Today’s video is about a beautiful flowering plant Calla Lily, this is an ornamental plant, it comes in red, yellow, white, orange, pink, purple and some shades of pink and purple.
It needs indirect sunlight and moist soil, it grows in zone 7 to 10، it comes back year after year if taken care like heavily mulching, it grows fro rhizomes which multiply every year and you get more plants.
It flowers blooms like 6 to 12 weeks, it is very easy to grow.
It starts blooming after 8 weeks of planting.
They are dangerous for pets so take care.
Fertilize them on monthly basis, it thrives in temperatures between 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
To care them in winter, before the first frost date cut the foliage to the soil level and mulch 2 to 3 inches or you can dig out the rhizomes and store them indoors where the temperature is about 55 degrees Fahrenheit, then you can plant 2 months before the coming spring, don’t water them when they are dormant.

Very nice 👍👍sir ibought some calalilly different colours, and living in Pb.India .I am in UK and will return to India by the end of sept.Can i multyply by its roots as you shown in your video during Oct.month

Calla Lily , if have rhizomes then you can divide otherwise you have to wait until they have developed rhizomes, normally it takes 3 to 4 years to develop rhizomes.
