I'm just here for the CVT bashing comments. LOL
Thank you for your unbiased view of the Maxima. I saved a bit and settled on a 2019 Max SL. I bought my wife a 2020 Versa which I call a mini Max because it is loaded with features my Max has. We have leased or owned over 20 Nissan cars. Aside from the many American and German brands, I have always trusted Nissan. I am 79.
You went from young dude who reviews cars to bearded dude who lives in the woods and hunts for a living.
😄 That is called becoming an adult 👍🏼
hahhaahahahh.
Danyel Henrique hunts cars in the wild
haha channel got lame!
Man i haven't watched one of ur vids in a while
Glad to be back!
i brought a 2022 Nissan Maxima Platinum, this car is a car guys everything, makes me smile every time, I see it and drive it, it's fast very fast and smooth, People everywhere stop to look at it, It's a deep pearl blue with metal flake, a stunning thing. Thrilling to Drive!!!! 😊
I own one too. Let me ask you a question. How do you feel the stops and accelerations ?
How is the mpg?
I want to buy a 2022 maxima but they told me that it drinks the fuel like a V8
Idk what anyone is talking about but the cvt on the maxima is something phenomenal, you would have to drive to understand. It’s like when your in a powerband it locks it there for a while so you can just basically shoot off like a fucking rocket when just cruising. I can’t explain it but it’s something I never felt before except for my friends m4.
Can you imagine if this was a dual clutch or 6 speed with awd
Sucks itll never happen. We have to go onto Infiniti for that
Yep. That would be awesome but probably too much ferocity for most people.
NOT EVERY CAR NEEDS AWD there's nothing wrong with FWD you want AWD buy a acura
I've missed this Kyle. Welcome back good sir.
Yes
Welcome back man! Love these types of videos from you, keep it up! 👍🏾
I always love to see your professional vehicle reviews, I hope you continue to make more of these videos I love ❤️ them and it’s fully detailed!!! Keep it up Saabkyle04!!!
Kyle this is such a great review. I appreciate these honest and factual reviews that you are perfect at.
I dove one of these as a rental.. and I was very impressed. I got a lot of double takes from people.
Cool! I was missing your in depth tours
Thank you so much for bringing the original intro back! F*** yeah!! Start her up!!
Whoaaaa!!! This channel still exist. I'm glad to be back to see your reviews. I suscribed to this channel like... 10 years ago I think.
Also, Kyle has beard lmao. We old pal
SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE!!! That Rakuta Tan leather rocks! Thanks for the excellent review Kyle!
Always look forward to watching your reviews 🦝🦝🦝
Fantastic review Kyle!! The Maxima sure has changed quite a bit since my 2001 Maxima rolled off the assembly line.
Great review. Loved the car and the review!👍🏼
I’m glad you’re back you started the car review craze where many on UA-cam had copy. You had set the bar on what a car review should be. I’m not to sure about the beard, lol!!!
I own a 2019 Maxima with the Platinum package. Very nice car and quiet, too. Nissan has really improved their CVT transmission. Thanks so much for the favorable review.
@ArT oF wAr I also owned a 2014 Nissan Altima with a V6 and paddle shifters. It had the dreaded 20 MPH jidder. My dealer replaced two complet transmissions costing Nissan $7K each. The final fix was a module upgrade. Even though I traded it in with a perfectly working transmission, the value of the car dropped dramatically because of its bad repetition. I'm happy to say, I do really enjoy my new Maxima and sincerely hope Nissan has finally perfected their CVT transmission. Thanks for the chat!
This is my dream car I hope u are enjoying it like I wish I could
Don Shaw What trim Altima was it?
@@CarringtonHollister LS 3.5 It was the top of the line when I purchased it. It had paddle shifters and was really nice.
I'm actually surprised with how good it sounds, seems like one those old v6, with I love. It's my favorite Nissan.
BEST CAR REVIEWER EVER
First like and comment I missed your videos 😭you the reason I watch these
I love the Nissan Maxima Platinum Reserve especially the it sounds with that V6 engine 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
I have a 2016 Maxima, the cvt is responsive, no issues so far.
I infact love Nissan and their CVT, these cars are beautiful and peppy...
This will be my second car to buy in 2023.
Great Video review bro! 👍👍
It's just missing an 8 speed direct shift automatic transmission with torque converter. Thanks.
bro this car is awesome
Love the maxima. Though it’s a 16’ platform I think it’s still pretty competitive with today’s market.
Looking great kyle
Dang that looks nice and sounds great
Very cool "NISSAN MAXIMA PLATINUM RESERVE 2020"
Exhaust sound very very cool!!!!😎
Can you imagine a Maxima NISMO with the RedSport400 motor making 400HP and AWD?! Would blow the competition out of the water!
Did Nissan get all the bugs ironed out with the CVT transmission ?
N Maxima, what a beauty? I 🤗 CVT in this v6 actually works well.
Very nice! A friend has a 2018 and he loves it. Sport mode surges the power output and is a lot of fun -- giving the car way more power than you might expect from a V6. I do prefer the retro single exhaust pipes on each side of the 2018 instead of two pipes on the 2020. Overall, a classy sedan while sporty enough for most people. I'm tempted to buy my own Maxima.
How secure are the electronic control buttons against spillages around the cupholders by the gear lever?
Is there any difference between the platinum and platinum reserve? Which is better?
I had a CVT civic many years ago, it was quick but annoying hearing one engine note the whole time
GOOD REVIEW & GREAT CAR.
i love your reviews
I have Maxima SR 2016 and I absolutely love it, 65000 thousand miles on it and still drives like brand new 😎
how's it holding up? and what is your maintenance like? You take it to the dealer for service right?
@@argihispanicamerican7857 it’s holding up great 75000 thousand miles now with zero maintenance, I just take it to the dealership just for an oil change and that’s about it. Still enjoying the car btw
@@johnjay8902 wow, that's great news. I just bought a Maxima 17 so I was wondering how it has held up for other people. Thank you. That is relieving.
Imagine a Nissan Maxima SR version with an AWD VK56DE. It would be a crazy maxima to drive for sure
it's cool!!
めっちゃカッコいい!!
Last time I was this early you didn’t have a beard.
ZR1 LT5 Chris the years go by don’t they?
Jaden Williams Yes it does. Much too fast.
That much and they still place a CVT transmission??
Beo u sound like a car and driver episode! Kinda cool.
I liked it when it came out on 2015
It’s beyond old now even with discounts
Good looking car.
How is it that my INFINITI Q50 is missing a lot of these luxury features, yet my car IS branded as luxury. For less money too
I'd give up features to not have a FWD CVT equipped vehicle any day.
Infinity is a joke of a luxury brand. Nissan's top of the line cars are often comparable or better equipped for the same price! They need to up their game at infinity
@@kevina2052 truth, I'd take a 5 yr old lexus over any new infiniti any day.
Both Infiniti and Acura have been slipping lately. Honda and Nissan have been offering more features and better technology on their high end trims than what their own luxury brands offer. They need to learn from Lexus/Toyota.
Why are you getting an Infiniti if you want a luxury brand lol.
What does the orange light in the driver info system mean
What a nice car !!
Honda Accord Guy 05 I never knew you watched saabkyle04.
Great review, but how many watts of power for the bose sound system? Thanks.
I have a maxima and all I can say is my stereo is amazing! They did a great job on that
6 speed Manual or a Nismo version and then I’ll love this car
Agreed, another great car ruined by that wimp CVT transmission.
Yep, I’d definitely take this if it was offered with a stick shift.
Hector Manuel u can do a swap with nisformance but who the hell wanna pay 10gran lol Nissan is stupid they lost soo much buyers no more fun sleeper cars
javibez I looked online but I couldn’t find anything about nisperformance, can you share more information
Donnelle Bivens hell even a normal automatic
This is my fav Nissan sedan and my fav interior color
You’re on of the best reviewers out there! Love the content and appreciate the informative review!!
Now on to the car: I think it looks good still with the refresh. Interior is nice and luxury looking, if not a bit dated and cramped. But the biggest atrocity is the CVT. For all the looks in the world, the CVT (especially from Nissan) is just a letdown.
Love the exhaust sound😍
I do too. That car sounds like that because it has just over 2,000 miles on it. Wait until it has 50,000 miles.
This one or the Sonata?
The exhaust ❤
Looks think they haven’t changed anything since 2013. I used to drive a ton of these when I was a valet.
Man where you been we was looking for you?
My dream car
A 2019 Nissan Maxima 3.5 V6 N/A FWD would be nice with the SR trim level, orange stitching and alcantara goodness.
One thing I dislike the MOST about the Maxima is how difficult it is to get into compared to other large sedans in the market. It's like getting into a sports car almost.
I always have a soft spot for maximas (3rd and 4th gen tbh) but 45k is kinda steep for a fwd cvt sedan. A lot of other 2019-2020 options at that price range.
Hey Saakbkyle04 will you review the Hyundai 2020 Palisades Limited trim Day time view an night view , please I really love this SUV for my mom who’s 60 + much Love 💕 Thank you for all your hard work you do an the reviews you bring us God bless !
2020 Lincoln Aviator? Vid suggestion
Bro you look good with the beard👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful car greetings from Guadalajara México.
I’m a fan of the design
CVT still?
Nice car. To complete this top of the line trim Nissan should have equipped with electric parking brake with auto hold and pro pilot.
Video Idea: Do a review of the 2020 Toyota Camry SE
Customer: I want stick shift or DCT
Automaker: Heres a 360 degree camera you don't even need
Get a Q

COOL 2020 Nissan Maxima Platinum Reserve: Start up, Test Drive & In Depth Tour
platinum reserve sounds like something i'd smoke
Kyle should do a review on his 2015 gmc durmax and his wifes new jeep wrangler
Why does Nissan have a foot parking brake on a 2020 Maxima.
can you review the Camry xse
We need a maxima Nismo come on Nissan Toyota has a camry TRD can y’all try to have something to compare to ( I still love Nissan though )
@Rashe Nels they’ve never done a Nismo Max. The most we got is the SR trim.
2020 Nissan maxima platinum reserve startup exhaust test drive and in depth tour
I have a 2017.5 maxima sl. All around best car for the money I have purchased used,20 k with 30 k miles. If u look around and buy a good used one it will be amazing value for your money.
45k is a lot or FWD. I had a 2010 and I loved the car.
Wow first time I’ve seen his face happy holidays to all
You never seen his face before? I've actually seen his face when he was younger back in his older videos.
I've just missed you
2:30 From here comes the startups of some nissan cars in roblox greenville (altima, maxima, rogue & kicks)
18:39 theres a spider vibin at the corner of the door
SR trim you get paddle shifters.
Joseph Alexander yes
Nice!
Audio review?
I miss the massive paddle shifters.
Nice car
Wow! I haven't seen you in a while..
Is this more Nissan than Renault?
