I love The Dollmaker of Krakow! If you want to try a graphic novel for the Middle Grade March I highly recommend This Was Our Pact. It feels like a beautiful modern fairytale with a great message of friendship at the core. Your kid might like it too!
A lot of these books are on my TBR or were books that I loved. I will need to look into Heidi and Anne of Green Gables! Thanks! My kids and I love anything by Tom Fletcher. It always gives us a good laugh. The Girl Who Drank the Moon is one of my all time favorites.
I can't believe I didn't have Nevermoor on my TBR, but it's on there now. I'll pass on anything that makes you sob! :) I did read Far From the Tree by Robin Benway and I sobbed and sobbed at the end. I had to get out of my bed and go in the bathroom so I wouldn't wake up my husband with my crying. I thought maybe that would be a book you'd like since you don't mind a book that makes you cry! :) It's a YA book about adoption and foster care. Just a wonderful read!!
Thanks for the middle grade recs! I really enjoyed Nevermoor and Wundersmith, and I liked your comparison to Wonderland. I am hoping to get to Hollowpox in March. A middle grade I often recommend is Song for a Whale by Lynne Kelly; it's a lovely story and a great audiobook.
I'm also doing middle grade march, it's so fun so far!! Great recommendations. I really recommend Root Magic and Blackbird Girls for some great historical fiction middle grades.
I hope to pick up Nevermoor again in March since I didn’t finish it before. Also, thanks for the shoutout, and A Monster Calls is definitely a great one to recommend! Hits you right in the feels! P.S. Your top is so cute, and you look beautiful as always. Love you, friend! 😘
Great recommendations my middle grade pile is already big keeps growing put Heidi on hold and have sweep to pick up from my library and have the war that saved my life and the second book on my middle grade tbr so many great books. A monster calls sounds intriguing.
Esperanza Rising by Pam Muñoz Ryan is a historical fiction and it’s beautiful ☺️ El Deafo by Cece Bell is an autobiography graphic novel also beautiful my kids loved it!!!
The War that Saved My Life is on my March TBR. I also read The Dollmaker of KraKow last year. Loved that book!
Yay! Hardly anyone has read Krakow and it's so good! I love that you loved it!
I'm also a big fan of historical fiction. I hadn't heard of The Dollmaker of Krakow before, but it sounds like something I'd absolutely love!
