"Don't broadcast when you should be tuning in" Words that soooo many people should really pay attention to! Definitely a real life lesson when you're part of an MC or MO.
Yeah, but there IS free speech. Better to ignore ignorant comments than try to control them. That just brings out your pretentiousness lol. You can't control other people, no matter how much you want to.
Hats off to your club. I had an easy childhood with loving parents. But I have many friends who weren't so fortunate. Kids are the most precious among us.
My wife and I have been members of CMA since 2008, and we NEVER climb on our bikes without our colors. We are honored and privileged to be a part of the ministry that we're in, and always represent our Lord and Savior! Love y'all and your videos! Keep up the good work brother!!
Same goes for me too. I'm always wearing my colors when I'm out riding and if I'm not riding I try to at least wear one of my t-shirts with our patch on it. I've contemplated wearing my colors a lot more than I do like if I'm not riding
I know you are a man of integrity and courage. How? Because you take any comment, respectful or otherwise. You don't block nor threaten. You aren't afraid of other people's verbal assaults because you are secure enough in yourself. I am not in an MC and, truthfully, I don't know if they would want me at my age (65), but whatever. When I see the most angry comments, it makes me wonder why they are so angry. Jealousy? I would not be surprised.
I'm not part of a M.O. or M.C., but I was a United States Marine for 20 years, and I ride. This is like going to a Marines funeral and not putting on that uniform, you don't get to decide if you are still on active duty, so I get this 100%. Ride Safe Brothers.
I'm a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. I always wear my cut when I go anywhere. My finances uncle, who was a Vietnam Veteran, passed away a couple of years ago. I told my fiance that I'd like to try and set up a Patriot Guard escort for his funeral, but her aunt said absolutely not, because it had to do with motorcycles. Well, I still wore my cut and wore them with pride. Because I wear it everywhere I go, one of our neighbors recently joined the PGR as well. I want to thank you and the Mrs for what you guys do with your organization. MLLH&R Mr. & Mrs. Monkey. Ride safe and proud.
I understand what you said , you saw the light , to wear your colors , back in the early 80’s was a patch holding biker , walked , talked , had several bikes ,flew my colors every where , if I rode my pan , and I did ride it almost everywhere! But to ride and not wear my rags , was like unthinkable , unless, I was out far from home in uncharted country, then I might have them on under my leathers , but my chaps had the name down both legs , that only happened once , I pulled into a gas station late at night off 81 in pa. I had just moved there and didn’t want to get jumped by a rival club , as I was alone , and just trying to sneak thru, but I’m at the pump , put the stand down and as I’m going to the pump I saw the bike ft wheels sticking out from behind the station , and I thought here it comes …and was pumping gas , and here come 5-6 , 16’s walking towards me and my my bike , we got along with them in N.J. fine , in Maryland , ok , but iffy , and this was PA . unknown , but they all liked my big ole 50 pan , it looked boss, 6” over wide glide , 3” risers for the biggest apes made , a 21” ftwheel no frt brake , hard tail and they was sayin nice bike bro , makin me feel all is wel my club name down both legs KNIGHTS M.C. in red and gold , gothic style 4”tall letters , they said nothing , as this big guy was lookin at my carb set up , he went to stand , and the right end of the throttle caught him in the ear , I knew that had to hurt , but he said nothing but praise, for me my bike , then another , rubs my back tire which was ,all but shot , and sez your gotta get a new skin here soon , as I rubbed the top side , ole I , got miles on her yet , they all broke out laughin just the way I said it I guess , they al gave me a wave , and see ya later bro , like I was part of them . But I was for a minute , thinkin this might , end well , but that was my only spooky experience with them , as they all , whole ocean county chapter, and afew from ny , came to our run at the chicken ranch , in N.J.every year ( they had made a deal with the boss to have their colors on their belts, and not a one said a word about it , they drank ate and laughed at our jokes , told me I was really hard on prospects , as 2 of the guys did something stupid , and the boss told them they had to prospect for this run , and only to our patched members , so the one night they had to wear a huge pumpkin over their heads, eye holes cut out so they , looked goofy , and I’m close to the fire sittin in a chair , and I saw my buddy , who was prospectin that night , he’s carrying a 5 gal bucket , for a member to piss in , me , and doggedly comes over to me , and I looked him in the eyes and said I don’t want you lookin at my junk and spun the pumpkin was look in somewhere else , a continued to piss on his leg , below where his boot stopped it before he got wet and the bucket , those guys laughed , and sed you guys are hard on yer prospects , that’s how we do , I said , and they laughed some more . I loved that brother , as he knew I was just bein an asshole , makin sport of him , but had he he been in my boots , he would have done the same , l still se him every once in a while , but man , the club , was a once ina lifetime gig ! And even though the club has lost most all it’s founding members , there’s sitill some of us second helpin , bros around and we are all gettin old , we still remember , all the good times , and there was always , lots of them !!!
As a grown man of 50 , I would find it nearly impossible to be told you must do this you can't do that . Yet you did it not for yourself but for somebody who may need or require some help . That takes a very special person to set aside his feelings in order to serve those who have suffered greatly. 👍 Good job man .
Both the kids and especially people with abuse on their minds need to know that there are people who care and are watching. Keep on rocking the colors.
Hey man, as a nearly fifty-year-old budding "motorcycle enthusiast," I appreciate your content. This story of yours seems to be relevant on a much broader scale. I understand that your story is very specific situationally, but it is something I've been learning in my own life. Walking alongside my wife while she died slowly from ALS triggered some massive changes for me. One of those changes came through a similar conversation that I had with a buddy of mine, where he pointed out that I was looking at life through too many lenses, and that I needed to simplify by figuring out my values and living by those alone. I settled on Authenticity, Integrity, Ability, and Grace, and I live my life now through only those values. What happened though, is that I have found that honoring those values means that I don't get to choose when to be who I am anymore. If I don't represent those values in every situation, I fall into conflict, and fear is almost always the only reason I fail at it. So I found myself really relating to your story and understanding the message as a familiar one. It's about creating the kind of character it takes to fly your colors or stay true to your values, and this is another example of how community is sometimes required to keep us on the path. Keep the shiny side up man. be well
Good morning Rob, I am truly sorry for your loss. Thank for sharing your story. You seem to have a good perspective on things. You are right. If your going to play in the MC world by wearing a cut then you definitely have to respect there bylaws and culture. 👊🇺🇸
This hit me hard as well. I wear the same colors and have been to local bike nights, and I don't always wear my cut when I am not specifically working the mission. But this video was very eye opening for me. Thank you.
I needed to hear this. I am new to the community and didn’t want to seem disrespectful or out of place by wearing it places that I wasn’t with my brothers, but what you said makes total sense. You’re representing and organization, a family alone or not. Great video.
I too am in a MO that empowers children who have been abused, the weight of our cuts is a heavy one but so worth it. I get far more out of it then what I put in, there is no better feeling then seeing those kids come out of their shell and begin to smile and have fun. Being a part of the mission is the best decision I ever made as a biker and as a man.
Man I was an abused kid in about every way you can imagine. I've rode for years never with a club or anything I've always felt alone in a crowded room. But in riding I find my peace. 5 years ago almost six I gave my life to the Lord I don't drink don't smoke or do anything. I've always wanted to join and organization to help kids. But it's hard because I ride alone due to not partying at all and I can no longer live that lifestyle. Would be awesome to be a part of something bigger and find new ways to share my testimony and how good God is. Sending much love from Alabama. God bless you and may you always keep the Sunny side up.
I Love your show and all the different comments . Interesting to say the least . I enjoy going for a bike ride down the country side . I came very close of getting hit from a deer🦌. Too close for comfort.
Good video, I ride with an organization that escorts veterans on their last ride , when invited by the family and proudly stand a flag line or a final salute . I have a cut that I wear every where because I’ve had people ask about how they can get our services as well as wanting to join, the organization started when a church in Kansas decided to protest a funeral for a veteran and several good men decided that the family should never have to experience that again and they won’t, it’s grown tremendously over the years till we do honor missions for our vets especially those in convalescent homes, let them know that their not forgotten. We know our place and have gained respect from most all clubs out there, and we give respect, because we’re all part of a community that a lot of people will never get to know, so yes wear that cut everywhere you go, the greatest thing is when this very elderly lady hugged my neck at a restaurant and just said thank you, that was the whole reason I do this, thank you for putting this out there
@Hog Davidson I stood in a line outside a church in Parkersbug, WV when a young soldier came home after giving the ultimate sacrifice and that church from Kansas had members who were planning to be there to protest his funeral(maybe you were one of those riders)!!! If I remember correctly, there were 150 Patriot Guard riders and over 2,000 citizens of the local area standing all around that church that day!!! The Kansas church people were in Mineral Wells, WV and turned tail and ran back to Kansas that day!!!! They never showed their asses anywhere near that funeral!!!
I rode with Patriot Guard for the first time yesterday, and it most assuredly won’t be my last. Was a very somber, but very assuring experience to see the widow of the gentleman who passed come and hug my neck going “thank you for being here”……like I had to keep from crying, because I know a lot of folks who’ve served, who’ve passed that didn’t get what we gave her. I’m going to be buying a cut and patches here soon, and will gladly rock the colors for them.
thanks for the talk. i am 68 years old and a patriotic American citation. have been all my life. i have never belonged to a MC. but have a few friends that are. they are the most down to earth people on the planet. and i respect them. i have driven motorcycles all my life off and on. i am not just getting back into riding and building/repairing cycles. have been a master auto mechanic all my life, but love the heck out of all motorcycles. mostly i just keep my mouth kinda under control as much as i can when the biker club members come around. like i said, i am good friends with many bike club members. but i know to keep my place around the club members and let my friends defuse any trouble i seem to get myself into more often than i care to admit. i have been straightened out a quite a few times by the biker club members and i always listen to them and take heed to what i am told. yes, been chewed out more times than i like to admit, but i always obey by their rules as they are nice enough to let me know when i get out of line. for the most part MC members are some of my best friends. thanks again for the chat. and i respect you twice as much because you are a bike mechanic and a member of a MC club. thanks again. edwinstarr22
Well said!!!! Rock those colors! The mission you guys/gals do is awesome, empowering those who have been abused.. so if you can rock your colors, be proud of it and the mission you provide! Good bless from another 2 wheeler !
Great words of advise. I just earned my Cherry last weekend and now I’m beginning to grasp the weight of what you laid down. I find great value in the videos you put out - I’d much rather learn from someone’s mistakes than pay with my own blood. Much respect for your years of service to the mission and the Kids! MLLH&R
Love you, love your work. Just need to say, just because one isn’t part of the club/org culture, doesn’t mean that one doesn’t understand it or what your talking about. The understanding may be the very reason that they are not a part of it.
He's primarily referring to those who don't belong to the culture but still for whatever reason feel driven to provide feedback in the form of an opinion or something along the lines of "...nobody's gonna tell me what to do or when to do anything...". 😂
@Scotsman282 He's a big boy...we know he can handle the feedback. I mean...ya know...just a few hundred shy of 60k subscribers...don't get there without having thick (IDGAF) skin.
Good point. I wouldn't say I understand the culture fully but I get the general gist of it and it's not my scene. I'm not big on rules and following protocol. They have their place but I like to follow as few as possible.
I have noticed since I've been to every Leesburg Bikefest , that you see well known clubs wearing there cuts, I give respect to those members..I have never gone without mine, have had people approach me and ask about the organization I ride with which is family based, after chatting we say our goodbyes and see ya down the roads, unless a venue or event says no colors, like you say you have no choice, you wear your colors..with that being said be proud of your colors, make a positive statement, and be who you are, much respect, and see you down the road! Ride safe! Even if we're not from the same club we all are part of the biker community
I was recruited by the Outlaws on one coast and the Pagans on the other. I've never flown anybodys Rag and I never will. I refuse to be a part of any organization that would have me as a member. I love and respect a lot of patch holders, but it's just not me. Much respect for real.
Your recent video on colors has really helped me on a decision on a similar situation. I have been struggling with weather or not to resign my patch. I’ve only a member of the biking community for 5 years but it came along at a dark time in my life and has since helped not only myself but others close to me. Thank you so very much. Ride safe brother... Zeke
Dude you guys have an amazing mission. I love seeing your members anytime I go to rally's or anything. Just knowing that thier presence is in my area it gives me hope for what some of these kids might go through. Rock your colors proudly man
not a member of an MO, not a member of an MC....LOVE the etiquette protocol information. I appreciate all you share and post. Best line, hands down for this video....."If I offended you, I don't give a SH!T"!!.
100% ALWAYS wear your rags! I know you are in the same state as me, and I preach this all the time to my Brothers, whether or not you are wearing your rags, you are ALWAYS a patchholder. At any sort of event, you always wear your rags, and I mean always! One of the reasons I never go to bike week, too many places say "no colors" If you cant accept my colors, you dont accept me, period. We work hard to earn our colors and whatever position we hold in our organizations, wear it with pride, always.
Thank you for what you all do! From a volunteer handler of a certified therapy dog serving our veterans and first responders. Let us all ride on! (Team Bandit)
Here in Holland we (my wife and i) support your cause also, we are no members but wear our support patch proud. Whenever someone asks us what it stands for we give a tiny portion of info and ask if they are willing to visit the website for the whole story. Keep up the good work man, be proud you are making a difference and keep on riding, thank you!
I posted this video on my page because it has such a powerful meeting in my life. It's not only about the "Biker lifestyle but it fits every aspect of being the type of person I want to be able to be. So much of the ability to be able to fulfill that desire to be there for people is just having them know you're someone they can talk to. So this video truly touched a deep part in my soul.
I always wear my cut when I ride! I’ve earned every patch I display on my cut so therefore I wear my cut proudly. I’ve only had one interaction with a MC. The member from the MC said I’m going to let my guys know your in the area so they look out for you. Always a biker! Great vid bro! 👊🇺🇸
I tried riding with brother Vets , but whenever they tried to get organized, the Council of Wives inevitably got involved! They even stared allowing non-Vets. They soon had non-Vets wearing military rank and specialty patches and insignias as a 'sign of support', or because a relative earned it. NEVER WEAR MILITARY BLING YOU DID NOT EARN! That could/should earn a beating on the level as wearing fake 1% club patches bought on Ebay.
Same I just couldn't buy into cvma to me it's a no disrespect but a wanna be mc.. requirement should be a combat vet end of story but once I dug into it you have to a 500cc bike or higher..
Excellent topic, please keep them coming. Flying our rag in public identifies who and what we are. Children don't get to choose if they will be victimized, so "we" don't get to choose when or where we do the Mission.
Good points. I'm a Legion Rider and proud of it. My cut is weathered and my patches are faded because I never ride without it. I'm proud of what we do so why would I hide it.
Dude, I've learned a lot on this channel, but I really can't relate to the organization stuff. All these rules...threats of violence...do this or else!...I GET it...I was in a fraternity in college, the military after college, but it is what it is. I don't give a shit either. ;)
If you are not proud of your club, get out of it. Our club is our chosen family, and we always have our families back. Either be proud of it or get out because you are not worthy family anyway. If you go to an event that is a no fly zone, at least represent your family well going there and going home, but be respectful to others and your cut and fold it respectfully and place it in a locked bag on your bike. Not wearing your cut riding is like the police going to work without their gun and badge. If you are scared to represent your club, you are not where you belong. Monkey I know that you love your club and represent it well, thank you for sharing a story that everyone needed to hear.
Monkey, you guys are doing such incredible work helping these kids. Please always wear that frigging cut anywhere and everywhere you go and be damned proud of that cut as well as the great work that you and your brothers are doing. If anyone ever has a problem with it the problem is clearly with them and not you or your MC!
Love the Captain Spaulding shirt! I wanted to be in a club once. I loved the brotherhood, the tightness, knowing someone has your back. But now, I'm an older, (much older), hopefully wiser fellow. And I decided to not pursue such activities. I'm too old to do all the things they have hopeful prospects do. And frankly bud, I'm not a good ass kisser. I had a bike, an HD, but honestly, as nice as it was, I didn't trust it. I didn't trust a machine that had plastic parts in the engine! You say you're a mechanic, so you know what I'm talking about. The 88 Twin Cam to be exact. Oh yeah, for a ton of money I could have had the engine built like a tank and done away with the plastic. But a ton of money I was a bit short on. I used to just like riding bikes for the sheer fun of it. I've rode bikes since the 70s. All street bikes. I've never owned a dirt bike. Anyway, Weather I was right or wrong to sell the bike, I felt better for it. If you're already in a club, or whatever, then yeah, you belong. At least until you decide you want out. I've always been on the outside, And it seems that's the way it's supposed to be...
Great points and appreciate the stories. For those of us in the community fully understand where your heart was at and what the senior leaders meant. Keep the great content coming.
I only “patch-up” when I’m either headed to or with my group. The rest of the time I do not. The rules are such that any error o could make reflects on the group. I just don’t want to hear the never stopping complaining from fellow members. The harassment package if stopped for a ticket or just aggressively accelerating os not worth it.
I have riden most my life pretty much by myself, occasionally in small groups. But what you said makes a lot of sense about being with an organization and what it means. And of course proudly displaying who you are. I am enjoying learning more about different things in the biker community.
I completely understand 🙏 I know it's a different situation, but under the Nordic biker war in Denmark, it was absolutely no cuts, remained as anonymous as possible, don't walk around with a target on your back... - Peace - 🙏❤✌
The world is full of those easily offended. We call them snowflakes. Fortunately, we here in Florida have Showbirds, close to the same thing, but with luck they head north in Apr/May. Harley had a blank cut, except for a patch in the middle and a line below that said. " If I have to explain it to you, you wouldn't understand". Started riding in Belgium when I was stationed there, sold the bike in 80, bought a new Superglide in 2004, and then upgraded to an Ulltra in 2008. Still have that bike with 112100 miles on it. My Cut is mostly military oriented, or 911 and cop stuff. I wear it once in a while, but sometimes, it's just too damn hot and humid to wear when you are alone riding. Prayers to you for the loss of your friend. He is riding with God now. .
I've been riding all my life but never considered myself a biker. I've never been part of a MC or MO or RC or even hung around people who were. That being said I kinda get it and I thank you for the education.
@@paulhood7316 l agree, and although I’ve been on the outskirts of clubs at some point l can’t understand what is in a 1%er lifestyle that’s more about the actual business of riding and looking after your loved ones than many of us do anyway without feeling the need to tell others to respect us because they will stomp you otherwise. That’s just thuggery. Would love to hear some opinions but I’m not going to risk my face asking anyone too soon
@@goldilocks913As far as the 1%er thing goes, I'm alittle socially awkward and never really feel like I fit in anywhere so I understand wanting to join something bigger than oneself, that closeness with others that really accept you and will go out of their way to help you. On the flip side I'm not going to be told when to ride how to ride and who to ride with. And I'm not down for violence. I will do what I have to to protect my friends and family but if someone is an ass they will always be an ass. Punching them in the face won't change that.
@@goldilocks913 I'm a little late to the party on this comment section, and though I'm not in a 1% club, I am in an MC... and I've been around 1% clubs. It's not so much "respect us" or they'll stomp you... it's more along the lines of "don't disrespect us" or risk getting a beating. 9/10 times its an innocent misunderstanding that can be solved with an apology and buying a couple beers, but when the disrespectful party lets their ego get in the way is when violence may occur. At 50 yrs old, I've seen that happen way more regular nightclubs than any biker gatherings or bars.
I had a member that lived an hour away, (not much presence with our club) he rode all the time, yet he never wore his cut unless he was with us. He claimed it wasn’t necessary if it wasn’t official club business and said he didn’t wanna deal with protocol when we weren’t around (he no longer stayed in the club much longer after we figured it out) but we had a great cause, and I always thought it was great advertising when on the bike wearing your cut. If I’m on the bike, I have my cut, or had, slick back life these days.
Always wear my cut when crusin on 2s with respect for All fallen and or lost brothers. Love your cause. With much love and respect to ya all. Good luck with it all and be proud of who you are! Im 65 and god willing, will be on 2s till the end.👍✌️🤘
Hey Brother Nitro here and My Coat of Arms Motorcycle Organization we wear our colors proudly as its 1000s of years of our family History and Teaching people how to Honor all there Family that came Before.. And yes theres Been times when Ive gotten that call ... Come but do not wear your Colors from 1% er Club .. And yes I took that Advice to Heart . Otherwise Most People have Never seen me without it . Ive had funerals because some family asked me why would you dress this way at your sisters funeral ... For One my Sister had never seen me without it so why would I put a suite shit shirt on to pay Respects to her when she loved me as her Big Biker Brother .. Good One MLH&R
Wise words. I'm NOT a biker, but I grew up around them... including a couple of 1%ers who ended up doing a couple of dimes for their club activities. I AM a member of a couple of communities that have our 'totemic' gear, and I think growing up around bikers helped me understand the requirements. 'You don't get to pick when you are and are not'.... ABSOLUTELY true. When you walked in the door they told you the requirements. You made your choice then, and that's the only one you get. This is your life now. Deal with it.
Thanks for the spark of wisdom. I'm not part of any Riding group yet (mostly due to lack of availability to properly participate) And, I have only been riding for a few months. Just been enjoying the bike and the roads and getting into the lifestyle of wearing the gear and carrying around the helmet etc... ANYWAYS, I just wanted to say thank you for being a part of such a meaningful organization. I totally agree that wearing your colors and representing has such value when you can be that beacon of light for anyone in need. Just being a biker now, I have had people come to me to share their stories, some just reminiscing good times when they used to ride, others telling me a tragedy of a friend or family member they lost due to a motorcycle accident; It made their day just getting to talk to me. Even though there's an ounce of annoyance always having everyone say to me, be careful, ride safe; accepting that as their best wishes I always say - thank you , will do.
Great video... I am part of a religious group patched in by the State Bosses and I wear my colors all of the time no matter what. We do a lot of charity and food distribution and our colors speak volumes about the heart of bikers.
I am not in any club. Just a guy who enjoys his bike. But I watch you often and felt compelled to say I am glad you are out there to listen to. Thank you.
I've been told at a Rally to take my cut off unless I want to get a P . So I did as directed be I respect that club. I also have been able to be a hang around and go to the rallies since 1986
I do not belong to any groups, clubs, etc. I do wear a vest or leather jacket, depending on the weather. I do not have patches sewn on such as 1%, Lone Wolf, etc. I did serve 32 years in our Navy, and I am a 100% disabled vet, therefore have many patches regarding respect for our military, vets, and MIAs. If that offends other bikers, sorry, but I'm not removing them!!
I just saw your video and you brought up a great point. Honor and respect your fallen brother and wear your cut show wtf your comrad was all about!!! And show what your about and like you said help the cause that you are supporting and trying to make a change in. Wear that shit with PRIDE AT ALL TIMES!!!!!
This one hit close for me, with the current state of things in my area. This has been a major thought for me, much love and respect. Fly it loud and fly it proud
I wear whatever I want, I don't want to belong to a club., I don't wear biker gear if I don't want to, I've ridden bikes since I was 11 years old back in 1971, I am an individual not a clone. Bike clubs do a lot of good, but there are rules and I don't need them, at 61 I want to feel free when I'm on two wheels, and they are, 1975 Shovel, 53 BSA 605cc sidevalve special, 56 BSA 600 sidevalve and a few more too here in the UK.
Hey man we wear the same colors after my wife and I earned our patch a bunch of us where at an event and a X child came up to me and told me his story and thank us for our help he rides now ,want to take pictures with his family, so yeah we wear our cuts all the time you never know who needs us , like your videos man
Yup, I'll only not fly my colors unless it comes down from my Nationals that it's a no fly in a certain area. I even fly em when I go to work on base. Colors are earned and always be proud of em.
Since I do not belong to a club, I would be interested in NON MC/MO/MG outlook on flying a cut that is only for remembrance purposes.. My cut is a cut-off jean jacket that (now) has decades of memorial patches on it... I fly it at every rally, but then do not feel the need to wear it all the time... even at the rally. AM I WRONG?
Even though I am not part of a club or organization I find the information intriguing. I have a lot of respect for that culture and appreciate you sharing the story.
Thank you for sharing your insight, and the nuances of being a club / organization member. I road for many years, but don’t know too much about the rules. Really profound and informative for those of us that aren’t in a club, the lifestyle or completely know the protocol and the proper behavior!
Love your Chanel. I've been talking with a gentleman from the local to me chapter of your organization about joining, this is a very important cause to me.
I'm not a biker. I don't particularly care for bikes as much as I do cars. But I do want to have a bike. I'm 19 and although I don't know everything to fullest extent I know that in this situation you need to respect and listen. Don't be worried. If you're a part of a group, show it except in times where it is dangerous
True words of wisdom could not have come from a more well loved individual. Thank you brother for setting the story straight. You are a man that passes on wisdom that many members of this culture need to know and understand we are more and we are that safe haven for what we stand for and believe. Thank you.
I appreciate the information, I believe the organization you are part of, is one I have been interested in for a long time. I had my experiences as a young person. Thanks for bringing light to my eyes! I also understand all that was explained to you and now us / me.
@Professional Monkey I was on with you guys in your livestream this evening and when you thought I was someone you knew, I gave you my actual first name; I was thorough impressed that you said it correctly when you and Mrs. Monkey read it in the live chat! Most people don’t get it correct when they read it, so yeah, kudos!!!
Preach friend…. As myself being part a very large Christian MC you never know who you may run into, someone looking for prayer or just someone talk to. The patch on my back represents Jesus Christ and what he did on the Cross….My daughter asked me the other day, if your just going to get gas why do you have to put your cuts on, because you never know who may see me and need Jesus. That’s for post that video, truly words of wisdom…Fly your colors proudly!!! God bless my friend!!!
I have never been part of a club, but have been around clubs and big Biker events here in Florida. I cannot imagine any other club, dominant or not, starting a beef over your cut, that bears the Organization that Shall Not Be Named patch. I have run into several of your compatriots over the last few years and have never seen any of them be anything but nice. I would also think that any other club that is aware of what you do would support the effort, and not poo poo it because you are wearing a cut with a patch. My $.02 Fly the colors proudly my friend
You are 100% correct, great content and message. Being retired (when I moved down to FL from NY) from a an MC, I only get to rock my color for club events. For me now, that’s once a year when I ride back up to NY for our annual 4 day weekend get away.
I have watched your channel for a very long time, I usually stay quiet but this one moved me. Thank you and all of the organization that shall not be named, you guys and gals are the light in the darkness for those that need it most. Thank you for all the awesome content.
I wear the same colors, but up north in New York. Just want to thank you for this video. You are absolutely correct. Great reminder about the importance of flying your colors wherever and whenever you ride.
"Don't broadcast when you should be tuning in" Words that soooo many people should really pay attention to! Definitely a real life lesson when you're part of an MC or MO.
Absolutely love that saying!
Truer words were never spoken.
That goes for all aspects of life as well.
I'm using that one. That just became one of my favorites
Praise the Lord, I'm glad to hear that.
I was about to make the same comment.

I am sure you nailed it. I really appreciate the support. Keep that dirty side down!
Absolutely! I'm a member of American Legion Riders for my post. We ride for fun and help veterans, their families, and our community's.
I'm not part of a M.O. or M.C., but I was a United States Marine for 20 years, and I ride. This is like going to a Marines funeral and not putting on that uniform, you don't get to decide if you are still on active duty, so I get this 100%. Ride Safe Brothers.
Once a Marine always a Marine.

So you wore your colors even though the deceased family requested you not too? You seem like a jerk. It's not your call at someone else's funeral.
So, Im a new rider. Been riding about 2 years. I dont know any of this stuff. I am personally grateful for the lessons in etiquette.
Thanks for the story Monkey. It sometimes isn't easy having the weight of a cut on your shoulders. "We don't get to choose when to be a biker"
As a grown man of 50 , I would find it nearly impossible to be told you must do this you can't do that . Yet you did it not for yourself but for somebody who may need or require some help . That takes a very special person to set aside his feelings in order to serve those who have suffered greatly. 👍 Good job man .
yeah I like to ride, but there was a reason I was never in a frat in college
Keep the shiny side up man.
be well
Good morning Rob,
I am truly sorry for your loss. Thank for sharing your story. You seem to have a good perspective on things.
You are right. If your going to play in the MC world by wearing a cut then you definitely have to respect there bylaws and culture. 👊🇺🇸
Authenticity, Integrity, Ability, and Grace - Thank you! I just printed those out in large format and am going to hang on my wall. Blessings!!!
Not everyone wants to be part of the club/org persona. In the end, you guys help kids. Much respect.
This hit me hard as well. I wear the same colors and have been to local bike nights, and I don't always wear my cut when I am not specifically working the mission. But this video was very eye opening for me. Thank you.
As a CMA member. Agree 100%!!! Be proud of who you represent!
I needed to hear this. I am new to the community and didn’t want to seem disrespectful or out of place by wearing it places that I wasn’t with my brothers, but what you said makes total sense. You’re representing and organization, a family alone or not. Great video.
@Joe Lyons
Don’t be a follower, be your own man. Why would you want to be disciplined by other men??? Them telling you what to do???
It’s just stupid.
We know our place and have gained respect from most all clubs out there, and we give respect, because we’re all part of a community that a lot of people will never get to know, so yes wear that cut everywhere you go, the greatest thing is when this very elderly lady hugged my neck at a restaurant and just said thank you, that was the whole reason I do this, thank you for putting this out there
@Hog Davidson
I stood in a line outside a church in Parkersbug, WV when a young soldier came home after giving the ultimate sacrifice and that church from Kansas had members who were planning to be there to protest his funeral(maybe you were one of those riders)!!!

Thank you so much for putting this out! It Really Needs to be said and wearing your cut is also honoring the sacrifices made before us!
Great words of advise. I just earned my Cherry last weekend and now I’m beginning to grasp the weight of what you laid down. I find great value in the videos you put out - I’d much rather learn from someone’s mistakes than pay with my own blood. Much respect for your years of service to the mission and the Kids!

Thank you sir!
They have their place but I like to follow as few as possible.
honesty is the best policy. You are an honest dude. Good on you.
Wow, I'm glad I don't have to deal with that kind of BS in life ..
Zeke

Great job explaining the “why” of wearing your cut. Wear it every time you ride!

True talk brother we are who we are and some of us was born into this life..
Keep throwing out those tri-folds!
100% spot on! If you truly earned the privilege to wear a patch, wear it proudly with the respect it and the brotherhood deserve.
Always Riding, Never Hiding.
You are exactly correct!
I would only say if there is a question, then put on a safety pin below you patch.
Stay safe out there…
Thank you for that story bro. The MC life isn’t for everyone but those are a part of it have to respect it at all times! 💪🏽💪🏽
Good points. I'm a Legion Rider and proud of it. My cut is weathered and my patches are faded because I never ride without it. I'm proud of what we do so why would I hide it.
I’m pretty sure I’ve figured out what “ group” you ride with .
Good on ya brother !
I'm not part of the community, but I know what you were saying.... Yes, I was nodding my head. Great vid. Great story teller.
I dig the Captain Spaulding shirt! I am only part an an RG, but we still wear our cuts with pride whenever we ride. MLLH&R
Man that makes so much sense. I’m also a member of an MO in SC and am very proud of our organization. I will wear my cut with pride. Thanks man
The only color I choose currently is an orange slow moving vehicle sign.
Great video. The one thing that never changes is the etiquette in this brotherhood/sisterhood that we belong to.
I am a member of the same MO, I try to wear my cut everywhere. We try to always represent.
Right on!
Big Guy , thanks for this . It reminds of one my sayings that I use on the regular . " Be who you are not who They want you to be "
I completely understand 🙏
I know it's a different situation, but under the Nordic biker war in Denmark, it was absolutely no cuts, remained as anonymous as possible, don't walk around with a target on your back...

My friend... sometime what you have described yourself to be IS the quintessential biker ... just so you know 😏 😉
@@paulhood7316 l agree, and although I’ve been on the outskirts of clubs at some point l can’t understand what is in a 1%er lifestyle that’s more about the actual business of riding and looking after your loved ones than many of us do anyway without feeling the need to tell others to respect us because they will stomp you otherwise.

Been riding 43 years and enjoy anything about bikes.
Yep, he totally didn't get it. He needed to find the door for sure!!!

One of the most important videos you've made to date.
Thank you.
I appreciate that!
I've been told at a Rally to take my cut off unless I want to get a P . So I did as directed be I respect that club. I also have been able to be a hang around and go to the rallies since 1986
I'm since then been a American Legion Rider Fairmount GA Post 305
Luv ya brother, going to my first meeting, in may, of the organisation that shall not be named can't wait to be part of the mission
Nothing like reality from a brother. Your organization is amazing. Keep the mission going ML&R
Agreed... "Always flying, never hiding"
Wear your Cut 👍🏾
IFFI
Been with brothers for fifty years, this was definitely a right place/time for cut. Semper Fi.
AM I WRONG?
Not wrong at all.
Even though I am not part of a club or organization I find the information intriguing. I have a lot of respect for that culture and appreciate you sharing the story.
Love what you had to say, really hit home with me.
Your Brother is obviously a wise man and I can understand why he is usually/always right - loved the story and the life lesson.
Thank you for sharing your insight, and the nuances of being a club / organization member. I road for many years, but don’t know too much about the rules. Really profound and informative for those of us that aren’t in a club, the lifestyle or completely know the protocol and the proper behavior!
Right on!
In an MRA and I always have my vest on when riding even if it's only to work. Had it on over a Santa outfit when I went for a Christmas ride.
My dad was a member of a club I wrote All My Life still do a lot of times I watch these videos because it reminds me of home
I'm glad to hear that. My best to you and yours, bud!
@Professional Monkey
I was on with you guys in your livestream this evening and when you thought I was someone you knew, I gave you my actual first name; I was thorough impressed that you said it correctly when you and Mrs.
