- Reaction to Lovebite's Edge of the World Song Live from Zepp DiverCity Tokyo
So many styles in this performance - wonderful vocals. Pieces of Iron Maiden, Coheed and Cambria, Judas Priest, Metallica - the works....nice job.

I am really starting to like this song - on 2nd listen - moved my ranking up to an 8.75. Great track. Please comment down below and thank you all for your support. Sub if you want - have fun and just watch and listen....be safe everyone....
That's suck ass score I give it a 10 straight across the board, what you just heard was a portion and taste to what their arsenal contains. BTW it is Holy War a Lovebites song not Megadeth holy wars song. you are in two songs and there are 50+ songs on 3 albums and 4 EP's. Pick any song and you will be blown away
This song showcases the vocals and their progressive song writing, and especially the lyrics. The message in the lyrics is inspiring. Since Miyako is their second lead guitar and the pianist she can't always play both instruments at the same time so Lovebites will often use a backing track of Miyako's piano part pre-recorded. Other times she will be on the piano and playing her guitar part in the backing track. However, there is one song where she DOES play both the guitar and the piano at the same time - Burden of Time.
At the beginning the guitar was Midori. The one on piano/guitar that is Miyako. The piano though the song was a backing track.
Really like how the song progresses. Great composition! 🤘🙂🐺
Try Swan Song - ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html or Break the Wall - ua-cam.com/video/G021aP2ao6Y/v-deo.html
No bad or weak track or performance by this band. This is their level… always.
I liked it Alek - I do need more song comparisons.
Miyako was on the piano, and Midori was on the guitar in the beginning. Other songs with piano includes the Swan Song+Chopin's Etude, a classical-influenced power metal song, and Empty Daydream, more of a rock song, but so good. Frozen Serenade, a power ballad, currently no live or mv videos available, but there's a fan-made mv available.
🔥🐺🔥
Miyako on piano, Asami came in on vocals, then Midori came in on guitar before they lit it up. The piano fill parts toward the end were prerecorded loops by Miyako and controlled by her foot pedals while on guitar to add delicious filling to this pastry.
Makes sense...thanks saturday
Yeah, they have a lot going on all the time. It's a real juggling act. Amazing performance, as always!
Nice reaction. Also don't worry, Edge of the World is one of their most popular songs among fans as well. We love them all though.
Also try Unlucky Morpheus for another cool band from Japan. Black Pentagram should be a good start. ua-cam.com/video/sKDjZ_pyeng/v-deo.html
Thanks for the suggestion
A hell of a performance. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wolfpack saying hi, stay LoveBitten ! 🤘🐺🤘
Thanks Brandy - I am bitten.
I guarentee Swan Song with chopin Intro will top this for you
LOVEBITES - Edge Of The World lyrics:
Why do we learn to hate, deceive and lie, hurt each other?
Why does it never end? The sorrow keeps on repeating
Wailing, come downpours of the rain
Will it end? No one ever knows
Wondering, what only time can tell
What is at the end of life?
Why do we only see our own desires? Greed is endless
Why is there authority when there is no justice in their rulings
Struggling like feeble, helpless fools
Will it end? No one ever knows
Wandering, not knowing where to go
Carrying the breath of life
Standing at… The Edge of the World
As long as you're still alive, remember
- don't fear standing up, don't ever give it up
Until the day you meet your end, it's not over
- let your soul shine inside of your heart
As long as you're still alive, remember
- keep your dignity, stay true to who you are
Until the day you meet your end, it's not over
- let your heart love and always be loved
How you live will always live on
As your way of life, forever
How you live will always live on
As your way of life, forever
How you live will always live on
As your way of life, forever

lyrics: asami

arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)

For your next Lovebites reaction you should go back to their heavy sings, especially their newly released song "Set the World on Fire" ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html

Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites, even though it’s your second reaction to them. Yes, these women are extremely talented, skillful, real musicians and so versatile. As you’ve witnessed, they really shine in their live performances. They’re five of a kind. You’ve just scratched the tip of the iceberg.
I am seeing that so far Martin....
Many of Lovebites live tracks have excellent backing. I am always amazed at the post production on Lovebites live DVD's/Blu-rays. It is the same people who post produce Night Wish. Thank you for your analysis and reaction.
Makes sense - great bands the both.
This one is my top 3 from Lovebites, especially that 'crying' guitar solo by Miyako. And yes, sometimes they use backing tracks (for piano, strings or synths part).
The next song to react, "Swan Song" with Chopin Revolutionary Etude intro
I added that Dino
@@masseysmaineentertainment Swan Song with Chopin Etude is probably their centerpiece that best highlights Miyako’s awesome classical and concert level piano skills. Remember, children in Japan are required to study music in school and Miyako’s parents started her on piano when she was 3 years old. It shows with the very difficult Chopin Etude!
@@masseysmaineentertainment Here is the link to use, to make sure you get the one with the piano solo intro: ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html
The piano backtrack was recorded by Miyako and she has a foot pedal to loop it in when needed or wanted, hey a musical savant what else do you expect from her. If you really want to experience her on the keys and guitar try Swan Song with Chopin Etude intro LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html), classical piano and metal blended as only this band can and Asami does her swan dance at the end (she is an ex-ballerina student). Another great track is Empty Daydream LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html) which has everything this band is known for. If you want some old school Rock/Roll with an insane guitar battle (actually it last so long it is really a war) try Scream for Me LIVE ( ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html). This band will become totally addictive after a few more songs, flawless perfection is always the result of anything this band performs.
I just added Swan Song.....

Miyako started on the piano Midori was on the guitar then they both were on guitars
Asa.mi uses her ballet training on stage with all her body motions that flow
The Goddesses are Awesome ❤ to get a true sense of Miyako's piano skills, react too, " Revolutionary Etude + Swan Song " 😎🥁🎹🎸👌
*_SLAYER_* ---> Lovebites - Break the Wall
*_IRON MAIDEN_* ---> Lovebites - The Crusade
Nice!!!
Please do not compare these young women to anyone ! They are the LOVEBITES and are so much better than all the other bands past or present. These are the LOVEBITES !!!!
In fairness - the bands compares themselves by saying things like 'we are influenced' or 'we are fans of' - there are no modern musicians who can lay claim to having no musical influence from another band and thus draw comparisons. Lovebites is a great band nonetheless.
@@masseysmaineentertainment Yeah, of course. Some fans like to exaggerate. But they are awesome, no doubt.
Not a 100% fan of the singer but have always liked their music.
Love these ladies, Japan is setting the rock world on fire. If you like power metal you need to check out Vancouver's own Unleash the Archers. With astounding musicianship and the one of a kind vocals of Britney Slayes I think you will love them. Start with their full band playthrough of "Awakening".
I have Unleash the Archers schedule for mid-next week.
