Said it before. Will say it again. I started using SFO after 500 hours of vanilla Total War. I'm past 5000 hours now. SFO has extended the lifespan of this game x10.

Yeah! I felt like race/lord reworks were not stressed enough. They are massive, and certainly one of the best additions of the mod. Chaos Fortresses and divided Chosen, daemonettes for Morathi, Beastmen rework was massive before their DLC dropped, just to name a few.
The best warhammer2 mod without a doubt. It is basic for any campaign and enjoy the game and the lore of each faction. Thank you Venris for so much work and so much dedication.
The SFO mod simply is Good,great among other words,it makes races I dislike normally ,nice to play (relkland and the empire) ,improves races I loved already,added new mechanics and so on ,the worse races are still equal to better than some of the best ones in base game
I don’t know why you put so much time into a free mod for us humble Warhammer enjoyers but you sir are a pillar of are community a true god of mods and if you plan to do something similar for Warhammer 3 I will certainly check it out thank you.
Thanks for the video, even if I've been playing with this mod for a while now, I've still discovered stuff I didn't notice. Also, I can confirm that the battle Ai actually is better in SFO, especially with cavalry in my campaigns. So whatever you guys did, it worked :))
Grimhammer is practically the only mod I still play in WH 2. It just makes the game experience so much more "rich" for me. Don't need more but want no less either. So I hope we will see Grimhammer 3 with WH3 as from March 2022 on 😄. Venris, you do a great job ( as you probably know...hehe ) all the best for 2022 and stay healthy . Stefan

Maybe, play every faction 1 time Vanilla bro. (after 7/8 vanilla campaign) So when you play SFO, you can really see what's the difference in taste. (of course you are free to do as you wish.) xD

Hey, I have a question about battle difficulty...does it change AI skill (strategy, tactics, casting, positioning,...) or does it simply buff the enemy units and nerf my army? Also, which difficulty would you recommend then for the best experience( dont know if you designed it on specific difficulty) To end, thank you for this great work and wish you all the best!
You can't change how AI behave in battles by modding. I play very hard campaign and normal battles. Mod is designed for all difficulty levels and settings.

Great job on the mod i really enjoy it so far, I'm just a bit confused on how The Gifts of Isha works in Alarielle's campagin. I have the income per turn at 11 but i still don't generate any Gifts to spend on unit upgrades. Am I missing something?
One of my biggest questions: where can I recruit my elite units?? For example: i statted a campaign with the dwarfs , as the lord Thorgrim grudgebearer... my everguard was killed in a big fight but i couldnt recruit them again( or i dont know where or how)
I'm trying to play this with Tyrion on easy and the AI is out for my blood. I don't really understand why all of them hate my faction so much, and I get stuck in a situation where by the time I can get 1.5 armies there's like 5 factions at war with me each with at least one full stack. I don't understand how I'm supposed to do anything.
Hello there! I'm just here asking for assistance. Whenever I launch the game with the SFO mod, it crashes. This has no happened previously, but now I cannot play with the mod installed. Anyone know how to fix this or have the same issue?
This mod looks so good. I hate that I have TWWH 1 and 2 on the Epic Games Store. I hate that I have to buy both games again on steam. Granted, I got TWWH1 for free, but still
well steam also has the benefit in that third party sellers also have steam keys. with epic you're at the mercy of epic games for sales for this series
Was really digging this mod until I ran into the invaders from the north. I didn't even have invasion on. But multiple full stacks of basically invincible troops and large monsters has essentially ruined my experience. They can move 50% further than any of my armies and their units are, again, invincible. I've gone up against one stack of half-health army with my two full stacks of elite and support units and been crushed, without even managing to eliminate one of their units. It's not at all fun. Add little things like how the AI can attack out of a forced march stance, don't suffer movement penalties from other stances or entering other stances, can replenish even in places they should be suffering attrition (like Empire armies replenishing deep into Vampire Counts lands). And that's the biggest drawback of the mod. There are severe balance issues and cheating mechanics.
not a fan of the changed stats for units, primarily the massive health increases. it essentially makes every other unit mod obsolete since the health stats for those modded units are nowhere near even basic SFO units. example; basic empire swordsmen has 13000 hp and a lot more models than i.e some mod that allows me to buy knights of the blazing sun who will have around 8000 hp and less models and only slightly better stats. for this reason every cool unit mod has its comment section flooded with "SFO COMPATIBLE PLS?" or something along those lines. needless to say i won't be using SFO despite the numerous other cool changes it brings, because i want to use those other unit mods. oh and before someone screams "there's almost always an SFO version of a mod" i've just gotta tell you that i've tried those, and they constantly conflict with one another or crash the game, or make it so the game won't even launch.

@@VenrisSFO i dunno man, there seem to be some distinct issues with those "longer battles" like units being able to take 1-2-3 even 4 cannonballs to the face and only lose about 5% of their units overall health. last i checked, taking a cannonball to a rank of soldiers would annihilate at least 4-5 of them from the impact alone, let alone a few more solely from shrapnel damage. but hey, maybe thats just an indication that certain artillery units need a buff. go ahead and check it for yourself, have a unit of simple empire spears march towards 2-3 units of great cannons and have them all fire and see how little damage it does. i am aware that those particular cannons are meant to be a counter to 'large' entities, but their damage against small entities are beyond bad. this is unrelated to my initial comment, but its something that bothered me when i played with SFO enabled. it can't be right that only hellstorm and mortars do proper damage to infantry.

You need to unlock them first in tech tree. Info about that is on resource itself on top of the screen.

Its anti snowball effect mechanic. Character cheese is when you do character only armies or farm for specific traits.

Looks like you have some mod conflicts there. All mentioned stuff dont happen with SFO only.
