Please do not be offended. It can be hard to understand American sense of humor but this show is one of the good guys. It is satire, the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues. As an American, I support all people's right to religious expression. Freedom of religion is one of America's founding principles.

The US Military is almost like a whole separate country from the US - there's much less bigotry because many American soldiers and marines have been around Iraqi and Afghan Muslims enough to know that the majority of them aren't terrorists.

Jon Stewart leaving the Daily Show is a great great great loss. The Daily Show is the only news show in the US that gets things right.... But the funny this is that it's a satire show and not a journalistic show. And yet they are more trustworthy.

There are Christians and Jews who do wear their head pieces. But the Muslims are known for being more firm on their faith.

Is one Crime justifying the other ? And by the way this is generalizing. Of course there are religious fanatics discriminating people. But not all religious people are like that. Not all of them have the same understanding of their religion.
Many of these people have come to the US seeking a just and civilized country. Some come for a safe haven. For instance, many or even most Muslims in the US immigrate from arab countries that are a war zone or ruled by a tyrant. They do not want anything to do with those regimes and wars, this is why they travel to the US. So when they escape a tyrant or war, thinking they finally reached a just land and a civilized lifestyle. They have to deal with discrimination because the media is showing americans what the arab tyrants and extremists are doing back home. They get married and have kids, become full american citizens, yet their children will face the same discrimination despite wanting to live a normal life away from their corrupt country. Peace.
