Understudies finally getting centre stage as many of them are just as good if not better than the person who is playing the role but not always
This is, I think, my very favorite Sondheim song; and a perfect choice to celebrate understudies.
Rip to are friend composer mentor teacher king of musical theatre icon legend and idol the one the only Stephen Sondheim you will be missed 😢
Finally well deserved recognition
So much talent. And a great song choice for a group of people who will clearly be the names in tomorrow’s papers
You all deserve this 👏🏾
Stunning 💕
So amazing
Beautiful voices!
Will they do another one for Swings and stand ins?
Amazing do we know what parts they do and the shows they are in?
it's on the screen
@@jarofcocoabutter Um, I don't see that at all (credits on the screen) -- what am I missing?
@@NateButlerFresnoCA the screens behind them have their roles & names
@@jarofcocoabutter Aww, I see; thank you. Although it's a bit difficult to see in the sweeping camera moves in the video; I suppose I can freeze-frame if I really wanna know.
There’s definitely something off in the harmonies. Maybe it’s the audio mix? Nice tribute though
What show is this song from?
Merrily We Roll Along
@@IsaacBD Thank you.
No shade, the performers are all great and I cried lol, but does this feel a bit under tempo?
Warbling/vibrato overdone. Good voices, admirable. Not syncronized, of crse. Another round of rehearsal to fix, I suppose.
Messy messy, gross. This is messy and a gross tribute to Sondheim. So many missed notes
I agree, but it may be more to do with the audio mixing on the video than anything.
