The Chrismie-uh, Christmas-y things I usually like to read up on are re-reads of old favorites or something that gives me nostalgia. Doesn't even have to be winter or holiday themed. Though, I do admit, it's been eons since I've read A Christmas Carol lol
Heeeeeey girl! I adore your videos, as always! 😘 So, I almost forgot about Peter Pan 🙈 But it’s okay! Maybe a right after Christmas read? Super excited about reading it and A Boy Called Christmas with you!! ❤️ Also, I’m gonna have to get Frostheart on my TBR for next winter! And you’ll have to add the Christmasaurus to yours and your kids next year, too. I just feel like Reiner would love it! 😄 Talk to you soon! Love you, friend! 🥰
I also reread A Christmas Carol every year. I have a lot of books I have put in my Kindle Christmas collection so I have a lot to choose from - not sure how many I will really be able to read.
I read A Christmas Carol for the first time this year and I’m thinking of reading it again before Christmas and rereading it every year then watching the movie! Good luck with your possibility pile ☺️
This isn’t Christmas or winter, but my kids and I just finished Elijah of Buxton, and it’s the best book I’ve ever read. Like, lifetime best book. I LOVED Elijah and instantly fell in love with him and his story. I’m not sure if you’ve read it, but if not, your son might really like it too.
Awww you look so pretty! I love that sweater. 😍 Ahhhh can we please read Frostheart together! Have you seen the BBC Christmas Carol that came out last year? So so amazing. 💯
@@callmeaftercoffee Yes, I did. The book is categorised as a children's book but the topics it tackles and the message it conveys are applicable to all ages. It felt so real. All the laughter and pain. Everything felt so real. It sounds like a story of someone you know - your neighbor or friend. And the possibility that it might really is, punches you very hard in the gut. And after you finish the book and go back to the backstory of the book itself, how, why and by whom it was written, you get mixed feelings of sadness and joy and gratefulness that the female author shared this story with "you" before the events that occurred afterwards. I also watched the film "A monster calls". imdb.com/title/tt3416532/ Personally, I think that the book is better. In the film they change a lot of things and ommit details that ruin my experience. Have you watched it? What do you think about it?
I love you calling it a possibility pile instead of TBR! 😁😁.
I love it too, takes the pressure off :)
The painted edges on Castle in the Clouds looks amazing!😍😍
Thank you!
I love the Boy Called Christmas series. Happy reading!
A Boy Called Christmas is just wonderful and the Kerstin Gier book definitely is set in a beautiful snowy setting!
I love seeing your possibilities. I'm really hoping to read A Boy Called Christmas as well. Also, Frostheart looks really cute.
Frostheart does look super cute!
I going to try and read The Boy Who Saved Christmas this month. Christmas is my favorite time of year too.
