dosnt make sence how you have to spin in clockwise (slightly right) then you unscrew anti clockwise to take it off. dosnt make anysence to me, are there 2 sets of threads ??
be good if you had done a how to remove alternator on that actual v70 2.4d 2008 onwards az there arnt any on yt, lots of " simulars" but where it matters VERY differnt.

Yes, I had my impact wrench on clockwise.
Opposite on my alternator, S60 petrol. 🧐
