I’m with you on the red rising series.. book one is definitely a slow burn in the beginning but there’s plenty to keep you entertained after the midpoint.. great video as always keep it coming.. ❤
@@aeiou4515 so beautifully put! That series really knows how to keep you captivated in the plot and the twists and turns. Thank you, I appreciate your support so much 🫶🏼✨
Thank you for this! I have been dying to get into fantasy but I felt so overwhelmed. I am currently reading my first fantasy book which is the serpent and the wings of night.
I see you have the Caraval series on your bookshelf but it wasn’t mentioned. Is it not a fave? Currently reading the second book. I’m hoping to get to the Christmas one Spectacular by the holidays
@@tashalynn8205 i love Stephanie Garbers books! But I preferred the once upon a broken heart series. How are you finding Caraval? The novella looks so beautiful 🥹
@ I’ve been really enjoying it! It gives me Nutcracker vibes for some reason. And during the Christmas season it’s perfect so I can’t wait to get to Spectacular! But I also can’t wait to get to Once Upon a Broken Heart because I’ve heard everyone prefers that one 🥰
@ definitely the perfect time to read 😍 can’t wait to see what you think to once upon a broken heart, if you’ve loved caraval then I think you’ll adore that series!
Harry Potter books are a must! other books that got me hooked: Hunger Games, House of Night Series from P.C Cast, any book from Charlaine Harris... 🥰 so many. Also the Serpent & the wings of night is a trilogy, the 3rd book comes out on Nov 19th 🤩
Powerless by Lauren Roberts It has a similar vibe to some of these books, it's a romantasy, and I can't even begin to verbalize it, but it's just an incredible book!! For this book to also have been Lauren Roberts debut book written at only 18 makes it even better! Occasionally, the plot was predictable, but oh my goodness, I read the book with virtually no break from the moment I picked it up to the moment I finished it. I highly recommend everyone give this book a go! (also I adore the tension between the two main characters, and I love that this book has a strong female mc, in some ways, she reminds me a lot of Celena Sardothien/Aelin Galathynius from the Throne of Glass series)
I’m loving them, gripping, magical, plot twists, wouldn’t have thought it was my kind of read, I’m so happy I took your advice thank you x
