Awesome review Dave, I really like the flip up back screen, that's a pretty cool feature :) Sony's always been known for good cameras, nice to see they're continuing it. Great that you outlined some of the negatives so that new buyers are aware, overall great video, I really loved the video footage of the Lego Ben, keep up the awesome videos, you're a legend! :D
Fast forward to 2020... and this is still holding up very well! Sony build quality shines out when it still works 8 years and over 50,000 photo's later. I just bought another from Ebay for £100 with less than 3000 shots which will take over from the old one :-)
Yo Dave,How's thing's mate ?,As for this camera,well what can i say,Excellent review !!,You touched on everything i could thhink about asking of you. i to like the over all look,That kit lens is one of the thing's i was most interested in. When comparing this against the idea of me getting a DSLR, I looked for materials used in the build. You also mantioned the Audio quality,being that so many cameras out there shoot great video,but have poor audio,you only get to find out when you get it home.
One of my best daily hobbies is watching Dav video review,its really worth and make sense and knowledge..

Good camera, the reason the flash is there, is so you can use the EVF
The problem about charging the battery inside the camera is that you can not use the camera while you're charging the battery.
Much better than any POS Samsung camera i've used.
