Nice job with your review of the Ranger Raptor. I ordered my Raptor 8 months prior to receiving it on October 12th 2024, With out a dought this is the best mid size 👌 truck I have ever owned.
Badass truck. One thing you can do in the bed is get the bed mat usually 100 bucks aftermarket and they work pretty darn good removable in most of them hold your stuff in place pretty decently lol
I just took delivery of my RR in late July 2024. It's more manageable than my 2021 F-150 Lariat that was lifted 6-inches on 35-inch tires and 22x12-inch wheels. What I don't like is the lack of more usable storage space, no moonroof option, no amber DRL's (Raptor staple) and no cooled seats! Ford definitely was pinching pennies bringing this truck to the U.S. market, but I get it. You just can't beat the value found in the RR. Bought mine in Black to match my 2020 Explorer ST. Since I bought it I've put a leveling kit on the front end, and installed some 33.2x12.5 Nitto Recon Grapplers on 20x9 inch wheels. I do like the improved MPG that I get with the RR over my previous F-150 which is 3 MPG more at the moment..
I love cooled seats living in florida its like heated seats in winter I got a hyndui sanitary now and it has cooled seats its strange how many cars don't have that option
@@scottdonbrosky5968 Why not?! I know exactly what I'm doing and not doing with that truck. If you look at a 20" wheel in those 33.2" tires, there is PLENTY of tire left to handle the rough stuff. But again, I'm not rock crawling, jumping or going through any black diamond trails, so don't worry about the wheel size, as it's my preference! It looks good and I can still take it off road, so that's all that matters to me at the end of the day!

@AllTerrainNation thanks! I waited months for it. There was a problem at my dealership where I was told I secured an allocation that they didn't yet have. They eventually didn't get it and put a prioritized order in on the very last day possible, july 31st, because production was cut short due to global parts shortage. I've talked to people that put thier order in April and may and still haven't got a build date, so I feel fortunate.
Just bought an RR. I needed a 4 door and more utility, so I replaced my Bronco Black Diamond 2d. The Bronco was more fun to drive IMO 2.3/7M, but the Raptor is more refined, comfortable and capable for my needs. Awesome job Ford Australia
I ordered a 24 Ranger XLT - 2.3L, 2WD, XLT high pkg, Tech pkg, Advance Tow pkg, and locking rear diff, and I love it. I really enjoy driving it, especially the fuel economy. I find it to be maneuverable, nimble, sporty, and very comfortable. Love the infotainment system, and even the stock stereo sounds great. Only complaint I have is Ford needs to refine the Lane-Keeping assist because it constantly reminds you to keep both hands on the steering wheel.

@ronmccord44 - I don't notice much of an exhaust note on the inside of the truck. I only notice a growl from the engine when accelerating. But it is not an irritating buzzy sound like some other vehicles. I really like how quiet it is on the road. Not much wind noise or road noise at all. I didn't buy the 2.3L expecting it to sound like a V8. The closest thing I have seen to that is my 86 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z with a Chrysler 2.2L I4 and a full 2.5" exhaust with a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler from the turbonetics swing valve back. Ranger Raptor all day! I feel the truck is well under valued for everything you get and if buying it new I would add the Ford Performance tune to it as well. Its only 800 retail and adds so much more to the truck. I tested the RR at Silver lake and loved it. I beat nearly every Bronco I was up against on the drag strip. If you look at options on the inside v the Bronco the truck still wins.
I live in Mexico and I am absolutely getting one of those. I am just waiting to see if Ford gives us the option in 2025 to increase the power as it is ONLY available in for US and Canada models. It's on the Ford Performance website and I called to confirm 😢 I want 450 HP on that baby
Ford is coming out with a factory tune that will give the Ranger Rapter an extra 40 HP and 510 pound feet of torque... Which would make this mid-size pickup the top dog in its category.
Perfect timing for me to come across this video. I am actually going to look at that exact truck this weekend at a local dealership here in the northeast. They actually have it on the lot and they are selling at MSRP! The one caveat to this story is that i would potentially be trading in my '23 F150 Raptor. I know I know. Why would i even contemplate that? Well what i could afford easily 1-2 years ago is becoming increasingly more difficult. I have plenty of equity into the '23 as i only owe ~$33K so i will be putting quite a bit down on the Ranger which could drop my monthly payment by over $200 a month. Huge given that my son just started high school and his tuition payment (my half) is like having another Raptor payment. After just 2 months of that it is certainly going to be a struggle for the next 4 years. Plus i rent an apartment and i was talking to a couple of my neighbors and they said that their rents just went up another $200/mo. So is holding onto the F150 Raptor worth the financial struggle? No. But my dilemma is that my truck is my dream truck and if i get rid of it I will never be able to get another one...thanks for listening all. I am wondering if anyone here has gone from an F150 Raptor to a Ranger Raptor and how that transition has been. Thanks and cheers!

Crazy how different the market is in the USA to New Zealand. You would be absolutely out of your mind to pay over retail here, dealers readily offer discounts on them. Second hand market seems to be incredibly weak, it's not uncommon to see them going for 15-18k (NZD) less than retail with ~10,000kms on them. Perhaps it's the proliferation of desiels here, people seem to gravitate towards the low end torque for off roading and towing. The price of petrol here is $1 more per litre over desiel too which doesn't help. Love mine, just wish I ordered a black one.
I got mine at 2k less than retail cause they didn’t clean it or remove a bunch of scratches. cost me 800 to polish out all the scratches and paint correct it.
@@stevehassell3477 really depends on your needs.. Both are pretty awesome.. The truck is fun and can do light truck things. The Bronco has the removable top but really can not do truck things.

Sometimes plates die..
The R.R. Isn’t going to say Nebraska is it?
Hahha no Tim is not buying it
😢
Me too buddy.. me too
Have you got a buyer?
Yes
@AllTerrainNation sorry, had I have finished the video before I ask, I would have known.. 🤦♂️ Thanks and congrats!!
Ranger Raptor or a Wildtrak Bronco?
@@stevehassell3477 really depends on your needs.. Both are pretty awesome.. The truck is fun and can do light truck things. The Bronco has the removable top but really can not do truck things.
Ive got amber grill lights lol on my frontier....
And before yall be like: "iTs NoT wIdE eNoUgH"
I am titan swapping it and doing so makes the truck 6inches wider.

Going to order a 2025 RR, but disappointed in the color choices, was going to get the red, nope no longer available, my next choice was iconic silver, nope, so now either black or blue, but disappointed.

I like my 2024 XLT! 😊
R.R VS Land Cruiser😂 if you only have one vehicle for next few years.

I’d like to change the steps to a true rock slide. Hopefully the election puts Trump back in charge. All the economic problems are directly related to the current administrations reckless spending.
My dealer sold it at MSRP to me but said out of towners pay up to 5G over. I payed cash for it. I love it.
Same here. Getting one for MSRP because I am a local customer.
Oh ok
