- After repairing my motor brushes i developed a rear wheel pressure electrical fault. I was not sure where the fault was inside the abs unit, and wasnt sure if another abs unit needed coding, so this is my experiment on my abs fault, please be careful when repairing your brakes, this is a video about how i fixed my fault,

Hey man, I'm glad you fixed it! So it definitely needs coding after all , yup that's BMW. Could you perhaps make a video opening the faulty ABS Block? That would definitely make for an interesting video if we could see what could go wrong in these pressure sensors/valves whatever they are.
@@Lab0RatorXV3 yeah i will try and remove the pressure sensor, i noticed a part number on sensor, maby its fixable
@@Tattytyres Alright I'll be waiting on that video! BTW If you need the BMW K2x diagrams and torque specs shoot me a message I'll send you the iso file.
Great video, very entertaining (love the birds on the background ;-)
Do you have any information on where to get the replacement?
thx in advance
@@RichardvanDijk-q6c yeah the birds are loud where i am ha, where in world are u ? Im in uk i used motomine they did me a great price
Some German published BMW automotive education material on the 4/6 cyl engines of the past 4 decades a few day's ago.
From a single cam to vanos, accept valvetronic. pretty cool company, how they learned to improve the engine.
You probably need a microphone, lol.
You should vacuum seal the parts of the abs, if i heard you correctly you would wanna store it.
The wet part in a container with dot4 or also vocumed along with padding material.
@@AnalogDude_ yeah iv got a cold coming on, yeah a mic would come in handy, i hate hearing my own voice ha
Hi. I send mine pump to the France for repair. ABS doesnt works but i had both brakes.
Now when it arrives, after installing i cant get rear brake, like some valve doesnt work. I tried with gs911 to wake it up, but without success.
Can you recommend me to buy only this black part of pump? I mean on electronic unit, or do i need to change complete hydroblock (this silver part)?
Thanks a lot.
@@MrSTANKE91 hi iv had same fault as you, i fixed my fault by replacing the hydraulic metal unit, i had a bad pressure sensor, on your gs911 tool it will show rear brake active , hope this helps thank you
@@Tattytyres Thanks. I will check if there is possibility to buy only that part. Regards
@@MrSTANKE91 i had to buy the complete unit, cost around £100,
@@Tattytyres it is cheap. Sorry to ask, but where did you buy it from? Complete new pump coast about 2000€ in bmw. Thanks
@@MrSTANKE91 im in uk and bought the abs unit from a bike breakers called motomine, cost me about £100, my bike is 2007 and i used a 2010 abs unit, what year bike is yours
Hay man sweet video. What accents that? Scottish?

Keep the old ABS block....one day you'll need the motor when the brushes stick in the one you just put in.
Nice video 😀
@@NeilHayes-p7x yeah im hoping the used block is going to last, at least i know the motor is good on the broken valve block, not had time to strip more of my spare engine, this fault has taken up a bit of my spare time ha, hows your projects going,
Excellent video , kinda confirms that the rear brake pressure sensor fault that was on my unit is not fixable - kudos to you for the process of elimination. Must get me one of those GS-911 👍👍👍
@@shades32uk yeah having the gs911 made it easier to fault find, also when i used the gs911 to bleed brakes it made my brakes feel great, hope video helps,
