EDIT: Few mistakes, it’s not a gauss at all I thought it was at first but nvm. Secondly Maximus is a squire, not whatever I said in the video…anyway I hope you all enjoy this breakdown of the episode let me know what you’d like next!
They aren't near Philadelphia there are in California near LA and that building in the scene the doctor gets beheaded is a building in the LA Airport which was constructed in the late 50's
Also, the dog doesn't magically heal, the ghoul hits hit with a stimpack
@@kevinlopez-gibbs3454 I think Filly ia a town founded where LA landfill had been befroe the War. That is a) not as far from Santa Monica as the East Cost, b) provides a lot of scrap for crafting and building materials for shacks. c) explains an abundance of older cars as they all were descarded and've been sent to junkyard to rust away.
I’m pretty sure that it was not a gauss rifle I believe that is one of the newer assault rifles. It looks very similar to the one in fallout 4.
And the small tighty...not-so-whiteys guy doesn't want to tag along with Lucy, he wants her to stay with him.
I think Filly is just named as such because it’s in a landfill, not a rebuilt Philadelphia
Not to mention it being on the complete opposite side of the county from California lol
I love the bit where the doctor dies and says "Its the most humane product vault tec ever made" which for some reason made me LOL hard
Yeah I liked that too, the man doesn’t care in the slightest what they’ve done lol
a quick death from a product that does what it says it will do, no strings attached? he’s kinda right 😂
"It tasted like banana"
Dude seems to always have a role involving poison and death 😂
the enclave facility could be closer to LA than you think, there are multiple snowy mountains with ski resorts within a couple hour drive of Los Angeles. also they call the settlement "Filly" because its a landfill....
It could be as close as Mt Wilson, just one hour of drive from downtown LA. Mt Wilson got quite a fairly bit of snow in late Dec early Jan every year during the 3 years I was there.
I don't think Doggo has a healing ability - I just think the dog didn't immediately die after being wounded by the Ghoul. Instead of just leaving doggo to its fate, the Ghoul saw to its wounds - giving it a stimpak to heal from the injury the Ghoul gave it; either because he wanted to make up for hurting the dog or to use the dog to track down its owner (or both; but definitely the latter, as he does say 'Let's go find your daddy').
The Fallout show is centered around the former Los Angeles area. The airport in the episode is LAX, the iconic arches with the restaurant in the middle is a dead giveaway. The donut shop is also a reference to Randy's Donuts' original location in LA. it's even got the freeway intersection in front of it like in real life.
I was confused by this ‘Filly’, initially, but having grown up in So Cal, that definitely is Los Angeles.
snow covered mountains doesn't necessarily mean Alaska. It could be up near Lake Tahoe which sees snow on its mountains almost year-round. Also Iguana on a stick was also in Fallout 4.
I like how Roanoke Gaming caught a stray at 8:39 😂
That is a FO4 style assault rifle. Gauss rifles have the big magnetic coils running down the barrel
I have to wait longer for your videos than the first season. You're killing me WiseFish.
Seriously though, really enjoy the fallout videos. keep it going!
😂 so sorry man! Happy you enjoy them. Wish I could make them faster but Amazons tricky to get around
My weapon nut brain is having aneurysm every time Wisefish calls that FO4 Assault Rifle a Gauss Rifle…
Hey guys did you know Filly is named as such due to it being built on a landfill. I dont think anyone has mentioned that in the comments yet, not one single time i bet
What you're seeing when Lucy cuts the doctor's head off is Los Angeles International Airport's control tower. The desert has retaken the land
Oh wow. Didnt think id see finch as a scientist in this show.
You know knight Titus is Michael Rappaport right?
I think its called filly because the town is built in a garbage dump or landfill
The scene where one of the newborn pups is thrown into an incinerator was horrible and I was like "OMG that was so cruel" when I first saw it.
Maybe the lady of the store when talking about how the vaults were for rich people, she may be talking about vault city, because they were kinda ass with outsiders
21:28 Nope, they are definitely different vault boy figurines as they eve have strikingly differen pose.
I really like how you pointed out some small details that I didn’t even notice or think about when watching the show. Like the wasteland survival guide on the wall and how the ghoul just eats a bunch of food mid fight to get some hp back. Great work!
Edit: I just finished the season and wow. So well done and I am very very excited for season two.
WiseFish, This made me laugh so hard, thanks for sharing!
Hopefully for good reasons? Lol but thank you!
The design of Titus' rifle makes it look more like what they label assault rifle.
Great job on this one! Really enjoyed it even though I haven't seen the series myself. Well played.
the actress playing lucy is british, and also starred in miss peregrine's home for extraordinary children.
23:40 Well to be fair, those who got into Vaults *were* the rich and privileged. It’s just that there was another layer of extreme wealth and privilege superseding those dwellers, much to the dwellers’ chagrin once the experiments became apparent.
Especially in the LA area.
Huge fan of these, I’ll wait until this series has finished before I go back and watch for a 2nd time
Loving the breakdowns and your theories! Small note, they are squires, not scribes
Oh yeah 😂 woops how did I miss that? I watch it with subtitles as well. Thanks for the correction
This show was a nice little showing of the main Villans of "Justified" . Walton Goggins as Boyd, The guy that brings the ghoul up from the grave was also a main villan in like season 3 or 4. And the guy who plays Titus is a huge player for a couple seasons. Very good actors all of them
Hope you do a recap at the end of what you got right and wrong
I think the ghoul stabbed the dog to stop him not to kill him.
He stabbed to kill. But then realized that he need the dog to track its runaway master, so he had to heal the dog with steampack.
@090giver090 he's a smart dude I think maybe he planned that
Yes Maximus has a ten in luck. He’s doing an idiot savant build after all
That PipBoy in the Shop window is a nod to the OG Fallout’s MC’s PipBoy
An Awesome listen mate, great job!!
lol gotta love that Roanoke reference
I put down the turret missing every shot to the Target having 10 Luck
Love the reference to Roanoke gaming starting with the feet
Max used better crits stacked on a sneak attack to headshot a yaoguai that just had a boxing match with power armor, so i can let that be aight
The scene with skeletons in the dessert with lucy, she picks up a bottle of “Plan B” made by vault tec. That i believe is new?
Right off the bat, Television 📺
First time for everything for Lucy.
Your synth theory is…interesting lol. I don’t see it at all, but I guess some people just see things differently.
Can't wait for part 3
Shame all the effort building Shady Sands was not worth it, blown away by a dude in a mood with access to Nukes.
When episode 3
16:12 its the flashlight
Cool vid bro.😺
Fallout 76 leaves me searching for screws.
cover the rage games.
The FO series was the first one i binged in one night, its awesome. Small spoiler, not really i guess. But later episodes the Ghoul refers to the dog as "Dogmeat" which was awesome. Dogmeat was my favorite companion in FO4. Here's to hoping the series somehow brings Three Dog into the show! that'd be killer!
Ahhhhhh finally 🎉🎉🎉
Sorry for the delay! Amazon Prime is tricky to get around so takes a while to make these
So I did just look it up and apparently for the American dog kennel association CX stands for carting excellence i’m wondering if dog meets tattoo has an additional meaning. I think everybody who will read this comment understands what 404 is in reference to so I’m just wondering if dog meat could be carrying some thing that is not yet known.
It's the Assault Rifle from F4 and F76, Gauss Rifle looks a lot more "techie" with a lot of coils and LED display and stuff. Also Filly is the name of that junk town that Lucy arrives at, the one that kinda looks like Megaton with the plane in the center of it. Your synth theory sounds interesting but a bit of a stretch imo.
Maximus is like me frfr, i always max out luck just like him
Damn right! Only way to play
SCIENCE!!!
no the manikin ether describe a murder or dethse of caricters
Bro, your comment about the 76 base turrets is absolutely correct. Utter garbage...completely useless. A pit for your steel scraps, at best.
should do some half life lore!
Do you have other information then we do or are you trolling? Thats not a gauss rifle, thats the standard assault rifle with long barrel.
Please tell me you´re trolling. Anyway awesome video, love you content.
...god, i hope he´s trolling...
Just having a bit of fun dude. Thought it was at first but you’re right quite clearly assault rifle.
@@WiseFish All good, fun is fine, fun is nice
