Can you use spray paint to dye sola wood flowers? What If Wednesday

Did you have any issues with changing out from the skewers that you used for painting to the wires you used for the arrangement? Like any chunks of flower coming off when removing the painted skewer?

Not typically it does create a little bit of a larger hole so I make sure I have enough glue on the flower to get the wire to stay
