- I put a bunch of mildly horrible Terraria playthrough ideas on a wheel, and we're going to spin it after every death and every boss kill. They're going to slowly stack on top of each other until it's completely destroyed the world and my sanity. I also added some really dumb time wasting things to the wheel for this one, though some of them ended up being pretty fun.

If someone is curious about the audio in the texture pack it's a voice synthesizer saying:
"Moon Lord is a hardmode boss post lunatic cultist- ...state 'Doom is coming'. After the message displays the screen goes dark and all the objects and walls- ...every time the screen will become darker-"
Basically sounds like excerpt from polish terraria wiki, except it doesn't match with actual wikis

@@sillyman2 eh, it's one of those games where a second playthrough is going to be orders of magnitude faster because you already know the boss patterns and how to deal with them.
I lost it when the trollface showed up during the pillars segment

Also the troll face showed up the moment Wand of Sparking got to the impassable wall, it's just so funny.

With the rng wheel factor combined with the fact that almost limitless things can be added to the wheel. I think that a second playthrough of this with possibly another twist can make more possibilities for more content
Honestly, I kinda like the monochrome Terraria with colorful lighting, makes the game feel completely different. Just take a look at jungle at 3:48, it's so noir and beautiful! Honestly, I'd probably try to play the whole game like this, if only it worked correctly with liquids :(

I love the idea of there being options to just play a different game, that was such a good choice. I hope we can see more of the wheel shenanigans one day as this is probably one of my favorite playthroughs that you've done. I'm tempted to do something similar myself even tho I am terrible at Terraria. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos as it definitely shows!
That first texture pack you applied actually reads the entire moon lord wiki page in polish every time you talk to an NPC

i believe tipsy is actually classified as a debuff, though im not sure if that affects what you were doing
There is no classification for buff/debuff in the game code. The IDS are stored in the same place. The only difference is visual, being the red tint of *some* debuff icons. Other than that - no difference at all.
Even more interestingly, the official tModLoader template for a debuff is called "NegativeRegenBuff" or something like that.

There's been a few really good sentences through this series of unfortunate events "Well, I can stop stressing out about remembering to take my alcohol" is definitely up there.
I have a suggestion for a future playthrough: you have to be on a mount the whole time. Each mount has its unique properties, so I think doing this could be fun.
The moment you get your first mount, you keep it till next boss, after beating a boss you gotta get a new mount.

I think the Plantera trophy not showing up might've been part of the horrible texture pack.
This might actually be the most hilarious video I've seen from you so far. The texture pack during the lunar event absolutely sent me. Well done seeing this playthrough to its end.
I think a stream with these effects attached to something like Crowd Control could be really interesting!
Deciding to make each pillar when defeated get a wheel spin, made it feel really cinematic for me. And the permanent midnight at the end is just so fitting.
Its like breaking the final shackles tying you to the challenge.
Adding other games to it is a really neat idea. Although. one can argue that it is less of a "punishment" and more of a break from the chaos that is this playthrough.
The aesthetic of the hallow at 18:00 is actually amazing. The spiders, wood, and colours of the hallow fit perfectly together. As always great video :)

You could do something similar but get two opposite and extreme conditions when you spin the wheel
Ex:
-10x spawn rate but obtain the zenith
-Can't jump or run, but boosted life regen
-10 HP but gain 200 defense
Ok i am not good at this but we can come up with better ones
That'd be really cool, I'd love to see that.
-Locked to summoner, but you can add in any summoner weapon you want.
-Turn godmode on, but you're locked to pre-EoC weapons.
I'd definitely shy away from adding items, especially endgame stuff. But positive and negative effects sound fun
I do have to appreciate how instead of trying to avoid your suffering, you went out of your way to shove extra spins whenever excusable.
Okay, so, this is probably my favourite series from you so far (though furnace world was golden too!). I have an idea based roughly on this idea... What if, it were only GOOD things on the wheel? As in, is there a point where too much of a good thing becomes a problem? Unsure what it'd be like, but I could see the world and everything else getting much, much worse as time goes on...
Maybe, simply, something you do is sleep to speed up time. Why not remove the sleeping part of it and just speed up time via the tools! That's good! You don't have to wait around for Plantera bulbs to spawn! But wait, you need to end the Destroyer before night is over...
Perhaps there's another one, where you get to reforge an item! Yay! But wait, it already had Legendary... Now it has Broken...
Potions are great, right?? Sometimes they're needed just to end an annoying boss! But wait... Why has it given you ALL the potion effects...
Those are just a couple ideas I could think of to throw on the wheel for an... Anti-Punishment wheel? The Gouda Wheel?
The FF7R part had me laughing. This was an awesome series to watch
Idea for a playthrough: Start with Rod of Discord that doesn't hurt when using it (basically you can spam it) but any normal movement is banned (not just wsad but also things like minecarts)
As for how to make rod not hurt you? i dunno tbh, but i'm pretty sure there is probably a mod or a hack to do that
I think it would be a cool run to not use WASD but all other ways of moving is fine (with the RoD not hurting you)
@@spheal608 i think it would make bosses a little too easy and less fun when you can just use minecart arena instead of constant switching between rod and weapon. Or at least combat would be more interesting. Hooks and wings would be acceptable imo, but not minecarts
Never did I expect to learn something new about BOTW from a Terraria video.
I had no idea rafts could go THAT FAST.
This is the best and most creative thing you've done. It's kind of like a convergence of all your other challenge playthroughs + mythbusters with some of the weird punishment's like copper coins in space and spawn 997 beach balls. Plus you get to trojan horse other games into the terraria algorithm machine. Definitely do this again. Maybe then you'll spin the face reveal slot lol. You could also make a livestream variation of this where viewers vote on a pool of possible effects, although you'd have to leave out the ones that take a while to implement with TEdit and such.

It usually only happens nowadays when I mess with the world size, but I think it used to happen even in normal worlds sometimes.

This was one, if not the best terraria series I watched you completing. I espacially enjoyed the random conditions the wheel provided, even going out of Terraria which was really creative. I'm looking forward to a "rest of the conditions" video in case it is coming!

Another great challenge, WoS. And knowing that FF7R is also one of your favorite games? Hell yeah. I'm just replaying Hard Mode on PC now after 100%ing it on a friend's PS4.
Congrats on beating this crazy challenge which I would probably fail at cause I have never played FF7, cuphead, and only did a bit of Breath of the Wild. Sorta wish there was 1 final spin after moon lord was killed just to see what would have happened though.
I think this concept has enough potential for multiple playthroughs without it getting old. Each time would be a totally different experience, and there are infinite possibilities for things to add to the wheel.
