got a lumbrical injury, my first injury since i started a year ago. not a lot of info online, so good to know to be cautious of undercuts as well now!
Hoppers beta has a really good video or two about them. It's how I was able to diagnose myself with a lumbrical strain. Very clear about the causes and how to make it better.
Complain louder and louder. There are a few different crops of the board, and depending on what you get it can be under $10k. I think the cheapest possible set with all the holds is $5.3k
Nah it's easy. Just pull up with both hands. Stay where you are with your left and grab with your right 😂 The separation is crazy. Looks almost like a robot.
I see Erin, I see Louis, I click like.
I see TB2, I click like.
Great video, Louis! Happy you all enjoyed the board!
Nice boards
Next Board Lords episode across the pond?

Ayee first time seeing a sikh in climbing vids keep it up!
I love how soft spoken Erin is. She's awesome!
Bumped into Erin last week in my local gym. She is so sweet and humble. I was intimidated but also inspired. Lovely video.
Louis was even being supportive with them catching him in the intro 😂 nice video guys 😎
Harveer came to my local climbing gym because we had a little competition going on. He absolutely crushed it, cool to see him on here
Louis and Erin are funny together because their energy levels are completely opposite
Harveer is a beastttt lets goo nice video!

Yep, such a weird injury, though great in a way as you can mostly climb through it with no worries

@@thenayancat8802yeah I injured a lumbrical for my middle finger a year ago, it’s perfectly fine except for monos, still can’t mono without pain

Sheesh, climbing with any hand injury is brutal, props to Erin for that.
I like that wall, looks very versatile.
Booked a weekend in Kendal for my birthday in January, can't wait to try both bouldering sections
Always nice to see Louis keeping up with the Olympians😊
erin is always so calm lol even the way she climbs feels thoughtful
I'm off to Kendal this weekend, looking forward to giving the problems a go! And checking out the new bouldering area!
So much fun to watch thank you.
We love Erin. Also had no idea KendalWall was such a gigantic facility! Will have to pay a visit.
Please do not break Erin 😮
I love your colab ❤
Im new to climbing but love wstching Louis.
Hope to see you at liverpool climbing hangar
Then you get wads like the Wheeler brothers flashing 8B on this thing lol, gnarly
Honestly Tension board is way better than kilter. Tension board for me is like a giant hangboard, you save a lot more skin.
Nice to see harveer on the channel
It seemed like all of them were tired, but still gave it energy, at least as much as they could.
Nice video! Wish it was symmetrical, love that about T board + then I could try the climbs on my local gym board.
love your videos, big up and ... erin you r great :)
Hope the lumbrical gets better Erin!! They suck. Hoping for a speedy recovery. Was such a pain when I did mine
v5 for a moonboard 😂😂
Great to see a sengh climbing!!!!
Lumbrical injuries are so funny. 4 finger? Absolutely fine. 3 finger drag? Agony
The anotomy of the lumbricals is pretty fun.

Hope you recover soon Erin! And Louis should apologize for picking that V11 undercling, just after you said that would be painful...
Erin op, such impressive up and coming climbers!
house music in the background worthy of the zara playlist
Erin is so McNice!
How can we make more gyms to get those boards? Happy to chip in really but we need at least some in London and generally in Europe
We did that our gym (at Uplift Climbing here in Seattle). We all chipped in and got our name engraved on a nice plaque that's now right by the tb2 :)

Theres one going up in The Font Borough!
i dont think its really possible to have a v5 on tension board in 60degrees lol
sick climbing
WE NEED MORE ERIN AND LOUIS!!!!!
🗽 Unfortunately we have not that kind of training board in my gym.... they said it is too expensive for a climbing gym. 🤔
.
7:34 ID is a tune
If there are any non climbers I need you to understand how absolutely ridiculous the move at 8:08 is.

Good video but they looked a little shy.. you had to try n bring them out of their shells with your strong charisma
Ink set a boulder that went straight to the treat bag
nice one
ERINNNNNNN
Erin is super strong.
It's difficult to believe but I think that Louis weighs more than both of them combined. LOL
I went to kendalWall once and like 2/3rds of the bouldering area was closed because 3 people were setting. Most ridiculous shit I’ve ever seen
No matching please!
Just checked in the app and The Division Bell does not have no matching set.

So cruel to pick so many underclingy climbs 🥲🥲🥲
