I originally plan to make some progress on the Mekanism quest tree, but quickly run into roadblocks. Since Mekanism is a tier 2 tech mod, it relies on tier 1 technology to work. Since I haven't done much with any tier 1 tech mod (minus immersive engineering), we needed to get machines from almost every single one...

Grid power is really easy: anything that generates GP will power anything that uses GP out of thin air, no cables needed!
You can see the GP when hovering over anything that uses GP, and it will show the GP it uses and the total GP.
If you use more GP than you have, EVERYTHING that uses GP will stop working, including your angle ring!

To stop your IC2 machines from exploding, you can connect them with universal cables from mekanism. Additionally they work as transformers between all the power mods so you can power your IC2 machines with mekanism power generators and vice versa. Hope this helps :)
Or just use the IC transformers. That might be easier for now at least.

Quick tip: Make a NuclearCraft Alloy Furnace for basic alloys like bronze, steel, invar, constantan, the Ender IO alloys and many more. It’s relatively cheap to craft and can be powered by the advanced solar panel you made (also works with the Ender IO energy conduits). From what I’ve seen you should have all the raw materials and machines to craft it. Hope this comment helps you and enjoy the rest of your day.
