There are numerous Australian companies making them over here 🇦🇺 👈 Apparently they are not supposed to be covered 🤔 An Australian engineer who worked exclusively on the Ranger Raptor development project over here in Aus said the sensor need to do its thing, being covered supposedly compromises the sensor.
Since there aren’t many in the US, who knows, but after researching, it seems to be a common thing from where they are more popular and put a while, like AUS
Because they did not drive them under all conditions, ie scrub and bush tracks where overgrown vegetation, sticks and foliage can get flicked up and caught underneath. Typical of Australian bush driving.
Ahh...did you copy them from the ones here in Australia?... looks very much the same... the company here that makes them also makes the cover for the module further down the chassis
Thanks for creating the aftermarket support we need in U.S.!!
I’m trying! We are just getting started 💪
great job, you noticed an issue and gave us a solution 👍
😀
The Raptor has been in Australia for a few years now with many aftermarket products already available on the market for extreme off-road conditions.
Here in the US, its new :)
Very cool. I was waiting for the follow up and you killed it. This will be a big hit with the RR folks. Show it on the forums and it will catch fire.
Thank you!

I think this is right. How about zip tie instead?
It was already zip tied. I will take my chances, cuz ripping out a sensor is not doing its thing 😀
3:54 LMFAOOO "omg where are your safety glasses" was the first thing I thought of when I saw you getting down there. Saw that coming. 🤣
Nice. Good idea and execution 👍👍
Do you guys make rear shock skid plates for a 2019 ford ranger if so I want some information if possible please
Congrats!!
Wow, you must be selling a lot! Listen to all that packing tape and boxes shipping!
😂😂
Not seeing this issue with any other channels. Wondering if it's something particular to yours. Time will tell.

Have you spoken to Dave (All Terain Nation) @@BuckleUpButtercupTV, he has a Ranger🦖 too!
Are the bolts stainless so they won't rust?
It reuses factory hardware.
Amazing Ford did not find out about this problem during their testing on 5 continents and all the press test vehicles.

Zip tie?
It was, didn’t work
so I checked out my Ranger Raptor and found the sensor was tie wrapped and looks like it cant slip off, this looks like a factory mod
Mine also has the zip tie
Nice job should’ve came from a factory like that. It irritates me with all the money we spend on these vehicles.
Thanks, I guess they don’t think people will go off the highways with it 🤷🏻♀️
You’re welcome

i was thinking the same thing it looks very similar to the ones i have seen in Australia to
Do you have a link to the aussie retailer?
@trickster8635 there are many companies here that sell so much... GMF... Pirate and so on
Nice
May I know what to search and how to ship to Philippines.
Email support@buckleupoffroad.com
GOGGLES!!! LOL
Seemed like a couple of tip ties could fix that🤷♂️
It was ziptied from the factory, didn’t work
Now if it comes unplugged you have to remove the plate to access it.😂 cool plate you would think the factory would plan for that. British go figure.
Where are your safety glasses?🤓
Actually, always wear safety glasses, woman!
Was going to buy it but sold out😮
Back in stock!
Usa made..... from chinese steel 😂
can't watch, reminds me of my gf complaining and ranting
Lol!! time for a NEW gf... Lol
You are telling me that in order to enjoy my $60 to $80,000 truck I must buy aftermarket part???? 😂😂😂😂😂 what a joke ford😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!!
Still the best small truck for the money in its class. Better than the competition in its size.
It is an awesome truck! And if you aren’t going Offroad, you probably won’t have the problem
@@BuckleUpButtercupTV why buy a 4x4 if you are not going to use it? Listen to your self 😂!
@@ryanb8736 that’s to be seen, can’t wait to hear the 10 20,000 mile reviews.
