In Fallout 76 the "Healing Factor Serum" is a similar green color and grants the Healing Factor mutation. Thaddeus could very well become some kind of super mutant as opposed to a ghoul.
Super Mutants are caused by FEV Virus, im not saying that couldn't happen (hell i think its actually what is happening), just that it wouldn't be the serum

Just so you know 1:00:50 that is not gas, it's coolant. Cars were nuclear powered not gas powered. The coolant was required to not keep the vehicles ' safety switch from permanently locking up the engine and depowering the cell.

Corn is considered one of the most adaptable food sources in the world, probably only rice would be better, but rice isn't really feasible as a major crop in a desert without better infrastructure. Corn is a veg, and a starch, and it's easy to get both veg protein and cooking oil from it. In an apocalypse situation, corn would be one of the best crops to grow in general.

The warheads were delivered by high-speed rockets, not dropped as bombs from aircraft. You wouldn't see it coming, and detonation occurs thousands of feet above ground to maximize damage.

One of those serums is a healing factor serum which instantly replenishes health once combat is over. Which is exactly what happened to Thad. The trap was a combat situation. Am I the only one that thinks Maximus is going to be Coopers grandkid? Cooper seems to have a very similar story to protagonist of Fallout 4, and having Maximus be his grandkid kind of fulfils the Shawn narrative for cooper.
Cleverest writing choices IMO: Thaddeus describing a “Lord of the Flies” situation while also being given a very Fallout flavored backstory of being a sh!tter Barbara Cooper *selling* the Vault-Tec product to the industrialists by affirming nuclear exchange is fatalistically inevitable while *never* divulging any Vault Tec premeditated intentions to actually throw the initial bomb
I think it’d be a super interesting idea if cooper “the ghoul” was actually the mysterious stranger that has been on a mission to go after vault tech, house, and the other company heads that initiated the bombings but along his way to get justice he “looses” his humanity (no pun intended). I know lore wise it couldn’t really happen but definitely an interesting story idea!

I'm still of the mind that the quack doc was actually selling serums like what can be bought in 76. One of those serums is a healing factor serum which instantly replenishes health once combat is over. Which is exactly what happened to Thad. The trap was a combat situation. After it triggered he was out of combat and could heal to full health barring rads. Just my 2 cents

Am I the only one that thinks Maximus is going to be Coopers grandkid? Cooper seems to have a very similar story to protagonist of Fallout 4, and having Maximus be his grandkid kind of fulfils the Shawn narrative for cooper.
I still hope that the Big Bad from Vault-tec will step out of the shadows to be Ron Perlman

Thaddeus describing a “Lord of the Flies” situation while also being given a very Fallout flavored backstory of being a sh!tter
Barbara Cooper *selling* the Vault-Tec product to the industrialists by affirming nuclear exchange is fatalistically inevitable while *never* divulging any Vault Tec premeditated intentions to actually throw the initial bomb

I think it’d be a super interesting idea if cooper “the ghoul” was actually the mysterious stranger that has been on a mission to go after vault tech, house, and the other company heads that initiated the bombings but along his way to get justice he “looses” his humanity (no pun intended). I know lore wise it couldn’t really happen but definitely an interesting story idea!

Not to Nit-Pick, but the car isn't electric. It's atomic or nuclear. Like most things in the Fallout world. When you blow up vehicles in-game, they explode into a mini-mushroom-cloud.
