Love seeing some actual, interesting non-metaslave builds. One of the top things to keep the game fresh is playing around with different builds like these. Thank you.
I’ve been running a variation of this build recently. Mask of bakris just didn’t feel significant enough, so I went the glaive route. WAIT a second before you look away. This build doesn’t really need an exotic to work. Mask of bakris is just a damage buff that you can’t build into, the same way triton vice is an overall glaive buff you don’t really build into. Forthcoming deviance with demo and chaos reshaped allows you to be extremely tanky, gain 20% instead of 10% (or 22% if enhanced) grenade energy per kill, and can do some insane damage. Trust me, it’s good
5:00 use aberrant action solar rocket sidearm. You can craft it with heal clip + demolitionist for heal and ability regen. Now it’s a legendary buried bloodline
Aberrant Action is a good alternative but Buried Bloodline is just to good with a little bit heal on hit and devour on all subclasses for 100hp + grenade regen for each kill
@@xxorcaxx yes but I only suggested this because he specifically left it out and he said that most players don’t have it. He said it right in the video. Then there you go saying bloodline is better lol. Yes it’s obviously better but this is a craftable legendary alternative. You did watch the video right?
I like the pure subclass builds. Prismatic is cool, but everyone is making prismatic/class item build videos. If you do prismatic, use non class item exotics. Love how you did this vid and others, well explained and well paced. I liked the background gameplay showing what you were talking about, like the shard count ect. Only thing i would add is screenshots of the fragment/aspect/exotic weapon texts. Definitely liked and subbed, keep up the good work man
As a Revenant main and Mask of Bakris being my favorite exotic, I've already had this build in my back log of many, trying to find the most comfortable stasis build that i could run in GMs, and personally I prefer Aegis's Scepter double special type load outs, I find that for me, Aegis + Cold snaps give me enough crowd control and that controlling multiple enemy hp bars so that I'll always have ammo is not that hard. Really happy to see someone using Bakris in end game content and hopefully people will start to pull away from Dusk field spam as the only viable Revenant build.
Stasis as a subclass would be genuinely good if THEY DIDNT FUCK UP THE HARVEST ASPECTS BY IMPLEMENTING SUCH A SHITTY FIRETEAM-WIDE COOLDOWN SYSTEM. WHY GOD DID THEY ABSOLUTELY NEUTER THE SUBCLASS?
Follow up rage: PRISMATIC MAKES STASIS TITAN SHARD GENERATION LOOK LIKE SHIT SINCE THERE IS A FACET THAT MAKES A SHARD EVERYTIME YOU KILL A FROZEN TARGET WITH NO COOLDOWN
@Tu57ht yes, I’ve been a stasis main (behemoth mostly) since it came out, though I never was one to abuse it in PvP early on. This is genuinely the worst the subclass element has ever been. Yes frost armor is nice in theory, but if you have a stasis super equipped on prismatic, the uptime on frost armor is much higher since Facet of Purpose gives you 2 stacks up to a max of 5x. Prismatic also has access to the one facet that allows you to reload weapons upon freezing or suppressing and after killing a frozen or suppressed enemy, you generate a shard or a void breach. This has no cooldown at all. so exotic weapons or abilities that can freeze often and you can capitalize on, you generate a shit ton of shards. Stasis, whose sole elemental pickup is stasis shards, has a fireteam wide cap/cooldown on the harvest aspects (the main way to generate shards). You can only create 6 shards within a 5 second period of the first shard before it goes on cooldown for 10 seconds. Meaning if you are a warlock and titan throws down a glacier nade and breaks it, you can only generate a single shard from freezing an entire group of ads with a cold snap. It absolutely nukes the idea of having a decent way to get melee energy back on the class or having more than a single person running the subclass. In the blogpost where this rework was posted, they said it would be a “generous” fireteam-wide cooldown to reduce the effectiveness of triple stack behemoths in the .01% of PvP. Now it’s not even worth it in PvE imo.
Solid build but the core issue with stasis hunter continues to be a lack of exotic armor options. Renewal and Bakris are the only 2 pure stasis exotics and there aren’t many other options.
I've been using a similar build with Fr0st-EE5, but I heavily agree. We got Bakris with BL and Renewal with WQ, so that's 2 years without another Stasis exotic. Even the neutral exotics we've gotten since are just bad or PvP focused. We haven't even gotten a subclass neutral chest since Forsaken or helm since Shadowkeep. Meanwhile, Titans got Lancecap and Warlocks got Balidorse in LF. I hope we get something soon. I honestly wish they'd change Sealed Ahamkara Grasp to be a Stasis melee exotic in some way to parallel Young Ahamkara as a Solar grenade exotic

It is refreshing to see a build like this with old faithful Exotics, This stasis build is pretty rockstar fun. as an option, you could perhaps have 2 part video's ( or 2 separate video's on say Stasis hunter, one like this video, another maximizing what you think would be the best alternative prismatic with a class item &/or any other exotic. Personally prism & class item rolls that make a unique playstyle or gameplay loop are entertaining even as showcases. Just interesting to see what the possibilities are, especially for endgame variety’s sake

I see this build and think to myself Foetracer can do this with no down time on your class ability regen. Sure it won’t buff arc weapons but the same 25% damage buff to stasis weapons applies not to mention creating additional stasis shards with weapon kills on the same element. More fuel to regen your abilities back to you. This build looks solid either way. 👍
My preference is for whatever builds you think are strongest/most fun. Don’t mind if it includes a class item - I’ll grind if the build is good enough.

Id like the pinnacle of build crafting with exotic class godrolls. We are in the endgame of destiny. Show me tge best of the best. Everyone has seen normal exotic builds fir years, yes they are rng, but so are weapons with godroll perks. I cant be alone here, some of your audience might be casuals who thos videos wont apeal to but others have close to every exotic class item roll available already. So do both, but dont forget the pinnacle builds.
@@LlamaD2 that’s what I figured. It would be amazing if you could provide a true end game build that incorporates shatter skating or strand skating. I’m not as proficient with well skating
I will die on the hill if bungie is gonna design a cool looking ability that is sick af in concept I shouldn't have MASSIVE opportunity cost to build around it and I should have more options of ability choice. I know double freeze withering blades were a problem on stasis' launch, I do, but as it stands now the melee's most defining quality is that it slows which depending on how much you value stunning overloads and looking into how cc actually works in destiny can be considered practically useless when you have PLENTY of ways to bully overloads and even more ways to turn enemy A.I. off or just delete them. My point is abilities need to be pretty useful on their own, not rely on a bunch of different pieces to feel remotely useful. Especially when cooldowns feel REALLY bad on certain abilities when compared to how useful they actually are.

Just use hoil/star-eater. Hoil is all you need in prismatic warlock.
Yeah subclass specific lets go!
I've been doing this build for the longest time nice to now what is actually what it does
Wiked need a 20% buf dmg in Gm or slow on 2 hits
stasis ult of hunter needs a dmg buff
can i use an Eyasluna with Headstone and Demo as well? even tho a bold endings would be better anyways
in terms of buidl videos, i dont really care which Subclass, maybe a bit of all so every1 can find one that fits themselvesthe most (?)
If only getting the exotic catalyst wasn’t so challenging to get
Nasty class items combos but optimized ones please
Wasnt frost armor up to ×10 stacks with the fragment? Am i forgetting something?
Maximum is 8
What was that air dodge at 3:36 I’ve never seen that before
That’s the mask of Bakris dodge
Is there any way to justify using shatterdive over one of the other aspects? I tend to shatter skate any moment I can lol
You could sacrifice Grim Harvest for it, but sadly the build does fall off if either aspect is replaced
@@LlamaD2 that’s what I figured. It would be amazing if you could provide a true end game build that incorporates shatter skating or strand skating. I’m not as proficient with well skating
My name is also Zane!! Just a sec. I've got to check dim rq
For some reason though, the grenade recharge from the build is different in activities like Vanguard Ops than on planets.
definitely swapping bakris for frostees for even more grenade energy.
love the vid boss. could u tell me where u get that cloak from your using while showing the subclass setup? cheers
What's ur weapon of choice for ur heavy slot?
Eager sword for general play, rocket/machine gun for harder stuff
WICKED IMPLEMENT USED IN GAMEPLAY 🗣🗣🗣
i cant believe some people think stasis is the weakest subclass like how
we have
cc and aoe damage
we can stun 2 champions
jude cooked ngl
Shatter dive is fun af with this
Replace touch of winter and coldsnap sucks. Replace grim harvest and you won’t have nearly as much survivability. What is there to get rid of??
For some reason though, the grenade recharge from the build is different in activities like Vanguard Ops than on planets.
Ok ok, so Solstice happened recently, and i have a Feeding Frenzy/Headstone roll on Something New. Can I use that?
Certainly!
@@LlamaD2 Good!!
I don’t have final shape so I would prefer seeing non prismatic and no exotic class item builds
