the only thing you have to do is to remove 4 plastic black parts at the bottom of the rack...otherwise you can boil vinegar forever it will always stink and be even hazardous for your health not to mention food taste

@@CharlieAlbrightPianist they are just under the black removable rack, on the legs of the rack....they stink like devil....unless you just take them off

@@cococho2767 what plastic bits? Are you talking about the silver rack or the black rack thing? If its the black one, are you referring to the black plastic bits on all 4 sides that slip into metal tab hole things and protect it from scratching the sides? If so those should be heat safe and shouldnt be causing the smell..

I heated it several times but smell doesn't go away. Manufacturers did a really bad job with this

Oh no...once the smell is gone, it's a great air fryer! :). Ours is still going strong, and we use it pretty much every day! 😄
