@@solojinglesradio1 Yes, but apparently for some time afterwards they broadcast some of Sky Channel's pan-Euro targeted programming under the branding of "Sky Europe" before Eurosport started. This was due to Sky Channel/Sky One reorienting itself towards the UK only, and Eurosport subsequently replacing it on European cable systems.

I believe a testcard (of some kind), because the Quantum Channel didn't exist in 1989. Too bad I don't have a provement of it, because this recording started a minute to five (six here in Holland).
I believe the change to Transponder 4 meant on the ASTRA satellite at 19.2 degrees east. Eurosport started broadcasting 18 hours a day.

Eurosport Started In 1988 On Sky Europe Until They Goot There Own Channel They Was The Number 1 Sports Channel In 1989

at night, on Eurosport was an TV schedule for the next day.
