I have now probably played the new Onslaught Horde Mode for close to 20 Hours since the Update and all of
that is in the Legend Difficulty and let me tell you, Those waves of enemies are no joke the higher you go!
I have asked a lot of people on where their teams are struggling and where they fail the most and the majority is during the waves between 30 and 50 on both difficulties. The boss rooms aren't that difficult though since you can take your time in them and you get the rally flag before entering.
This holds true with my own testing as well that the waves of enemies is by far the priority since you can easily get over run in seconds or the Unit your protecting gets destroyed.
The reason I bring these things up first is because certain builds will work better in Horde mode than
others and we need to focus on a few points.
Any Crowd Control Builds that lock down waves, Any Super Builds that allow you to generate Orbs of power for your fireteam and loop Supers for the whole team, and then any Ad Clear Builds that provide some sort of survivability
for yourself and maybe even your team. Then if you can combine 2 or even 3 of those things I mentioned. That's
when you get builds that give you results like this!

IT honestly doesn’t look like too many builds are coming from prismatic with the available options Bungie is giving us, but it should be interesting how’s they’ll work together.

Once again, I followed along step-by-step made a hunter just like yours in the video. My build was not optimized at all and I still made over 200 orbs for my fire team. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your content.

I agree. That thing puts in work! Ran legend for the first time last night with it and it handled everything pretty well. Had almost 700 kills with just graviton and i didn't even have the most kills.
@@chewy232 I had switched to my sunstar arc build and used it up to wave 40 then switched to my CC stasis build and beat wave 50
Nice build! Im use graviton lance with gyrfalcon but wanna try again the orpheus rig in the ontslaught (used orpheus rig a lot before i had gyrfalcon) but what do you think with this build use graviton lance with a void rocket or use this build with a sunshot and apex predator ?? Sunshot and graviton lance are just my 2 baby's they are my favorite weapons and always i cant choose which weapon but i tought the damge from sunshot is not that great in the high round and maybe with 2 or 3 solar surge mods and the infinity deadfall the sunshot is gonna hit harder in the high rounds. Very curious what you or other people think about this.

@@Joe_doesnt_know Wavesplitter gets max damage whenever you pick up an orb of light. You'll be creating so many orbs with this build (plus your teammates will too) that you'll always have the max damage up, on top of getting volatile rounds constantly. It's wicked.

Another one for the energy slot could be the exotic void trace. With orb pickup you super power and reload it. LBH tho, there are a few great options for different types of play.

Dude, when it comes to builds, yours is the best. I enjoy other build videos for variety but if I want a consistent reliable build, I just wait for your videos.

This build is the best in the game. I keep popping super while other Orpheus Rig hunters are just watching me. I’m popping3 supers back to back to back. In the secret tormentor room in legend onslaught I popped 10 supers for 1 run. 8 for another. This build is super crazy. LFG people are tripping out

Same here. Plunder is my go-to for builds. "Plunder is going to have a FIELD DAY on release" was my exact first thought.

you could also enhance your super regen when playing with wishender :) i like to pair it with the new recluse (destabilizing rounds and repulsors brace)

Just used this load out with graviton lance real quick in a 10 wave onslaught and managed to pull 8 supers and help out with revives, as always thank you

Things I've been enjoying in Onslaught other than the obvious strand titan include Peregrine Grieves for the MANY minibosses in Onslaught (I used void), the other is Phoenix Cradle with Ember of Benevolence for team support and ability regen.

Prismatic Warlock - feed the void and Weavers call aspects...and threading grenades. Exotic is swarmers ( plus verity brow If rng blesses with the class item)
Gameplay loop would be threadlings all over the map, threadlings unravel every thing...threadling kills Grant devour for full heals and more grenades...verity gives more grenades as well and boosts the damage of the threadlings

you're definitely right about needing to carry, your arc warlock build from the other day was doing really well and then the next thing i know i'm last man standing and the adu gets blown up
I had a run with two other hunters, flawless run, at least for me, normal though, but I had 767 kills with 527 orbs created. Just absolutely demolished everything. I was previously using almost the same fragment set up but using wish ender instead, and that did well, but nothing compared to this. Still hitting it out of the park with the builds.
I can’t wait for a prismatic hunter build from plunder I have full trust that it will be the best without a doubt because I find that no one can beat plunders builds they have carried me for years so thank you for all that you do plunder because you bring me joy everyday

Yeah void and stasis classes have been my favorite so far. I play hunter but I think I’d use strand if I was on Titan or especially warlock to mainly suspend but it’s just nice using classes and builds to lock down areas now vs the usual oh just kill things or do damage phases.
In the future, could you flash your character screen at some point, to show us your stat distribution? I'm on D2Armor picker now and trying to figure out what to prioritize after Res and Mobilty. Would be helpful to know what you went with! It may have been in the video, but I missed it and don't want to listen to the whole thing again. Was just skimming the pictures at the bottom to see if you flashed your character screen at some point for reference

If I'm not a fan of Graviton Lance, how good are wavesplitter and Manticore for this build?
Manticore after it's recent changes feels pretty damn good, if you could keep up ammo for it wavesplitter would always be at full power and shredding most things
Wavesplitter - orbs give it max power + suppression = shut down aggressive majors. Graviton was good too until the final waves, but the suppression from wavsplitter gives it better utility
Finally I was waiting on these new onslaught build vids.

100 resilience 100 mobility then 80-100 discipline

Do you still post these on mobalytics? I usually find these builds a lot easier to follow in a written form over a video.
Same, I miss things being posted there as it was far easier and quicker to follow than DIM loadouts.
What is your roll on kept confidence? I was under the impression its pretty awful for PVE use.
It's just to apply Unravel from orbs of power from the artifact mods. Then threadlings pop out when we shoot Unraveled targets 👍
I have Buried Bloodline, but not the catalyst yet. Is it any good without it?
How about using Wavesplitter in the exotic slot? Think that would be as effective as Graviton Lance? (I don't have the sidearm lol)
I think wavesplitter would be really strong, I used to use it a ton with similar void builds. I also think vexcalibur and dead messenger could be interesting choices, but definitely not as versatile

Hey. Ty for the build alltho i would like to now what is the super that u using and mods on the rest of the gear. Im trying to get that leg exotic piece but even without him getting loads of orbs and fast super recharge. Played few onslaught games and loving it.
Forgot to say im kinda new to hunter so what should i go for after resilience, mobility and discipline?
@@Mark1607979 Most people go after Mobility or Intellect. I would say not to worry about Discipline and focus Intellect for faster Super charge times. I'm running this build right now with only 26 discipline and the mods explained in this video help a lot with it.
@Plunderthabooty I am curious, do you think collective obligation is another viable option or is that better for a Gryfalcons build?

I tried it today and made some other tweaks. All I can say is, I didn’t use my heavy or my special weapon. Constantly using the suppression leech on tormentors and subjugators makes the game easy mode.

If it’s of any interest to my fellow Hunter mains, here’s what I do (even on console) have two saved loadouts side by side one with Gyrfalcon and one with Orpheus Rigs. Get your tether popped with Orpheus Rigs on wait for that 50% regen and then pop back over to Gyrfalcon for more/better ad clearing. Rinse and repeat this combo goes CRAZY to swap with 🙌🏼💯

I would agree with you if you weren't using buried bloodline. You get the same effect of going invis on every kill without using gyrfalcon when using buried bloodline. And buried bloodline is a slow firing, hard hitting weapon. So you don't get as much out of volatile rounds which works much better on fast firing weapons.
do i have to have orpheus for the entire duration of the super or can i swap as soon as i cast super
@@plootss as soon as you activate the super you can swap, if you're quick with it!....also works amazing with celestial one shot (throw in a dragons breath blast for good measure) into lucky pants swap with malfeasance (or your preferred handcannon) , probably the most powerful combo i've seen for melting literally anything

People are absolutely sleeping on heavynwave frame GLs, like the stasis one from Neomuna or the Guardian Games one. They do a lot of damage and can wipe entire Onslaught waves in just a couple of shots!
Luckpants swap to Orpheus has been really good. Invis to swap if you need to.
For real. So stupid easy and the burst damage is unmatched.
